  • when my house got broke into i thought i'd get a cctv camera system installed by the best. paid ADT £1500 deposit and owed them £2000 to pay after install. instead of 2/3 days install took 2 weeks.A camera was not working so after abut 20 calls and 10 months later they move the camera and instead of an apology they send me to court. Most definitely the worst company i have ever dealt with. so many verbal promises that were all broken. i c y we cant comment on their you tube page. STAY AWAY!!!

  • Few years ago when I moved to the apartment-I had a weird feeling like some one-(that don't syposs to snoop)-I had a feeling like I been watched in every move-but I didn't have ides how they are doing it-(few years-ago)-I have few versions of how they are doing it but I wanted to know exactly-WEB-CAM-SPY-CAN WATCH EVERY MOVE IN YOUR OWN HOME AND APARTMENT-(That how Jews -RUSSIAN-FAMILY-MAFIA )-TAKE-OVER EVERYTHING-& U-WONDER HOW THE H...L YOU-END-UP-LOOSING-ALL- HOUSE CAR AND BELONGING!!!!!

  • ADT sells nanobots that swarm all over your house...how cool is that?

  • this is a ademco system pure junk , pull the power , press # plus star while you power back up and you are now in the installers setup , press star 21 enter 21 enter now the phone number is remover , star 43 to remove the account number same as 21 , panel is 100% junk

  • I figure that if ADT can't figure out simple things like "put me on your don't call list", when you've not only pressed the button when they robodial you, but also talked to their supervisor in person the NEXT time their telemarketers spam you, that they're probably not going to be any use responding to alarms. Do they know my phone number in their alarm system, but not in their telemarketing database? Pretty incompetent!

  • Some foreigner who can BARELY speak english understandably keeps calling my house 5 times a day DEMANDING that I take his "safety" survey. I googled the number and found that it's ADT doing strongarm telemarketing in disguise.

I would never have an ADT security system anyway. My home security needs are met by Smith & Wesson, Mossberg, Winchester, and Colt.

  • @junior2004hasz Yeah good luck with that bro who is going to shoot the burglar that comes in to your home? THEY PURPOSEFULLY COME WHEN YOU'RE NOT HOME MORON. Your guns will be stolen and used in crimes you jackass moron. Gun owners above all else should secure their homes.

  • @BlitzGaulAgain Not sure what I did to you to enrage the "jackass moron" diatribe. My point was that ADT will only call the police a bit faster than you might be able to yourself, but if a murder-intentioned psychopath breaks into your home, you'll be dead by the time the cops get there.

If someone comes while I'm NOT home (which is rare because my wife and I work from home and are always there) - anything stolen can be replaced. Can't replace PEOPLE but can replace THINGS.

  • @junior2004hasz ADT gets there quick....a 230 grain hollowpoint gets there quicker.

  • ADT is a tyco company that doesn’t give a shit about their employees, they treat us like crap. When you buy an ADT product or service your money goes strait overseas to massive investors who don’t give a shit where it came from or the inhumane treatment ADT employees receive from their employer’s. . . NZ

  • @formula22000nz They are at Tyco company? Run by that freakin' crook? No wonder they treat you like shit...they need to embezzle more.

  • hahahahaha that call center is so for real

  • "thekooldude215" - your "ADT ALARM" did not scare anyone off. A 95db peizo-electric siren scared them off. If I had a 95db ringer on my phone, I would hurry up to answer it if it rang. After I changed my shorts.

  • @ALARMSLSMAN I have three ADT-RC7 Sirens in my home that are earsplitting I think it is very obvious that the siren scared them off but it is important to have had adt dispatch the police and have them close my front door to prevent someone else from just walking in.

  • NOT TO DEFEND ADT...but...From what I KNOW...you're lucky if Brinks/BroadView; soon to be ADT anyways...is even up and running. Years ago, when a hurricane was hitting FLORIDA, Brinks' ONE monitoring center in DALLAS was down because of signal overload. Took 2 days to fix! And for those 2 days all of their customers...HAD NOTHING. Things like that don't happen with ADT or ProtectionOne. They are the only ones with 4(adt) to 5(p1) multiply redundant monitoring centers.

  • @ALARMSLSMAN And doesn't brinks have another monitoring center in tennessee along with the one in dallas.

  • I have never heard of a 45 second response in the 7 years I worked for them. Their systems take 30 secs. to compile the event, 20-30 secs. for them to receive and review, and then 20-30 secs. for them to reach you to verify. The only time it will be faster is if you are doing a straight COMMUNICATIONS or SIGNAL TEST. This would be in the realm of 45-60 secs still; it just bypasses compiling because there is NO EVENT. All of this is assuming nothing is wrong with your phone line; like being cut.

  • @ALARMSLSMAN I had my dialer delay disabled years ago and I have a telguard cell backup if my phone lines are cut.

  • Try having a billing issue and want support from a local rep. The typical version of customer services issues goes, something, like this. SCENE - You call the 800# to ask for resolution of your issue, they tell you that you will need to deal with the local office. You call the local office OR 800# transfers you. You tell the local rep what your issue is. They tell you, you will need to call the 800#. You call the 800# OR they transfer you locally...and so on and so on and so on...made me sick!!!

  • From what I hear, you're lucky if ADT even bothers calling your or the police when an alarm goes off. Apparently their monitoring reps would rather eat their sandwich than respond to an alarm. Honestly they're getting worse than Monitronics.

  • They normally call within 45 secounds.

  • @BrinksGuyOnYT You are an ignorant swine. ADT secures 7 million homes in the US (roughly 1 out of 3 home security systems), over 90% of the Fortune 500 companies, and is the only company that the government will contract with. You think that ADT hires people that would rather eat a sandwich than do their job? Do you think that a Fortune 500 company would tolerate that? The government? Please. No matter, your sh*t company will cease to exist on May 15, 2010. Good luck with the job hunt!

  • @BlitzGaulAgain If by ignorant you mean going by what their customer's say about their service, yes. As for government contracting, it's because they worked out the cheapest contract. As for their number of customers - any Tom, Dick or Harry can open an ADT franchise. I have 3 of them within 20 miles of my home. Broadview doesn't allow that with their businesses.

As for "my company" to cease to exist, I highly doubt that. They are very much still around, and I don't work for them, btw.

  • @BrinksGuyOnYT And as for the "franchises," both ADT and Brinks have authorized dealer programs. These companies are not ADT nor Brinks. ADT authorized dealers pay ADT to do the monitoring. This does not make them ADT. That being said people are a lot better off going with an ADT authorized dealer than with Brinks proper. Brinks installs USED equipment. You most likely have a security system that they took out of someone else's home after they canceled their service. LOL enjoy!!

  • @BlitzGaulAgain It sounds like you were being overly defensive about something so meaningless. Perhaps you know their service isn't that great and just don't like people pointing it out? It's the only thing I can think of, especially with you making out-of-this-world bogus claims that Broadview will magically disappear in 2 days and all of their millions of customers will be left in the dark and knew nothing about their security company vanishing with no notice.

    Have a nice day.

  • @BrinksGuyOnYT HAHAHAHA LOL!!!!!!!! TYCO acquired Brinks on May 15th. Brinks is folding in to ADT. Have you received your ADT signs in the mail yet? LMFAO. And ADT is the opposite of cheap. ADT has the highest prices in the whole market both for install and for monitoring. Brinks routinely undercut ADT by 50% or more on the installation. You are simply ignorant, which is typical of Brinks customers. By roughly September you will not see anything regarding brinks security.

  • WARNING: Don't waste your money with these scam artist. They're not honoring my contract; adding 18 months to my plan, while at the same time raising my monitoring costs. Customer service sucks; the reps only know how to read from scripts. Total bullshit!

  • ADT's Alarm once scared off a burglar at my old house

  • I had to break it to the mom who knows her children are safe but a child molester could still get into her house, abduct the children, and take them away before the police were even contacted.
