where did you get all those sounds? i only have the strings sytrus

@nughaga I made them. You should have more presets for Sytrus than just the strings, but you won't have these unless you download the template.

however, I do have a question! im using this template right now to make a short little song and I notice that Sytrus has a reverb/delay effect on it. how do I turn it off? I looked all over google and nothing could help me so I thought I'd ask you.

@kalebpage Go into the tab toward the top of sytrus titled "FX" and in the right of the fx module, there will be a delay and reverb bank. It has D1, D2, D3, and R tabs

Click on R, then click the Enable button so it isn't lit up.

I've tried to get good with FL Studio before. I understand the basics, like how to work playlists, the piano roll etc. but the thing that gets me is that I'll imagine a really cool sound and have a tune in my head, but I don't know how to tweak the effects and actually KNOW what I'm doing. its all very confusing :S

@kalebpage Yeah, there is a TON of stuff to learn in electronic music production; it's rather daunting lol. I first downloaded FL Studio about 2 years ago, oppened it up said wtf and closed it for a couple months. Then I wateched loads of (tutorial) videos and played around with it as much as I could, and now, I'm just starting to pretty good with it!

I'd say the best way to get good is just to keep studying and practicing... even if your stuff sounds bad at first... I know mine did ;)

@PortalCproductions I don't totally understand your question. If you have FL Studio, you should have at least a demo version of Sytrus. Will the project not open?

@PortalCproductions Hmm, try doing this... Hold ctrl and press F8... then hover your mouse over the "Synthesizer" tab at the bottom and see if it shows up
