I have used this phone for over a year love the flashlight. Great reliable phone outstanding battery life. Wish the MP3 player had more features. Basic MP3 sound is awesome put playlist feature not working.

@KingVashan1367 im not sure about this phone but the rugby 2 isnt that good i had the first version and my brother got the rugby 2 and he dented his speaker and has been having problems with it and my original is way more durable ive accidently left it in my pocket and went swimming and noticed after twenty minutes its been runover and fallen out of my pocket fourwheeling and he dropped his and dented the speaker

I got this a month ago and absolutely love it! The menus are easy to navigate, very intuitive design and really simple to use. I have an 8GB card in it now for ringtones and mp3s. Excellent speaker phone and the volume is really hot on this. The screen is also very bright and clear. LED flashlight is extremely useful and the battery life/standby time is insane. Without a doubt, the most durable/quality phone I have ever owned and not that expensive.

The only problem is that it's a SamSUCK! I went through three different SamSUCK cellphones. The firmware was always flakey. Incomplete, because they want to keep coming out with new models, and get them to market, Who cares about having stable firmware!

@ Bugstomper2 I guess someone out there will always find a reason why a phone sucks LOL The firmware on mine is fine. I will say that Samsung phones are a pain in the ass when it comes to thrid party apps. So if your the kind of person that likes to upload their own personal themes , games and other software from mobile websites then I suggest that you stick to Nokia phones , they're much more accepting of unsigned software.

they should just put like a rubbery material on the corners of all phones cause it sucks when u drop it and for some reason always drops on the corners

Well, I think bar phones are going to be stronger in general just because of the lack of a hinge. In the Samsung Rugby, that hinge was a weak spot in an otherwise tough device. Based on what I've seen so far, I think the a657 would beat the Tundra in a fight....

The original G'Zone was really tough, but the newer models are not nearly as so. Their water seals are not as good.
