davies bros have got two 7800 harvesters and a 6910 for a back up got about 26 tractors and twenty boys full/part time and casual drivers big outfit

i was looking in one of the riverlea roundup book let and graham parke is in it, it talked about the deal he did that swapped 5 new hollands for 3 mtx 120's and 2 mtx 150's ,

i bet dave hill would be in a good mood if he saw that jd on demo haha

He's now swaped 2 mtx 120's for 2 tm 155's and 2 mtx 150's for 2 claas ares 697, and swapped a fx 50 forager for a claas 900.

didnt the mtx's perform well then?? made a good choice to go back to nh though,where did he get the tm's from then? gwili or je lawrance ?

what the class like then ? as ive only sat in them at riverlea in whitland and havnt seen any about

the mtx's were not to bad as far as i know anyway,he got the newhollands from lawrence. the class is a very nice machine to drive seriously comfortable but abit gutless.

graham parkes is the contractor, and this john deere is a demo he had, hes got 2 newholland harvesters but has resently swaped one of them for a claas jaguar 900.

by the way i know of davies brothers, they've got a lot of decent kit.

Thats a tm 120. it hasnt got an air intake on the bonet thats just a roll of blue paper towells sdashed in between the wenscreen and the dash.just out of quriosity, if u live by huw and lyn davies do u know of a farm called Asgood??

whats the tm like ? we had a 130 when our ford 8210 started knocking the tm was a nice machine but it had the basic gearbox and wasnt that good for the tarrup 10x forager as one gear was to fast and the other was to slow

I help him out carrting in the summer with my tm and trailer.ive got two tm's now. im quite pleased with them, both have the range comand gearbox were you have buttons to change gears which is quite cooshy.its a 18x6 gearbox so i suppose that would have suted better for your forager.they've got plenty of grunt aswell which helps.
