Yeah, about that pinky; i'm told that i am a giveted writer, and yet, i have to park cars for a living. My characters invade my every thought, and i don't have time to give them live. Maybe is the universe letting me know that you have more talent on that pinky, which you don't use to play, than i have in my entire body. @bluesbaby8 I lived with my Dad as a teen, and we only had one electric and one acoustic. He bought me a Stevie Ray Vaughan strat as soon as it came out. We paid it off for a long time. They have money compared to how I grew up. I got a guitar so that means I had to live with one pair of pants. It's insane to think of...but music was most important.

Good job......you hit all the notes! Excellent for your age.....work on playing a little looser with some more style.  Sounds like you are sometimes hitting those strings a little hard......and hold out some of the notes and chords just a little more. Like your wrist flicks...lol! Good luck to you!

This lady clearly has talent. But some of the best guitarists have said that they weren't the most talented, they just worked hard. If an average Joe works hard, he can still become quite competent. I think your attitude on this is poor. Can't be the best, don't try?.Everyone has someone they look up to, even the best players I know. I look up to them, they look up to someone else. Don't be so defeatist. Talent makes you learn quicker and easier, that's the main thing.
