  • I am planning to try this and make it a lifestyle. I have lost 25 pounds and kept it off for three years. My main GOAL is that to feel better. Where can I get a recipe book? Great Video I love your approach.

  • Do you eat raw eggs or just egg yolks? I wasn't sure if there was a concern for biotin deficiency on the Primal Diet from eating the whole egg.

  • Time for a new video ;)

  • @oneclickandclosed - True! Gonna try to get one out soon.

  • In addition to the cut of your jib I likes the chop of your mutton

  • @AColonDashSix - :0)

  • I learned a lot, thanks.

  • Hey Man, Thanks for the video. I have been experiencing digestive problems for all my life but have been able to do everything I wanted to do, so not too debilitating. I have, however, done many diets to correct the issue and have found that raw meat digests better then anything, as you said, and believe it is the appropriate diet for me. I was just wondering what a sample diet would look like for you? Breakfast, lunch, Dinner?

Do you eat veggies or fruit with each or your meals? Or only meat?

  • @kurst77 - Glad you're discovering and getting into the diet. Congrats! I don't eat Br, L and Din. I eat when I'm hungry. A typical day starts with Celery, Parsley, Cucumber juice. Than later maybe pecans, unheated honey and a raw milkshake (milk, egg honey). than a meat meal later and other milkshakes occasionally throughout the day as my body wants. One piece of fruit in the morning only. Fruit "vegetables" with meat (tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, peppers etc).

  • @Rawbase8 Do you do anything for magnesium? A lot of people I know who eat raw paleo criticize the Primal Diet for causing Calcium / Magnesium imbalances.

  • china study.

    DONE.

  • @firehead2591 The China Study has many flaws in it.

  • I'm glad this worked for you. However, there are very few people that can ever stick to a raw food diet.

Paleo is the way to go. Fresh grass fed meats, fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables. Pretty simple really.

  • @Digitalbumpin - It's only as hard to stick to as the person wants it to be. If you believe that raw is the healthiest and you go out of your way to eat fresh food to begin with, why wouldn't you eat it raw. It's actually easier.

  • Hi.Excellent info.I was just wondering how many fruits and veggetables do you have a day?How do you deal with carbs mostly?

  • @radup45 - I eat a piece of fruit a day. Two on a very rare occasion. Just "fruit" vegetable: Tomatoes, avocados, peppers, cucumbers etc.

It's a low-carb diet, but I get most of my carbs from unheated honey.

  • @radup45 - Also green vegetable juices, too.

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing it.

  • You don't look like you're 39. More like 27. Must be doing something right.

  • According to primal diet...

Is dehdrated jerky considered raw meat?

Are dehydrated fruits and veggies considered raw?

  • @theman77777777232 - According to the PD, I don't believe that dehydrated food is considered raw.

  • @theman77777777232 oh my god, my wife made this roast beef today and aside form being a little salty it was a lifetime best. jerky i spit out because it taste like it looks, dried up raod kill scrapped off hot pavement. why do that when melt in your mouth food is around?

  • @AnnaLiviaPlurabelle1 - It's hard for me to say if the PD has had a specific influence on any of those things. I could answer yes to all, I suppose, because it's had an influence on EVERYTHING. My physical, mental and spiritual well being have all been bettered, in large part, by the PD. It is my opinion and experience that raw meat provides health benefits that cooked cannot. I enjoy weight training, basketball, hiking, tennis and other outdoor exercise. Thanks for the questions!

  • You look young and healthy dude. Ima look into this diet. Raw Vegan just made me very anxiety ridden.

  • @steaknkibble i disagree, i think hes very handome and i like his energy. but if hes a werewolf that would be cool too lol ;)

  • @AnnaLiviaPlurabelle1 Primal diet does not equal raw food diet. Cooked meat is fine to eat when on the PD but just know that the more you cook any meat, the less protein it holds.. so rare or medium-rare meat is best, whatever your preference really. I'm not sure if you're joking about the creativity/mental effects of the diet, but if you think about it it must be beneficial. When you are digesting food better, and taking in better nutrients from your food, it would certainly have benefits.

  • Just wanted to say I really enjoyed your humble, open-minded sharing on your own experiences with the primal diet. It is true that raw paleo seems to have a lot less followers than raw vegan. Hope to see more videos up soon!

  • Oh my god, I can't believe you're 39! I clicked on this link thinking "Wow, that's cool , a kid trying out the Primal Diet." The Primal Diet really is the fountain of youth.

  • Hi Malcom and all Emanations of the One. Thanks for this video. I suggest you also check out and search

Sanford Bennett, his book Old Age, its Cause and Prevention. He went from 50 yrs old to where at 70 he was rejuvenated, and he did it through simple exercises under the covers in the morning, not strenuous, but which create the circulation in each part of the body to push out dad cells, thus addressing a cause of aging.

  • was ur face as wide before going on the primal diet?

u look younger than ur age

  • @dromycatcher - Ha! That's funny. Yes it was. Thanks.

  • @Rawbase8 does primal diet have fruit in it

  • @tfrenn all you can eat

  • @tfrenn - Yes, but minimal fruit. One piece a day.

  • @tfrenn - Sorry for the late response. PD has minimal fruit in it . One piece a day.

  • im a gerd sufferer and i was wondering if this diet will help my condition. ive read that some people that have gerd dont have it anymore after doing this diet but i want to know if you know anyone with gerd and if they also chose this diet.

Eating raw meats is no problem for me since ive been eating raw lamb as a small child. (16 now).

  • @69thPredator - I don't know anyone on the diet personally who has had gerd. But, bad digestion goes hand in hand with illness and everyone that I've met on the PD use to have some form on digestive problem on their list of symtoms.

Green vegetable juice (parsley, cucumber, celery) is great for the stomach. It's great for everything else, come to think of it...

Good luck! KIT and let me know how you're doing.

  • hey man , I'm on a high-fat , low-carb diet at the moment . I don't digest raw fruit or veg very well , but I'm intersted in trying some raw meat. Would raw steak be the best place to start?

  • @heltfreek - Start anywhere that appeals to you. I like London Broil/Top Round.

  • How much raw meat recommended to eat each day? In other words, can one eat too much raw meat per day? Every meal or once a day? One pound per day? Is raw beef better than raw eggs?

  • @Entropy56 - I don't make recommendations for other people. That's up to you. I eat about 3/4 to 1lb. a day. Once a day.

Your asking if beef is better than eggs for WHAT?

  • @Rawbase8 Thanks. Ignore the question about eggs...

  • You look lethargic and weird, are you a werewolf?

  • @steaknkibble - Obviously.

  • Hi, great video. I was just wondering if We Want to Live is worth the $30 which is about what I've found it for, or if it contains information that is readily available on the internet? Thanks!

  • @wildfire230 - There is a lot of good info in "WWTL". Especially for specific illnesses/symptoms. Although some of the info is out of date and antiquated, I still find myself referring to it, now and again. "The Recipe For Living Without Disease" is good, too. That's more about raw recipes and answering questions about bacteria and pathogens.

  • is it possible for me to meat you. I am considering easing into a primal diet. Intellectually it makes sense to me but I just cant get through all the notions that I have been given about pathogens. I think it would help me out very much to see for someone who has actually been on it for so long. I know this sounds very very invasive but I would greatly appreciate it.

  • @urazoflaz123 - To be honest, I'm not comfortable meeting somebody off the internet. But I am happy to offer any encouragement and share any experience that I have with you. Feel free to ask any questions or share any experiences here with me and/or everyone else.

  • My personal wisdom as someone who has had success with the primal diet: There is no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There is only hungry and not-hungry! Eat when your body tells you to, not when a clock does. This method gives enough calories without binging.

  • 39? YOU LOOK 25 CONGRATS

  • Hello from NYC! Congrats! Fellow primal here in my 6th year and feeling better everyday! Two problems with this diet(if you're not rich and I'm not!)... Getting the right food(raw dairy products and eggs) and traveling. The latter is pain in the neck! Well... Keep it up!

  • @kelushi - I suppose it depends on your perspective. Trying to eat raw/healthy anywhere is a pain the neck! It requires a good amount of effort. I travel quite a bit and have just made it part of my routine. Some people go to the hotel bar, I go to the health food store....

  • You're too awesome! Where do you get your meats from?

  • You are sincere and humble. Thanks for posting this. I've been on the Primal Diet 90% for 3 plus years. Best way to get in touch?

  • @Bluecollarhealer - Thanks. I appreciate that. Congrats on the diet. Drop me an email through YouTube, anytime.

  • Please get on board to stop S 510 ! It's before the Senate this coming week after thanksgiving. If made into law it will wipe out all small farming in america. Even your own private gardens.

Please look for Dr. Riba, the Natural Solutions foundaction they give all the info.

  • 39 that's fucking awesome. I saw your other videos first and almost choked when you said 39, then I started laughing enthusiastically.

  • Is Dr. Stanley Bass the Doctor you spoke to on Coney Island? I follow him and I find him fascinating. I find this primal diet fascinating. I am eating raw fish and mostly raw food now. I am doing better. However, the grain issue is something I am dealing with now. Quinoa is a very low glycemic grain. I am not into X-ing out every food out there. I am continuing to learn. I am glad this is helping you.

  • @vishuiqual Yes, Dr. Bass, indeed. He's great! Congrats on going mostly raw! Stick with it, you'll be glad that you did!

  • ..39? Dude, you should be a jiggalo!

  • @S4PUSZJN - Ha! Gonna let my wife read that one!

  • 6 months and loving it

  • @Ctupper1990 - Congrats! Keep up the good work!

  • Why is the book so god damn expensive? I'll buy it off you for $10 plus shipping?

  • how old are you?

  • 39?! Im 19 and I look older than you!

  • thx for answering :)

1 more question, how often do you buy meat and how long do you leave it in the fridge? do you have to store it in anything special?

  • @IamMaximilianKohler - It keeps longer if you store it in a closed glass jar.

I buy it twice a week or so. I leave it in the fridge until I've eaten it all. :0)

  • where do you get your milk and meat from?

  • @IamMaximilianKohler - We get meat from Wh Foods or any other heath food store. Milk we get from a farm in PA.

  • @Rawbase8 Another doubt, in your opinion, what kind of animal products are the most nutritious? i cant believe how easy and pleasant is to eat raw organic eggs but i want to eat the best, for example what species and what part of them (blood, liver, kidneys, meat, etc) are more convenient. If you can post that in a video can be cool.

  • @Rawbase8

When you say you buy meat from "Wh Foods", do you mean whole foods? I googled Wh Foods and its a pretty big company selling vegetarian food, but no meats.

  • As if you're 39, come on man, 28 at most.

  • @superheronumber1 - Wanna see my driver's license? :0)

  • @Rawbase8 ok fine, I believe you (reluctantly), but if I were you I wouldn't think of myself as 39, physically you are younger, that's for sure.

  • How often do you eat fish as opposed to red meat and do you eat any fowl? Also do you ever eat previously frozen meat and what are your thoughts on it? I know fresh is better but I'm wondering if freezing it is ok or if its best to avoid it completely.

  • @AuralRawFoodist - I really only eat fish if I go out for Sashimi. Not for any particular reason, I'm just a red meat person. It's what I crave. I do eat chicken from time to time and have had turkey before. I make a mean chicken salad with raw cream, red onion, avocado, lemon juice, tomato and maybe jalapeno pepper. Really good.

No, I don't eat frozen meat or meat that has been previously frozen. Freezing damages food. Not a much as heat does, but significantly enough.

  • @Rawbase8 If you don't freeze it then you just store it in glass jars and let it go bad like Aajonus does? This also means you can't order any meat online and have to find it locally right?

  • @IamMaximilianKohler - I don't freeze anything. I also have never order meat for delivery. I've had 'high' meat a few times, but not on a regular basis.

  • Hey Malcom, just wondering how often do you eat organ meats? And is there any special way you prepare them or anything you eat them with? Also could post the recipe for the tomato avocado sauce you mentioned earlier? It sounds awesome....Thanks.

  • @AuralRawFoodist - I don't eat organ meats very often. Not for any particular reason, I just never got into it. Although I have had liver a few times.

    The tomato recipe is:

    1-2 ozs Olive Oil

    1 whole tomato

Jalapeno peper (to taste, depending on how hot you like)

    1/2 of an avocado

Blend together. I like to leave it slight chunky, so there is some crunch left. Serves 2.

You can also ad - pine nuts, basil, rosemary, sun dried tomatoes etc.

    Enjoy!

  • Dear Malcom,

Aajonus does occasionally recommend some cooked starch for certain conditions and toxicity.

Some people have problems digesting nuts even in the nut formula and find an occasional cooked starch to be helpful.

    God bless you.

  • @BabyKat87 As I understand it, oils, nuts, heated and otherwise adulterated fats are bad for your gall bladder. Fresh raw grassfed fats nourish glands and organs instead of taxing them. Best of luck to you, and keep on researching! It's what led me here.

  • What foods were you bringing at concerts or on tours?

  • @majormark5 - Pretty much the same foods I usually eat. Except maybe the vegetable juice. If there's a bus, then there's fridge on board, which is super easy. Otherwise, I bring a cooler. Meat, milk, pecans, honey, fruit etc. I'm not a huge Whole Foods fan, but they're all over the place, which does make it a lot easier on the road.

  • Two thumbs up on your vid and congrats on your health!

  • Hello, Malcolm! You hit the nail on the head here. There are many many more people doing well on the Primal Diet than ever make any kind of video presence.

I am so glad you took the time to do so. You definitely look well. I will eagerly view any further video presentations from you.

  • Including aspects of the primal diet, saved my life as well. Healed my brain lesions. .... Durian Rider?

  • I would really like to see a video regarding the basics. Also any links to articles and such would be great. Another topic that would be helpful is bacteria/parasite concerns.

  • @dk48rfgj - I'm hoping to post another video soon that goes a bit more in depth into my health crisis and some of the questions on parasites/bacteria.

What would like to hear about, in regards to the "basics"?

  • @Rawbase8 Things like meal plans and some simple examples of how this diet could be more beneficial then others.

  • @dk48rfgj - Well, after 12 years, I must admit that meals can often be fairly simple. I find that, while I still enjoy making interesting meals from time to time, food has definitely become quite utilitarian to me. Aajonus put out a book called 'The Recipe For Living Without Disease" that has some great recipes in it.

  • @dk48rfgj - Someone else asked a ways back what a typical days is for me, food wise:

"A typical day would start with 12ozs of green veg juice. Then, when I'm hungry again, maybe one piece of fruit, pecans with honey and a raw milk/egg/honey "milkshake". Later, another veg juice. A milkshake in the afternoon and a meat meal for dinner.

Usually, I'll make a delicious sauce for steak that is: raw tomato, olive oil, jalapeno pepper, avocado and maybe some pine nuts blended together."

  • @dk48rfgj - The only example I can give here, is how the PD has been beneficial to ME. That is my whole reason for posting here. I'm not interested in arguments regarding diets. I can tell you that I've never felt stronger or more balanced in my life than right now. Both physically and spiritually. Specifically, I've never felt more balanced than when I eat raw meat.

That's all I can do is share my experience with others and let them make their own choices. That's how true learning happens.

  • How did you get rid of your gallstones or do you still have them with this diet? I know this way of eating involves a lot of fat. I too have gallstones and I actually get really bloated when eating too much fat.

  • @BabyKat87 - Unfortunately, I hadn't found raw foods yet and the pain got too bad for too long. So I went in through the emergency room and had my gallbladder removed in early '97. I found and started on the primal diet one year later.

I'm hoping to post another video soon that goes a bit more in depth into my health crisis and some of the questions on parasites/bacteria.

  • @Rawbase8

I thought in the video you said that you walked out of the doctor's office and didnt get your gall bladder removed? You wound up doing it later anyways i guess?

  • Hi there, I also have gallstones and they are really annoying! I want to try this primal diet but I know that there is a lot of fat involved...i'm afraid i'll get really bloated. Do you sill have the gallstones or did you get rid of them some way? BTW I'm 22 and got them from my pregnancy @ 18...so I know how you feel about them, especially at such a young age. I really do want to give this diet a shot though, you're video certainly looks motivating.

  • Go to Daniel Vitalis' website, read "Hunter Safety? ~ Why I am not a Vegan"

  • Thanks Malcom :) Good to hear some of your story. You look good and you speak well. Nice to see someone that is speaking the truth and not just trying to con people and further their agenda. More power to you man!

  • You do look great Mal. The skin and lips are always a good way to tell how Nourished a person is, the lighter the lips the weaker the digestion - Spleen Qi in Chinese Medicine . The shinier and softer the skin, the better the immunity (Wei Qi). Yours looks young and supple. Your demeanor is calm and calming, respectful, content and tranquil. It's funny you mention Arrogance. An undernourished Liver expresses itself as judgement, irrational idealism, fanaticism rage and inflexible attitudes.

  • Rawbase 8 you look awesome for your age mate. One thing of note to me is how calm you are and how clear you seem to be. Good for you!

DurianRider - have you ever done the primal diet? If not, what do you have to compare to?

  • How many hours do you sleep a night?

  • @TheJOE9696 - Usually 8 hrs. Sometimes less. I can feel fairly normal on 4 for two or three days, if I need to. I like to sleep, though! So I'm happy with a good solid 8. Thanks for being in touch.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this video.

  • God you look young for your age!

  • Those enzymes are great for helping digest, assimilate and utilize protein. Diabetics, hypoglycemics and infants can not utilize honey if the insulin-like substance is destroyed but can eat and benefit from UNHEATED honey.

Just like lactose "intolerant" can not only tolerate but digest RAW milk. It's really cool how mother nature knows better. Eat it like it is, don't proses anything! By the way thank you for posting the video. Great to hear your testimony! (can't believe you are 39!!)

  • @quinzoto Umm..... Many many people (including me) have problems with RAW dairy as well!

  • Those enzymes are great for helping digest, assimilate and utilize protein. Diabetics, hypoglycemics and infants can not utilize honey if the insulin-like substance is destroyed but can eat and benefit from UNHEATED honey.

  • Great point about the honey. This is what Aajonus claims: First of all the difference between "honey", "raw honey" and "unheated honey". Honeys labeled "raw" or "uncooked" can be heated to 160F, witch turns it into radical sugar. Honeys labeled "unheated" can't be heated over 92.8F. Unheated honey contains an insulin-like substance produced by bees when collecting the nectar. That insulin-like substance once in the body converts 90% of the carbohydrate in nectar into enzymes.

  • Those enzymes are great for helping digest, assimilate and utilize protein.

Diabetics, hypoglycemics and infants can not utilize honey if the insulin-like substance is destroyed but can eat and benefit from UNHEATED honey.

  • Its funny that AV and his loyalists follow this extreme path and claim that fruit has too much sugar in it when honey is like 82% sugar by weight and the most sugar sweet, seedless melon is around 6% sugar by weight.

Bananas are 20% sugar by weight. ALL fruit has soluble fibers like pectin and guar to slow the sugar release. Refined sugars like honey have no real amounts of fiber in them, hence causing stress on the endocrine system long term.

  • I think we would all agree heat and/or cooking damages all food. Thereby making it less healthful. No? Also making ANY tests or statistics posted regarding that cooked food irrelevant in regards to raw, unheated foods.

That being said, you have to realize that cooked honey has become radical, refined sugar. Far different from what it once was when it was unheated and straight from the hive, so to speak.

  • Sugar without fiber is 'refined sugar' and the body needs fiber to slow down the release of sugars. Pectin and Guar are the most gentle of the fibers on the human body. Animal products contain zero fiber. Honey has trace elements of fiber.

What we find is when people undereat on fruit, they go to refined sugars like honey, agave, corn syrup, molasses etc to get some carbs that way. If you didnt eat honey each day Mal, youd crash hardcore from glycogen deficiency.

  • Not true.

I've gone as long as two weeks with absolutely no honey and noticed no change in energy. When I go with raw animal fat (longest one week), I notice a remarkable difference).

I've check 5 online definitions of "refined sugar" and they all say this: Noun1.refined sugar - a white crystalline carbohydrate used as a sweetener and preservative

Don't sound like honey to me.

To say that "sugar without fiber is refined sugar", is to not know the differences between sugars.

  • All due respect Harley, but I don't comment on things I don't really know a whole lot about just to try and prove my point or opinion. You do that a lot and I might suggest NOT doing that in the future.

That being said, I will research exactly why unheated honey is a much safer sugar for the body than fruit in large amounts and get back to you.

  • That should read, "when I go WITHOUT raw animal fat..."

  • so we got 12oz of veg juice. Thats about 55calories for breakfast.

Mal, how much of the other stuff you eat on a typical day. ie: how much animal flesh you like to eat a day, how much milk, eggs, fruits and nuts. Do you eat like 30 bananas in a day or 1-2 and are they green. Do you eat 4lbs of steak a day or 2ounces like AV?

  • I don't really pay attention to my amounts. I just eat what I crave and the amount the feels right.

If I had to estimate, I'd say about a half to 3/4 lb. of meat a day. Maybe 24-32 ozs of milk. One piece of fruit (sometimes none). 6-8 eggs. That is per day.

  • I just checked on my vids and rawbase8 aint a blocked user.

  • Sorry, I had to check the "see all comments" in the window above. Thanks for checking.

  • Mal 8oz of honey a day. Isnt that too much refined sugar? (refined sugar contains no fiber. honey contains no fiber.)

What did you eat yesterday or in a typical day. Let the readers know what is a typical day's breakfast, lunch, dinner.

How many calories a day do you eat typically. Any ideas of ratios of fats/carbs/protein or any goals for that.

What is the most amount of fruit you would eat in a day?

What do you think is a healthy amount of fat grams to be consuming per day?

  • I am by no means speaking here as an expert, but to my knowledge, unheated honey is not a refined sugar. Heated honey is. It is one of the most powerful and healing foods I've ever come across.

In my opinion, the "fiber theory" is incorrect and has gained somewhat mythical levels. If you're eating a pure, raw diet, the body will do what it does naturally. It will digest, assimilate and discard what it doesn't need.

  • A typical day would start with 12ozs of green veg juice. Then, when I'm hungry again, maybe one piece of fruit, pecans with honey and a raw milk/egg/honey "milkshake". Later, another veg juice. A milkshake in the afternoon and a meat meal for dinner.

Usually, I'll make a delicious sauce for steak that is: raw tomato, olive oil, jalapeno pepper, avocado and maybe some pine nuts blended together. Delish...

  • Really appreciate the video. Thanks for sharing! You don't look anywhere near 39.

And to durianriders you might be taken more seriously if you didn't rely on insults. You attacking this type of diet isn't going to stop people from trying it. If anything you are just fueling the fire and drawing people to it by the controversy you are creating. But thanks for your input all the same.

  • Somebody has to be a voice for our animal friends and our arteries!

Somebody has to point out the contradictions!

Somebody has to put up athletic achievements and point out how flawed and fatigue inducing a high fat diet is.

AV says 'drinking water is bad, eat tomatoes and drink milk instead..'

Check out my youtube vids 'DURIANRIDERS' and see how I debunk this whole sad gig.

'Freelea' is my raw vegan partner in crime, check her youtube vids if you want a femme perspective and not me. :)

  • Dear Mal,

I have been on the primal diet for 9 years this year. I can attest to the benefits like you. I would never go back to eating cooked foods.

People who doubt, have not tried the primal diet or they have not done the diet long enough to realize it's value and truth. Thanks for posting the video.

  • Mal, it would be great if you could do a vid of your kitchen/fridge/pantry etc. Do a vid of you talking down a wild animal with your bare hands in full 'primal style'.

Or failing that, even buying your nicely cleaned flesh etc wrapped in plastic from the local supermarket or where ever you get it from.

'A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AAJONUS FOLLOWER' or something like that

    what you reckon?

  • As to the fridge/pantry, that's a great idea! I may do that soon.

As to the last two, I've done both, but don't have any video of either. But for the record, I prefer buying meat at the store. It's quicker and the only thing I have to stalk is the guy behind the counter. :0)

  • And Malcom, lets remember that Aajonus claims to have had autism all thru childhood and he passed university and worked in computers...all with chronic autism that he was able to 'hide' from everyone else..

Aajonus Vonderplantiz also aint his real name..

His false teeth, inflamed skin, questionable ethics with clients and general lack of fitness all point to someone that may be sincere but clearly is sincerely wrong.

  • What is your point about the autism, computers or his name?

I personally don't care what the guy's real name is. That's irrelevant to me.

I believe he was beaten and robbed in Thailand a few years back. He spent a good amount of time in the hospital. I believe he lost his two front teeth then.

I know you'll be quick to doubt that. :0) But it's the truth. I going to see him in April. I'll ask for more details.

He's been through a lot of shit in his lifetime!

  • I got a mate that went to see him last year in Australia. AV charged him 400$aus for a 1 hr consult where he told him to not drink water anymore, put an egg on a window sill for 50 days until it turned black and then eat it, only eat green bananas and to eat as much fat as possible.

Aajonus is a fraud. His claims have never been proven by science or individuals. His dvd is full of subjective claims by random people. There is no science to any of it and his programme changes month to month.

  • We could go back and forth here, Harley. You are totally welcome to your opinion. I'm not really here to argue, so I'll leave it there. My hope and/or purpose here is to share my experience and hopefully share some good give and take from folks, like yourself.

  • Again, I'll repeat this: "We could go back and forth here, Harley. You are totally welcome to your opinion. I'm not really here to argue, so I'll leave it there. My hope and/or purpose here is to share my experience and hopefully share some good give and take from folks, like yourself."

Also, after 12 years on the PD and experiencing life changing results, I certainly don't find Aajonus to be a fraud. Neither do the at least 50 other people I've personally met on this diet.

  • Your right Mal, we could go back and forth but I did my homework today and I quote from AV's latest book 'We want to live' reprinted in 2005. Page 48 I think it was 'I commited to eating 70% of my diet as raw foods and the rest cooked..'

Peeps think AV eats all raw but even he says in his LATEST books that he doesnt. He even advices cooked starches as part of the primal diet.

You aint doing the primal diet if you aint eating cooked food bro.

  • You're quoting COMPLETELY out of context. That point in the book is a flashback to when he first became aware of the effects of raw foods on the body. That 70% is his first step in discovering his own path to health after a near death experience..

You can't quote out of context like that Harley and expect to be taken seriously, my friend. I'm not saying that to be mean. But if your going to do your "homework", you've got to be correct about it.

  • I guess people can read his book and make their own decision.

Problem is that most people dont read in the detail I do as I have a lot experience in be able to tell if a person is hiding something nutritionally.

Mal how much honey do you eat per day? Is it your main source of carbs?

    Thanks.

  • That's true. I hope that people would make their own decision.

I also, however, would hope that you don't allow your so called experience to tell if a person's hiding something cloud the line between fact and opinion/belief. i.e. quoting out of context.

I eat up to 8ozs of unheated honey a day. Not at once, of course, but with different foods such as raw milk/egg "milkshakes" and nuts.

  • Yes, I would say it's my main source of carbs. A little from fruit and vegetables and veg juices.

  • How much cooked food do you eat daily malcom?

what do you eat/dont you eat?

    Thanks.

  • Glad to see you found the link!

I eat no cooked food, whatsoever. I haven't for 12 years.

Here's what I DO eat. Anything else, would be what I DON'T:

Vegetable juice. Unheated honey. One piece of fruit a day (sometimes none). Dairy (Milk, cream, butter etc). Eggs. Small amounts of nuts (usually pecans). "Fruit" vegetables (cucumbers, avocados, peppers etc). Naturally carbonated waters. Olive Oil. Coconut. Meats.

  • Perhaps the viewers would like to hear that in the vid. Helps people get the message you are trying to share.

Thanks for providing this info. How much honey a day would be your minimum/maximum.

  • no reply to this question malcom??

  • Cool. You might want check out the rawpaleoforum

  • And Malcom, would I be correct in saying that Aajonus still sells that book' we want to live'?

And in the current issues that a friend of mine purchased 2 years ago, has aajonus recommending eating highly refined white bread as a beneficial practise?

Am I correct in saying this?

  • Yes, I believe We Want To Live is still for sale.

I can't speak for Aajonus, but like I said in my video, I believe he has not recommended eating cooked starch (or any other cooked food) to anyone for a very long time. You'd have to ask him for any more info on that.

  • Aajonus still recomends cooked food as he still sells his book 'we want to live'. I did a youtube vid about it.

  • thank you for sharing!
