I really do believe that drying out the skin does cause the production of more oil. Its common sense. If you constantly strip the oils off your face, the skin will produce more oil to compensate. And then after excessive drying when you go to mositurize you'll have a ton of oil. A great option for oily skin people is to use gel based moisturizers, or moisturizers that are oil free.

Eve's book is great. I love it. Love the show Koren, and eve's techniques are so great for anyone. PB looks great

Some people like to do it that way so that if there is fallout, you can get rid of it without mucking up the foundation.

because when you do your shadow, sometimes it can be messy and you got eyeshadow under your eyes, so if you notice after she did her eyes she cleaned it and then she did the foundation.. if you don't do it your skin absorves it... or even if you clean it after, you will mess the foundation and have to put it all over again

Don't get me wrong, it is nice to watch a pro do makeup, but then again it is kind of intimidating because she has been taught way more things than the average woman and if these are meant to help then i don't see it. Anyway, she is good at what she does, so keep it up girl!

she says to moisturize even if you have oily skin and that drying oily skin out only makes it worse but i try to dry my oily oily oily skin out and it improves it and i find when i start moisturizing daily i begin to breakout BADLY...do you have any solutions?

Should the salmon concealer be darker than your natural skin tone or should you try to get the same level of darkness as the rest of your face I'm trying to order eve pearl conceler online and I'm confused with other things I've heard

You'd use the "level of darkness" of your foundation shade as a starting guide. If your bluish/purplish under eye circles aren't that much darker than your skintone, then you'd generally want to get our Salmon Treatment & Concealer in the same shade.  However, if your under eye circles are much darker, then you'd want to get the next darker shade.

Of all the videos so far, this is the best. The lighting really shows the details of the foundation & eye shadow application. The frontal full face closeups are the best! You can really see what is happening instead of just trying to make it out from afar and from a side view. Closeups really make the difference in being able to pick up the technique!
