I think it's interesting that both Brian Giles and Adrian Gonzalez are featured in this video. They are two of the most underrated players of the last decade (and Giles is one of the most underrated of all-time, could even be a Hall of Famer someday).

There are many players of the last 20 years that have a ton of people that want them to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and a great majority of those players are inferior compared to Giles. A batting line of .291/.400/.502/.902 clearly beats out a batting line of .317/.388/.459/.847 and an OPS+ of 121, right? Well, the first batting line belongs to Brian Giles and the second belongs to Derek Jeter. That's just one superstar that Giles was equal to or better than.

Also forgot to mention that Giles' OPS+ is 136. Giles' EqA is also .312, compared to Jeter's .302. Giles was also better defensively, although comparing shortstop to outfield is apples and oranges.

Plus, Giles had the misfortune of playing most of his years in Pittsburgh, which you know nobody paid attention to then. He also played for Cleveland, which does not have a huge market. Then San Diego, where just about everyone not named Trevor Hoffman has been underrated in some way.

on ps2 you can. when your near the wall ( when touching basicly) you push the left analog stick up to jump. you cant really climb like kenny lofton but you jumo to rob homers. i dont know about psp or ps3

How does hitting work in this game? Do you have to aim where the ball goes, or do you just hit a button for contact and power?

well you time your swing and when you feel you will make good contact you press either x for contact or square for power

no you have a better chance of getting a hit if you guess the pitch with the r2 l2 buttons but you don't have to aim the analog stick it was confusing to me because i usually played 2k baseball until they started making complete crap
