  • @athayer97 -yes! biggest tip i can say is complete your rbhs and set really high before going into the twist also keep a good hollow body position.. just be agressive with your spin it will come :)

  • OMG! This girl is not fat by any means. Plus weight shouldn't be a factor in tumbling any ways. It's all about strenght and flexibility. I've seen a 200LB do a double full and it was pretty. Don't judge a book by its cover!

  • omgee me too. im 14 and ive only been tumbling for 1 year but my coach says i cant move onto fulls cuz my layouts suck--i dnt know how to set any tumbling i just have natural power.

  • gymnasts do standing fulls 2... on something 4 inches wide!!!

  • @thedutyofbeauty Double to a punchfront? On the beam? Alright. You say you could smile but you're not required to. So it sounds easy. Trying to keep your great facials while having complete concentration is harder than it sounds.

  • @karmaa2468 so do cheerleaders, except they do it on guys hands instead of a beam. :)

  • @MychealDanielx but if you fell off the guy's hands he'll catch you, if you fall on a beam then you're paralized, for life.

  • @karmaa2468 just because he's there doesn't mean he will catch you. Trust me, i've seen it...and what the hell..chances of getting paralyzed are slim....maybe breaking for twisting something.

  • @MychealDanielx actually no, my friend got paralyzed a while ago actually because she did a simple backhandspring on beam, he hands were placed wrong, she landed on her neck and now she can't move her legs ever again. stuff like that happens in gymnastics way more often than in cheer. just saying.

  • @karmaa2468 If your implying that gymnastics is more extreame than cheerleading, your sadly mistaken... My friend died from doing a liberty in cheerleading... they droped her , and she landed in there arms, but got more than 10 bones broken... Dont believe me??? Her name is Ashley Burns, look her up.

  • @treat2treat i'm sorry but a lib isn't even hard, they must have been terrible cheerleaders is they can't do a simple lib without killing someone. and the bases jobs are to catch your flyer, if they let you hit the ground then they are bad bases and should not be doing cheerleading. a lot of cheerleaders do what gymnasts do with bad form and looks sloppy, i'm not saying all, but a lot do.

  • @karmaa2468 Like I said, she was caught, but she broke 10 bones.... and when you have had your back broken, and you are JUST starting to get back into cheer again, and you are doing a half up to a full extension lib for the first time in 5 years, there are gonna be mistakes made. Why don't you try to do all of that, then get back to me. Kay?

  • @karmaa2468 Also, Cheerleading is far more important than Gymnastics for other reason than just skills. With Cheerleading, you have too join a team, become a true family with complete strangers, and trust them with your lives (if your a flyer).With Gymnastics on the other hand, you are an individual sport, you don't have to trust anybody, because its up to you, making it much more easy than cheerleading. Put yourself in our position. I dare you, to go to try that.

I've had people break bones, fractures bones, get concussions just on my team...but I'm sure you know the statistics to a T...I'm sure you study up on them all the time right? no. If gymnastics is so extreme then why is Cheer 1 of the top most dangerous sports...& gymnastics isnt? Im a gymnast and a cheerleader, & i've never got hurt in gymnastics. Maybe she shouldn't have thrown a move she couldn't control then. Live &learn.

  • @karmaa2468 no it doesnt u freakin idiot cheering is the most dangerous sport for women look it up and stuff like that is very rare that happened to ur friend there r more reports of catastrophic injuries to cheerleaders than any other sport and more deaths hav been reported in cheer than gym

  • @sunnypuppy22 all i'm saying is that gymnastics is more difficult,because we learn proper technique and form, where as in cheerleading no points are taken off for bad technique they only care about the skill (tumbling) itself. and doing the tumbling properly and nicely is way more difficult than doing it any which way you feel like. have you seen most cheerleaders' fulls/doubles they are UGLY. not nice to watch, gymnasts do the same standing tumbling cheerleaders do, but on beam.

  • @karmaa2468 ok u hav been a gymnast, me 2 for 5 years hav u been a cheerleader probably not. cheerleaders do fulls and doubles but a gymnast doesnt need to wear a tight shirt and a mini skirt with shoes on. gymnastics isnt nearly as tiring as cheer. in cheer ppl do double fulls in the air!!!!! and on the ground!!!!! in cheer ppl scream their heads off with blow horns!!! in gym u hav to wait til the olympics to maybe hear that.and tumbling is a small part in cheer. technique is the biggest thing

  • @karmaa2468 technique is huge in cheerleading, motions, stunts, cheer, tumble everything!!!!!! in gymnastics u dont have to lift ppl up and stunts are a million times harde to balance in than on beam and i would know cuz ima flyer
