  • You said none of your parts melt like a lot of the reviews say, So i think they have changed parts on this grill but they should have changed the model number, So what is your model number? this would help me out a lot!

  • Just bought it & watched this video before I even took it out of the box...thanks for posting

  • The Match Light Chain is to be storaged in a hole on the front leg. Facing the grill the hole is on the front left. Life is great!

  • Thank you, in talking about this with a friend. The words, it is to hold your match if needed. Wow go figure (Match Light Chain )!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I enjoyed your video, however what is the Match Light Chain used for? Also my chain is hanging, what is the attachment steps. Thanks

  • @CTU2014 I wish I could tell you, I have no idea.

  • I have had mine for two years and iI use mine for camping and at home as my grill...with the change out tops its just great. I used mine at least 50 times..and still perfect,,Just saying

  • @Midwestevilmonkeys whats different about the tops? I want to buy one of these but I don't want to buy one where the parts melt like a lot of reviews say

  • Nice video review, Ive had mine for about three months now. I like the grill and I use it mainly for home use due to its small space requirements. The only thing Id add is the recommendation to slide out both of the plastic trays prior to cooking on the grill. I too have accidentally cooked with the trays still under the grill but prolonged use will result in them melting. Thanks again!

  • seasoning a steak is better it gets more char and better flavor

  • Just bought the Paul Jr design one for $150. A steak will be the first think imma cook on it. It'll be a good idea to put foil under the grills so it won't leave no mess. That's what I did for my other small grill.

  • @Rohloffp Was a big steak haha.

  • Good review. Just bought it

  • How Long have you had this grill? i just bought one and now is seeing bad reviews, and about how many times do you use it a year?

  • @Rybush06 I've had it for a year. I've used it a total of about 15 times. 10 times for the Redskins tailgates and then about 5 other times for just grilling some stuff with friends. Have found no problems with it yet and everything still works perfectly fine.

  • Your right, not many reviews on grills like this. Good job. I'm looking for info on a small Kuuma brand grill that I saw at the boating supply store. It uses custom TraxsTech mounts to attatch to the side of the boat and uses the same gas pints. Seems like it might be to small to do anything more than 1 or 2 hamburgers though.

  • Thanks for posting this. I have been researching this grill online for a while, but was never able to find a "true" demo. Would you recommend lining the grill with aluminum foil to facilitate easier clean-up? What's the average cook-time on some of the larger/thick items? (i.e. steaks, ribs, chicken, etc...)

  • @pjnash01 You can try that, I don't mind the cleanup so I don't bother, but I don't see why that wouldn't work at all. We've only done hamburgers, hot dogs and steak so far and they cook real fast. The burners take maybe 30 seconds if that to heat up. That steak there took me about 15-20 minutes to cook I believe (cooked high at first to brown the outside then low to not burn it). Some people have said cooking with the top closed melts the plastic, but we haven't had that problem.

  • @CanonKielHD Very helpful, thanks again!!

  • Thank you for doing this review, because the internet is overloaded with information on this grill and it is hard to determine what is true or false. You do mention that grease does get around the burner, so is it possible to line aluminium foil around the burner? Also have you seen the Paul JR design, if so did you notice a major difference in the quality of the materials the grill is made of? Lastly where did you purchase your grill? Thanks!

  • @corbetj1 The grease doesn't get on the actual burner, but rather just on the silver area underneath, the area around it, which is expected. I mentioned it because you do want to clean it once you get home or are done using it.

As far as the Paul JR all I believe the difference is, is the silver/chrome they've added, otherwise they appear to be the exact same grill, BTU and everything else, but I could be mistaken about that. I bought the grill at a local place called BJ's, much like CostCo.
