My uncle and I bought my parents a puppy Weimaraner for Christmas. We went to pick up the puppy from the breeder and one turned to two and two turned to three. So there we were with three Weimaraner puppy sisters to help open presents Christmas morning. Now my parents have one sister, my uncle has one sister, and I have one sister. Reunions will be crazy.

To those that say "Bloat, WTF", bloat is practically a death sentence and that is why you are supposed feed them two small meals a day. It is very painful. Weims are awesome dogs. They do require a lot of exercise and attention. Mine is recovering from a surgery right now, and trying to keep him inactive is very difficult. (ACL/cruciate repair).

My 3 weimaraners ( Ruca, Garon, and Maddie ) are great with our cat. The dog next door was trying to run her down and the 3 of them ran the dog off. I think it really depends on age and the dog. I got 2 of them when they were alittle over a year old and the other I got at 8 weeks. As far as price Ruca at 8 weeks $800.00, Garon at 11 months $450.00, and Maddie at 13 months was $400.00. @Lilspartan81 Cost depends on the bloodline and how much the breeder wants to rip you off. My last 2 Weims cost about $400 each. My first weim 'Max' had health issues (dysplasia) and I paid about $450. Great dog... needed a little tlc, but he lived to almost 14yrs. My current Weimaraner 'Louie' is about 4 yrs old and is in superb health with a good bloodline. I lucked out and found him at, of all places, a flea market! $350, papers, bloodline, everything! @x011725 not true. they are also wonderful falconry dogs, they can be trained for anything you want them to. if you have a cat or a bird, they can be trained to accept the animal. they work great with birds of prey when hunting.

I've got a 4 year old Weimaraner which lived very happily with our cat which died aged 16 a couple of months ago. he used to lick the cat on the top of the head, and you could tell that the cat liked it!

I love my Weimaraner. He is my big baby!! He acts sooo much like a human, that's how smart he is. He came from a breeder with champion lines up in Canada. He's a absolutely beautiful two year old. But still not snipped yet... Breeder said not to. He is valuable I guess, it doesn't matter to me tho. I love him either way. :)

Weimaraner's are probably the most human like dog there is. They act like us so much. If your sitting in their spot, they will push you out of the chair. If you put a group of them together they'd probably make their own civilization.

We have a weimaraner 9+ months old now. Viewed this video many times in our research phase of dog ownership. She is a great dog/pup. No complaints-we got her at 9 wks old and she has been living in a apartment setting with a large yard since then. The apartment is not urban but rather close to a small city with tonnes of open spaces/lakes /rivers/trails and bush minutes from the door. She is a great pet.

She was very easily house trained (maybe 2-3 accidents since day 1)
