  • One of the best scene in movie history. And even today the bad guys make the same mistake.

  • life truth!

  • (0:35) Gangsta style!

  • Eli Wallach just owned all the villans of the james bond movies

  • Tuco sleeps with a pillow under his gun.

  • Hell, EVERY Movie Villian needs to take notes.

  • Bond Villains Better Be Watching...

  • Tuco's reaction to any anime.

  • 3 persons talk before shooting

  • u forgot the most important part: DAM DAM DAM

  • It's been 45 years now, and they still didn't learn a thing.

  • best quote ever

  • One of my favorite scenes ever- it is a good motto for life too- don't talk about what you want to do, do it- Tuco is one of my favorite characters ever

  • Happy Birthday Eli ( Tuco ) wallach!

  • This should be the motto of the porn industry

  • Tuco was the first gunslinger to wield the revolver like a gangsta.

  • Tuco was the first gunslinger to wield the pistol like a gangsta.

  • Tuco shot first.

  • 3 people talked too much at the worst moment

  • I guess Tuco learned a lesson from all the times he talked to Blondie instead of shooting him. :)

In my opinion, Eli Wallach was the real star of this movie. His character may not have been as charismatic as Clint Eastwood's, but he was more complex, he had more obstacles to overcome, and he had a lot more spirit. Plus he was a badass in his own right.

  • Jason Becker quoted this x)

  • is that the guy from the beginning of once upon a time in the west ?

  • 3 people talked

  • Take notes, han solo ...

  • James Bond disliked this

  • "when you hafta shoot, shoot. don't talk" killer line!

  • All that time learning to shoot with the left........for nothing.

  • Either he's dead or my watch has stopped.

  • Oh Joy and rapture!!! Tuco's famous line at the end is definitely one of my top 3 movie quotes of all time!! THANKS VERY MUCH FOR POSTING!!! super ugly white guy (what am I saying? Nearly everyone in this movie. except for Clint, Eli, and Lee Van Cleef, is ugly. That is one thing that made this movie so realistic!!) starts his speech with "I've been waiting 8 months for this moment ...." or something like that. Instead of shooting. Tuco gives him his final lesson. I just wish the music finished

  • One of the best scenes of all time!

  • words to live by

  • Should be mandatory viewing for every villain in every movie, ever.

  • @latinoheat300 Tuco wasn't really a villain though.

  • @LeilaniLad I didn't say he was.

And in any case, that torture by thirst was a pretty shitty move.

  • Yeah!..... the fucking TUCO is my HERO.....

    Viva Mèxico cabrones!!!

  • man for a second there i though he shot him with his dick....

  • Hindsight is 20/20 Hewlett Packard: Even So, You Blew It

  • tuco shoot first

  • Excellent!

But I wish the idiot were still alive to hear Tuco's speech and then Tuco finishes him off with a final shot.

  • @robertgift that's the whole point, he's not alive because he talked first.

  • To: KriegKadaver That's the whole point - the guy lies on the floor wounded, looking at Tuco knowing that he is about to die as Tuco tells him, "When you have to shoot...Shoot! Don't talk.", then fires the final shot.

  • @robertgift he fires, then he tells him...

  • @ljagodz You fire and wound him just as happened.

You school him: "When you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk."

    THEN fire the final shot.

  • @KriegKadaver I don't know, they should change it so that Tuco talks first.

  • Shhhh, you're pointing out a cliché.

  • @unclebud99 ha nice! love The Incredibles.

  • What's the name of the music at the end?

  • @Omarllll The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Ennio Morricone

  • Oh crap, I´ve just had an orgasm...

  • Guy who shoots and don't talk - Angel Eyes.

  • pouce vert si toi aussi tu es arrivé là grâce à Camus du verseau!

  • "You sly dog! You got me monologuing...I don't believe it."

  • Take some notes Voldemort

  • @MrMatto91 harry dresden would kill harry potter

  • Tuco, the greatest villain who ever lived. In film, at least! : )

  • legend

  • This is a lesson for life.

If you cant do it without thinking about it first your are not proficent at it. Now think very carefully about how you drive.....

  • TUCO BENEDICTO PACIFICO JUAN MARIA. YOU THE BEST!!!

  • sadly this dumb cliche is still repeating in movies and TV shows, even in good ones.

  • When you have to shoot, shoot dont talk.

  • I feel bad for this guy

He followed him for eight months

waiting long time to get a good chance to kill him

    Sadly, he get cocky.........

  • brilliant...absolutely brilliant.

  • tuco is the man!

  • thumbs up if "cinemassacre's top 10 movie cliches" brought you here

  • Eli Wallach: Original Gangsta

  • Wise words there, Tuco, lol

  • So thats who Han Solo learned to shoot from LOL

  • i love this part

plus when poor clint 9blondie getting beat up)

  • So ture

  • LOL how do people not get the reverence that leatherbubba made?? thats a hilarious joke btw.

  • Tuco shot first

  • @ThomasIsHome you know in which simpson's episode the comic guy said that? Would love to see it^^ txs in advance :)

  • This is what Obama said after after icin Bin laden

  • Now I know where George Lucas got that from... :-D

  • LET TUCO SEE HIS NAMESAKE

  • Al Mulock, who plays the man with one arm in this unforgettable scene, committed suicide in 1968 while filming Once Upon a Time in the West in Spain...only found this out very recently

  • Only in the movies will a an old six-shooter fire perfectly well submerged under water haha God I miss this time of film making so much. Give me a Fistful of Dollars over the Dark Knight or Battle L.A any day.

  • Now why can't these villains from cinema understand that!?

Or even better, why CAN'T hollywood understand that!?

  • tuco is the real hero

  • "WHEN YOU HAVE TO SHOOT, SHOOT DON'T TALK"

  • Tuco was a hilarious sumbitch such a back stabbing prick but its hard not to like him.

  • I think the best thing is that for the last shot, he holds the gun gangsta style

  • @facecycle he could afford to miss his last shot.

  • The scene is ridiculous when you think about it, but also awesome.

  • The best bad guy ever! What a back stabing dick but i love it

  • CLASSIC! I LOVE IT!

  • Bubble gun.

  • oom whacha saaaay oom that you only meant welll

  • A great rule, it is included in the bulgarian combat manual.

  • Tuco is too vicious here. They should change it to make the other guy shoot first.

  • @Leatherbubba i loled

  • @Leatherbubba Thats o.k. This is not some fairy tale. Tuco IS vicous. Just like Blondie is not just any random good guy. No black and white - good and bad - like todays movies. They are all part good part bad, and sometimes ugly too.

  • @Leatherbubba Well Tuco is a vicious character. Remember when they were hanging him and reading off all of his charges? He like raped and murdered a ton of people. The fact is all three characters are bad. Clint Eastwood is just the lesser of the three, Tuco is in between, and Angel Eyes is the worst of them. They're all bandits and bad people. Some just do it to a different degree than others.

  • @cartagena1994 that list of crimes were made up to raise the bounty as part of Tuco & Blondie's bounty scam thing, they only ever killed & robbed people

  • @props4genu No the bounty was raised because he kept escaping. Those were things that he actually did.

  • @Leatherbubba if a, lets just say a bully, came up to you with a gun, and you had a gun, would you shoot first or would you let him shoot first?

  • @Leatherbubba So you're implying that if an assassin is sent to kill you and he has a gun pointed in your face, killing him would be "vicious" Why are you even watching this type of movie?

  • @preemptivestrike20 Think you missed the joke! Ever seen the Star Wars Special Edition?

  • @Leatherbubba I see some people are not getting the reference.

  • @Leatherbubba You obviously have no idea who Tuco Ramirez is.

  • @Leatherbubba WHAAATTT!!!!!???, your comment and the fact that is the most thumbed up disappoint me. If you were the writer, you would've killed one of the MOST awesome QUOTE LINES and scenes in cinema. I'll explain... A) Leone shows others how's done, the villain does his explaining ego-monologue but got stopped right there by Tuco. B) NO ONE expected that C) The line "If you gonna shoot, shoot, don't talk" ends it masterfully. D) It was 1966!!!, movies today struggle to get that level.

  • @giorgiomx Dude, it's a joke. He's talking about the "Han shot first" scene in the original 1977 Star Wars film, where Han is the only one to shoot. However, in the special editions and dvd trilogy editions, Lucas made Greedo shoot first, to make Han Solo look less vicious. The irony of it all is that the original 1977 scene is clearly a reference to this. So, my question is: why would GL reference a scene that states "when you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk" and then, in the end, change it?

  • @KazeHebi I see, oh well, I guess there's going to be a lot of people who doesn't have any idea what he's talking about. I didn't remember the reference you mention but I checked it, and it's a nerd zone topic, I do like it anyway.

  • @giorgiomx Calm down! it was a Star Wars joke.

  • @Squee36 Yes, they already told me, I'm a nerd on certain topics, not on StarWars, that's why I didn't recognize the reference, interesting though.

  • @giorgiomx You're a fool. You just don't get it.

  • @giorgiomx He's talking about what Lucas made to Han and Greedo "duel"

  • @evandroferreiradanie Yep, didn´t know about that reference, got it, replying here so others can see I got the joke, from Leatherbubba, tnks

  • @giorgiomx I'm pretty sure he's making fun of the "Greedo/Han shot first" thing George Lucas did in his Star Wars movies.

  • Comment removed

  • @giorgiomx

I think the poster is making a joke about how George Lucas changed the original Star Wars so Han Solo wouldn't shoot first, because "it made him too evil." Hehe.

  • @giorgiomx ya.. it's a joke. he's referring to how george lucas changed the scene with han and greedo to where greedo shot first to make han seem less vicious to children.

  • @giorgiomx You know, I HIGHLY doubt he was being serious there.

  • @paleocon23 Yes, I didn´t know he was referring another nerdy stuff about StarWars.

  • @giorgiomx It was a joke referencing Han Solo and Greedo from Star Wars.

  • @Leatherbubba its not star wars not need to give probal cause for the childrens sake.

  • @Leatherbubba well played!

  • @Leatherbubba Haaaaaaa!

  • @Leatherbubba

I don't get it. This is a joke right?

  • @Frondrick

Just google for "Greedo shot first" and you'll get the whole joke.

  • @Leatherbubba i think tuco was just giving his pistol a good polish. maybe he didnt see it coming too.

  • @Leatherbubba I cant wait for the remastered version to come out, and like star wars we'll have shirts saying "TUCO SHOT FIRST!"

  • @Leatherbubba The guy was gonna kill him... lol

  • @Leatherbubba too vicious??? the guy was going to kill him, talked about it in front of tucos face and then made an awful cliche wich tuco gladley pointed out then shot him while proving shoot first then talk

  • Comment removed

  • @Leatherbubba Yo buddy, he's the ugly not the good. Plus Leone was all about taking the romance out of the western genre. It's a lot more interesting than the white-hat black-hat trope of the early westerns.

  • @Leatherbubba they should change nothing, this film is holy like the bible

  • @Leatherbubba When you have to watch, watch, don't type..

  • @Leatherbubba lol

  • Comment removed

  • two words: Complete Badass.

  • 0:33 gangster style lol great movie

  • Apparently all the scenes were shot silently, and then dubbed over... But these two are perfectly syncronised....

  • @magnolia...3:10 to yuma from 07 was a respectable western. esp w/ ben foster as russell crowe's lieutenant

  • How'd his gun work after soaking in a tub? I'm pretty sure the powder would be useless.

  • @rexthebarker

I don't see any water dripping off the gun, which probably means he was only hiding it under the bubbles, not under the water. Even if it was, it would've only been submerged for a few minutes, and bullets are probably watertight enough that the powder would still be dry.

  • 3 men talked

  • 3 one armed men disliked this.

  • The actor playing the one armed character was in 'Once Upon A Time In The West' - he played one of the trio who met 'Harmonica' at the railroad station - only to be blown away again!

  • @gurneyer= His name wa Al Mulock, and He was Canadian. Tragically, he took his own life on the set of One Upon A Tim In the West.

  • Oy vey caramba!

  • Greedo Obviously saw this movie before he went to see Han in the Special Edition.

  • Sergio Leone made classic trilogy. These films are unique cause keep getting better and better with every new film. The Good The Bad & The Ugly is pure masterpiece. All the actors did a brilliant job but Clint Eastwood and Eli Wallach were special. Nowadays they don't make Real Westerns like this one. Modern Hollywood films are useless remakes, stupid rip offs, crappy sequels etc - No creativity/class at all

  • Seriously maybe the greatest line in movie history. Funny but also true, done way too much in movies, that the bad guy talks.

  • The name of the movie should be The Good, the bad and Mexican! not the Ugly.

  • @braven117 Heh, you know Eli Wallach was a Jew raised in Brooklyn?

  • @wisdomcube316 Yes, i know !

  • George Lucas couldn't have picked a better scene to rip off.

  • How awesome is Tuco? So awesome that he has the power to shoot bullets out of his cock! Tuco is one of my favorite movie characters in history. Eli Wallach did such a great job.

  • lol it's awesome to see a movie that actually recognizes this cliche.

  • @Dgamer21 How do you feel about the Star Wars prequel trilogy?

  • @MaadDawg1 What do you mean?

  • This is terrible...why didn't Leone make a recut with the one armed man shooting first? Tuco isn't some criminal thug...

  • @Harvest8888 (lol) Because Sergio Leone isn't a noob.

  • @Harvest8888 He wasn't a saint either. You seem to mistake Tuco for the hero or something. Lucas did it and it failed on a massive level.

Though I'd definitely want a shit that says "TUCO SHOT FIRST!" though :D

  • @Harvest8888 Uh, yes he is.

  • @Harvest8888

Because the idea was to make clear that the cliche of the villain talking instead of finish the victim is ridiculous. Simple and smart: When you have to shoot, shoot... Don't talk

  • i think tuco is my favorite character in the movie,he is a hustler almost gettn killed but always find some way to wiggle his way out of it,a true surviver,,lol,,,,

  • When you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk GREEDO.

  • He shouldnt talk ! He never shot blondie

  • @jpkillah i totally agree but blondie ruled and thumbs up if you think blondie was the best (:

  • 0:39 hes got a point

  • greatest film of all time.

  • James Bond's villains can learn A LOT from this guy.

  • @victoneter Oh yeah. All of them.

  • Don't you just want Ennio Morricone in the background whenever you say something?

  • When you have to shoot, shoot! Don't talk.

  • 0:06-0:08 Best facial expression ever caught on tape.

  • When you have to drink, drink, don't talk

    MALT LIQUOR

  • Ahhhh... one of the greatest moments in film history. Long live tuco!
