i got mine for free from the fido points so, i was happy and they sent it RIGHT on the launch day. The courier actually asked if i could unbox the phone at my door steps and i did.

over here in Ottawa one store opened at 8am.. people started waiting in line abt 10 am the day before the launch and a some people that were ahead in the line sold their spots!! the most expensive spot was sold for 350$ as far as i heard ! crazy eh! the phone is already sold out !!

Yesss. Rogers should go out of business. They are the biggest ripp off ever and they do not deserve a penny. with 3 year contract they are selling the iphone 3g for $584.92 and than you have to pay for shytty data plan every month for 3 years. if you get the iphone from rogers, all i can say is that you are stuck with that iphone for 3 years and draining all your hardd earn money to rogers

agree 100% rogers is ripping Canadians off for way too long. they have highest prices in the WORLD and the most unusual plans that don't exist anywhere in the world not even in a country with population of less then 5 million. please DON'T buy anything from Rogers get educated more about how crazy they are ripping you off.

wow...fuck rogers i still have my 1st gen iPhone i really see no point in having a 3/year contract with rogers and pay an extra $30 for a 6GB data plan i think alotta canadians didn't care is because alotta ppl like me already have the 1st gen iPhone UNLOCKED & to save money we just use the wifi to browse the net for FREE!! don't bother with the rogers plan...just get yourself the 1st iphone & pop in ur rogers or fido simcard

The major phone company that monopolies the cell phone industry along with Bell and Telus, all have plans that are made for people that can spend 120 bucks on a PHONE a month, thats soooo much money a year to be just giving away,while home phones are only still like 20 bucks for everything. Its not "getting rediculous" it already is by a long shot.

its cuz rogers gives us the shitest plans that comes with iphones...somewhere around 60-120$ a month!! im guessing a lot are protesting against it. if apple wants us canadians to use their products, they should tell rogers to lower their price plans

ohh don't even get me starter brother I have had bad experiences with these A$@*%S, they suck but I do however blame it on the Government too for not letting the competition get in and not regulating the prices to match the world at least, well I guess they get paid by rogers too. sadly many Canadians don't know how bad they are getting ripped off, fortunately I have visited many countries and I know how the service and prices are compare to what we get here so it gets frustrating :(

Their fake "do not call list" is so stupid... They sell the numbers you signed up for to americans... The telemarketing thing only applies to Canada... So they sell it to those american "survey" companies.
