It was satire, for sure, but the critics of this piece miss the point entirely. It's not about Ron Paul. It's about arbitrary enforcement of laws and regulations. Something like this happens in many cities including Columbia, South Carolina. In a broader sense, it's about something more sinister: using the law to destroy justice.
