First of all De la hoya didn't lose this fight. I think DLH not being part of Don King's team affected him bc Don King brought corruption to the sport. De la hoya lost twice and had two draws lost against Hopkins(to big for any welterweight or lightweight just taking that fight was a mistake, and the first fight against Mosley, the draws were against Whitaker and Mayweather,the rest are wins by any way u want to measure a fight power punches,composition stats, rounds won etc plain and simple. And as for Trinidad and Chavez great fighters no doubt but they have been outclassed and punished by other fighters, who has really kicked Oscar's ass?

I've watched it four times, Floyd gets better every time. People who don't appreciate defensive boxing don't like Floyd fights. I watched it with a bunch of friends, we were all split on who won. i dont think so.....there is no way DLH can ever be robbed of a fight ever again....he is the most influential figure in boxing...more so than floyd....he is the head of prob now the most powerful promotions company in golden boy....he owns ring magazine.....no judge would ever intentionally score against him....if anything i thought the judges were very generous towards DLH....the balance of power is in DLH hands....

First of all De la hoya didn't lose this fight. I think DLH not being part of Don King's team affected him bc Don King brought corruption to the sport. Even though DLH won If I were him I would fight trinidad again, I mean Sugar ray leonard had a second shot with Duran. If I were him I would just train hard and whoop trinidad.
