what an artist ... paid tribute to him with Life In The Arena by Anna Fisher and Jawge Hughes also have recorded a version with Santa Davis, Fully Fullwood, Tony Chin & Michael Hyde "Tribute To Salvation" soon come!
Is this version really Jackie Mittoo? The original 60's vinyl has a Hammond playing the lead instead of guitar. Which version is this i actually prefer it!
Brilliant utterly brilliant and thank you for putting this on. What is odd is that the copy I bought on Banana label from Bamboo Records in Finsbury Park in 1970 is a completely different and mellower take.
Does any1 have ''Wicked McNash Allstars - Peenie Wallie'' it's on Stud records, it's not a version of this just shares the same title, amazing tune i once had! Can't re-find it anywhere on the net!
@Patcannistan the intro was used for mr brown , but the main part of the song and the actual riddim was versioned by scratch and the wailers for duppy conquerer.
maybe the b...y cant read

Ok so the song "This Too Shall Pass" by OK GO sampled Bob Marley's "Mr Brown" which itself was sampled by Jackie Mittoo's "Peenie Wallie"
