  • Your version takes too much cooking, I prefer the one shown by greenplasticsnet, which showed only household ingredients... which I think you used, but gave the chemical names only. But they only cooked it once: it was as easy as cooking blancmange.

  • Can it proof the water ?

  • waaaawoooooooo......awsummmmmm.....i lvu iiiiit.........

  • WHOA

    POTATOES

  • Can anyone share some info on the chemical reactions?

    (C6H10O5)n + HCl(aq) + C3H5(OH)3(aq) -> ?

The video is great but not all that educational if the chemistry isn't explained.

  • @pidos847 you are misinformed, hemp is illegal because big paper industries were losing obey to natural hemp paper and same with auto companies, it coukd be made into lightweight car paneling and seat upholstery etc.

  • no "e" in potato :P

  • Plastics can be made from all kinds of vegetable oils. We do not need to use dirty ass crude oil! Hemp is the most versatile plant on earth, it can make fuel, clothes, paper, plastic, and has even been said to cure some forms of cancer and thats why it's illegal! We should stop using toxic crude oil which polluted the earth and contaminates the planet and start using organic plastics! Lets put the bitch ass oil companies out of business and stop paying $3 a gallon for that toxic shit!!!

  • thanq for uploading the video.. it helped me in my assignment.. :)

  • you can save time by just buying starch powder instead of using potatoes. just putting that out there. thankyou for sharing this video

  • - again the water can be decanted off.

    - if we dry the starch in an over, we get a white powder.

    - to 2,5 gr starch , we add 25 ml of water.

  • Hemp/Cannabis/Marijuana is a far more superior solution! you can make plastics from the oil of the seeds itself, most benefits are that the biological plant can be harvested after few weeks, after weeks, the whole year! needs no chemicals or fertilizers! and give more back to the earth, the it takes away and purify polluted soils!!!

  • @ase010 pototos wont get you put in the slammer though

  • @KaylinJH nice speliing XD

  • i see Stanelco are making this...share price only 0.4p

  • does it need a lot of resources? since such a big potato produces so little plastic? u grated the whole potato, didnt u?

    thanks a million!

  • how long do we have to bake it, please let me know, one more thing just wanted to ask whether its gg to be the same procedure such as putting it in the microwave, if we used just starch thn water, vinegar and glycerin, is it gg to work or its going melt back to original state if put in a microwave?thank you:)

  • bioderadable plastic ryt?

  • Instead of grating the potatoes, you should grind them in a blender. The Grinded potatoes make the plastic studier.
