The people who bought Rachel Alexandra bought her to breed with Curlin as soon he she stops racing most likely next fall they will be breed, of course that doesn't mean he won't be breed with many, many others.

Nicanor WAS going to race triple crown but it seems like he won't be til after the derby right FanOBarbaro...I'm soo eager to see Nicanor race....I just know he'll be his brother's practicly twin unless something else goes wrong but I'm not counting on that. :(

That horse is gorgeous. What a build all his muscles WOW!. Do racehorses always need like 10 leadropes around their faces like in their mouths, are they really uncontrollable? It seems a little excessive.

they arent leadropes lol its a bridle that helps control them if they throw their head or anything. it might also be a racing bridle. we have an ex-racehorse at our barn and he is pretty calm lol

They are chain leads that are connected to his halter but they put it in their mouth too. Like the first picture. And the picture with two people leading him, it shows one his in his mouth and one how you'd put on one.

lol sorry a little exaggeration. I didn't know if the horse really needed one chain in their mouths and one on normally, if they're that uncontrollable or wired.

it is only a halter over the bridle so they can take the halter off when he is ready to race. The chain is just for a little more control- look how muscled he is!! they have very strong heads but the lips are more sensitive.

The black band going in a figure 8 over his nose is actually rubber that u twist onto their nose attached to an adjustable leather strap that goes over their poll ....

I use it on my jumper so he doesnt open him mouth wen i pull and ignore the bit ..

it has nothing to do with leading him

i can answer ur question! lol race horses are CRAZY. it doens matter if mare or stallion or even a gelding they are NUTS. they have the chains to stop them from rearing or jumping up ontop of u and basiclly killing u . turst me after being locked up a whole day in a stall and being feed energy boosters. i would be excited and wanting to run and buck. it for saftey for the handlers.

haha well I mean I know they wanna preserve their energy for the races but I do have to admit that's kinda mean.
