This works for me sometimes but half the time I jump off a building and try to assassinate and he just knocks him over. game is kinda sucky in that way, but I'm playing on an XBOX.

Altair is the reason why i play AC at all. I was hugely dissapointed when i found out he was gonna be only in 1.5 games. .5 meaning a supplementary character and not the main protagonist.

You can also aerial assassinate from a hanging position. I do it all the time.

Really, the only thing you need to do is sprint and assassinate /: I get it like... All the time. He automatically jumps, you don't need to be up high.

@strangeboy152 Wrong, Brotherhood fixed SO many problems with the free-running, as well as made the combat a lot more fluid and stylish. Plus, tell me the idea of calling your own Assassin underlings into battle isn't the most badass concept in the series thus far.

BTW, Assassin's Creed: Revelations is due this November, and Altair will once again be playable. It promises to be the best of the AC games.

@TheByQQ I don't get how you can say that when AC1 was more or less the same mission over and over. And Ubisoft still didn't know what they were doing with the controls, everything was so....clunky.

The concept behind AC1 was my favorite of the series, don't get me wrong - with the whole underlying false-master scheme - but the gameplay just had so many weaknesses it's not even funny.

All of them are good, but Brotherhood was the worst IMO. They just put so many mechanics in that they couldn't refine all of them in the time they had. Rome was a terrible city. The actual city is smaller than Florence.
