Knowledge filtration is embarrassingly widespread among the scientific community. They are as dogmatic as neo-classic forms of religion. (2) Won't help. The reptilian issue is, i think, widely misunderstood. Although when i think of Arizona Wilder, i tend to get sceptical about my own scepticism.

The Basal ganglia (reptillian brain) was once believed to be the dominant force in reptile and avian forebrains, the "base brain" so to speak; the limbic system and neocortex were added to the forebrain as evolution progressed, and more complex species (mamals) evolved.

Reptilian brain concept was started by Paul MacLean. It is based on the "evolution" fraud. No surprise then that Obama is referring to it and that no one on the View is challenging him about the accuracy of it. There is no evidence that we came from reptiles. The whole hypothesis was rejected as it should have been.
