this has to be one of the best security suites for a couple of reasons,first if its russian created it will be solid and dependable,plus russia does appear to host the most malicious domains in the world so understandably the russians felt the need to create a strong product.its the only product i would consider buying .

i have used kaspersky and NOD32,and i still prefer NOD32.But this is my opinion of course.

They do not do whitelist based on filenames. Indeed hashes. If you infect a trusted application its MD5 changes and detected.

Hah, got to love all of these AV companies talking about "white-listing technology", first step in many to completely control PCs and eliminate competitors. White-listing isn't even going to work, simply because it is easy to just infect trusted applications, and it also shows the complete incompetence from these moronic yahoos who can't just develop an effective AntiVirus that detects based upon behavior.

kaspersky saved my comp, accidently downloaded that mirar shit, got spammed with pops. made it to the microsoft website for the one live scan and fixed the spam pop up problem (a million pop-ups later). but it couldnt clear Mirar from my IE bar so i tried to find more specific programs for such things, fell into the the rogue anti spyware trap, looked reputable, noobs learn the hard way. educated myself, happened across kaspersky, totally cleared my comp syphillus

you can't anymore...i have ask the kaspersky people themselve and they say nobody can generate Kaspersky activation key anymore. They will check the integrity and everything about the code and will get blacklisted.

Well that key is from kaspersky too not generated using key generator or something. It is real from kaspersky.
