@BasketofLotion sorry no case,the action and timbre are fine,Its white wood so the sound is preety sraightforward ,meaning basic without coloration,the guitar is very loud so, its good for jamming and solo playing.
@ravenbarron I bought the guitar and it really is very loud jeez. The strings on it seem like trash though, doesn't stay in tune very long, but whatever.
@BasketofLotion as a rule,I always change the strings on any guitar I buy.I use martin fx 11-52 these seem to work the best. I have had no problem with mine staying in tune but if you are really worried about it I would contact M F. and see what they can do,they are always very helpfull.

i was also wondering like another person was, how was the playability out of the box in your opinion? the reviews on musiciansfriend say it set up very nicely from the factory. just wondering if you would agree with that?
I wanted to know how you like this guitar and was it playable out of the box or was the action high.I have a Glen Burton i got off ebay for 50 bucks action was high good guitar but I sanded the saddle down uneven so I gotta get a new one and the nut came out when I changed strings so need a new nut too thanks.
@damageplan67 I have seen the glen burtons but have not played one,however with the rouge I have had no problems,advise,play the guitar for at least a week before messing with setup most of the time the guitar will adjust itself.

No. The starter is steel string very similar to the johnson student guitar.I cant tell you the rogues and johnson are the same,but look at them and make up your own mind. Oh by the way, I noticed today that M.f. no longer has the R-090,I think they are slowly replacing them with johnsons,which is to bad for guys like us who dont have alot of money. Wayne,I dont know why they are cheaper,I did restring the starter and it plays great it is smaller but it has a full scale,which is good. it also is more comfortable to hold and play.as far as a new video,I,ll see what I can do.The r-90 is better but the starter is also cool if I were you I would wait for the r-90. but you never know you might like the starter. the starter guitars are still 40, but the RA 090 is 49$ now. so now i'v got to spend 10$ more and wait 3 months. and there is a reason why the starters are cheaper and come in 5 colors. so i would love to hear and see the new guitar.
Hi.I know they are 40 bucks now,unfortunatly they are out of them which is bad because some one asked me to make them another video and I cant because my nephew now has the guitar,I did get the starter model in black and after setting it up it plays just about as good thank you for watching The Barron.
Ok.Wayne here goes,The guitar is very similar to the johnson jg-610 It has large brass frets and a maple not rosewood fretboard the difference is maple has a much brighter sound also the neck on this guitar is amazing its one of the best necks I have ever played on. trust me this guitar is much better than the sa-100,I know I have both. i just turned 16 and am saving up to buy an acoustic, I see the rogue 090 for 39$ on musiciansfriend. its a beautiful instrumentand and at a price i can afford. i have read every review on the web, but this is the only video. i was wondering if you are going to post a another video that shows the 090 in action.

@yairapagan No,la guitarra tiene un sonido muy limpio y un volumen muy fuerte debido a que esta hecha de madera blanca. ademas con musicians friend si hay algun defecto o algo ellos estan dispuestos a devolverte el precio de la guitarra o enviarte una nueva,con esta compania esto nunca ha sido un problema,llevo mucho tiempo comprando mi equipo con ellos.

the austin bazaar looks great but got some 5 star reviews some bad ones and its
60$ add a stand and new strings and its more like 75$, so maybe, maybe not.
i have never played guitar so do you think the starter guitar is good for a bigginner like me.

My sister has a fender squier Sa100 acoustic and it was 100$ at guitarcenter
it is a amazing acoustic but out of my price range.
luckily the rogue is just right so any specs or another video would help alot
