For those unaware of the backstory to this clip, apparently one year at the Aspen Comedy film festival (where Bob and David were performing) some guy who farted on stage became the smash hit of the festival, whereas all the real writers and comics who put tons of effort into going and putting together routines and shorts,etc. got marginalized in favor of the farting guy.
The jingle that Cross sings is so spot on - the satire is so good as you can just hear that cheesy melody and lyric combination used for any shitty sitcom nowadays...
