BlackBerry trackball button dome replacement tutorial

can you maybe show us what to do when a button just falls off and instead of replacing it just putting it back in? cuz 1 button of my BB Bold 9700 fell off and i dont feel like paying for a completely new keyboard just because of 1 button

Question: My BB Curve 8320 trackball IS responding but whenever I "push" it (click it), it will not do that "click" sound, it also doesn't feel like a click. It's like a defective key on a PC keyboard....it just doesn' t pop up after pushing it. What exactly should I look for ? What do I have to replace? I appreciate any help!

I saw the video, went to ebay bought the part...and did the swap on my curve 8310....you don't have to disassemble, pop the trackball, peel up the old one, I cleaned the area ...and then pop the new one in...make sure you put the bb on a surface that doesn't rotate (mouse pad works)...Kudos for Mr Cheng--the video, quick delivery on the part all the way from China, because AT&T wants to sell you a new phone, they aren't going to help you....by the way, thetrack ball doesn't come with the button

you would need to buy the little dome sticker. just your trackball alone would not work
