Thanks for the reply what are you setting up for throttle and pitch curves on this heli? And how much collective pitch do you have for regular and idle up 1 and 2??? Nice machine forsure flys great!
@magusmusic unless you plan on doing some backwards flying, or masters level 3D, a 401 gyro is fine. Not sure what one he's using here. You can check out what other guys are using on a 700 in the forums though
@warderseeker They are model numbers for Zenoah gasoline engines for model airplanes and helicopters. The G20 is 20CC, the G231 is 23cc and the G260 is 26cc. The G20 used here is powering this Radikal G20 which uses 620mm rotor blades. The G231 and G260 would power bigger gasoline helis, like the Predator & Radikal G30 that use 700mm blades
Man, do you have a gyro on your camera or are you just damn good at filming!???
This guy flying is smoooooothhhhh as silk. Great balance, tracking and programing he did for this bird. Century helis are great. I have a cp 400 tornado that I need to finish cause I am going to the "dark side" (helis) also but I need to get some help with programing my Fut. 9cap first. I guess I will just keep practicing with my stupid blade cp pro POS!
Nice heli and great flying, I've been wondering about the Radikal but haven't heard or seen alot about them. I would imagine it has a really good flight duration due to the gas?
@SuperToosmall Thanks for the info. Great flying and that is a beautiful heli!! I'm considering getting into a gas heli. I'm not a 3D banger by any means, I just love to fly them and the gas seems much more economical. My Trex 600 NSP gets a lot of air time and Iove it, but the fuel and run time of 7-9min (depending) kind of bugs me a bit.
I want a gasser!!

That was a Radikal G20 using a Zenoah G20 EI motor - it is a much smaller motor then a G260

@betofazzo thanks, believe it's a 26cc and governed. Just one of the pilots at the Heli event.

@777muzzy oh yeah, huge run time. If you don't have big batteries, they'll die before you run out of gas LOL
warderseeker 1 year ago
@warderseeker You mean it doesn't have a alternator on it. What the heck. LOL.
jauchiu 1 year ago
@jauchiu haha...little bigger they can start having them, but battery is much lighter I think lol
