  • Why haven't I just bought the entire Clint Mansell discography yet?

  • I loved her for many years, together we were about to reach what I think was a pure eden, I lived my life for her, I wrote for her, I sang for her, I did everything but her heart malfunction became to hard to handle one day so she went permanently to the hospital, every day I came to visit her, I wrote poems for her I slept there entire nights, I spent all weekends talking to her, drawing here face when she was sleeping. One morning I woke up, she was gone.

This song describes what I feel today.

  • however the arrivals are a VERY DECEPTIVE project! If you decide to watch it pls keep that in mind. Its probably propaganda. They claim to be fully against the Illuminati/NWO/you name it ... but ZEITGEIST doest also says they are against illuminati. As a matter of fact ZEITGEIST is Desinformation ... effective propaganda for the NWO and much more ... watch this channel "Knowwheretorun1984" and decide by yourself! <3

  • @TheRealBlackRefleX You know that you don't have to pick sides in every single argument fight or war that happens, right? Best to stay out of what doesn't concern you. There is no real proof to Illuminati, Im not saying i don't believe that they are real but there no one can proove their existence. Until then lets not start fights with people that don't exist to the general world.

  • @TheRealBlackRefleX My friend. It is time to stop scapegoating. Conspiracy theorists have inaccurately labeled the Illuminati as all evil. The financial elite, who run things into the ground, and the true illuminati are different. The concepts of the higher spiritual secrets, and those being preserved for mankinds future are not the same as the dark "Satanic" rituals of the corrupted elite. Zeitgeist is not disinfo. Stop being afraid of spirituality, its inside all of us.

  • @cloud0123 sounds like u dont kknow what ur talkin bout ...

  • @TheRealBlackRefleX That bein said, you sound exactly the way I did 5 years ago. I used to go around and spew the same shit you are. Yes, sometimes the Illuminati use truth-seeking movements to usurp or hijack a movement. Just because something has the name "light bearer" behind it it, doesn't always mean they belong to the same group. There is a group of benevolent gnostics who are trying to spread awareness amongst people.>continued

  • @TheRealBlackRefleX It is the Vatican created Christianity that took, misinterpreted, and twisted the names/facts in order to create an externalized religion in which all else was "Satan." Therefore ironically, you are judging/interpreting movements and symbols based on thousands of years of conditioning by the same people you claim to expose! You have to think outside any box ever given to you, even that of youtube, religion, and anything else. Good luck friend :)

  • @cloud0123 i dont really believe that you have deeper knowledge in introspection. I still don't think you know what I'm about. there is nothing that qualifies you making statements of "me beeing you 5 years ago". sounds really stupid comparing me with some youtube truthseeking warrior ... ^^ just dont know what else to say but watch the channel I mentioned. If you don't agree on something, let me now! Until then stop acting omniscient ... It seems to me that you are just scratchin the surface...

  • @TheRealBlackRefleX ... dont want to talk too much ... show me some solid facts ... saying "you have a tiny picture of the Whole" is not constructive and pointless ... If I would be such a person I wouldnt listen to you anyways ... dont tell me what you already have researched ... tell me more about your results and I will tell you if and why I agree/disagree on them ... peace :)) ( WATCH that channel "Knowwheretorun1984" and tell me your opinion ... that would be so much better ... )

  • @cloud0123 please! watch this channel "Knowwheretorun1984".

It's better then all the stupid videos you watch....

  • @TheRealBlackRefleX Actally I do, I have gone further in research and introspection than you obviously have. I know exactly what you are talking about. I know who they are, and others, and I also know the misappropriation of you-tube warriors like yourself who see such a tiny picture of the "Whole." The Illuminati exist, and there are DIFFERENT factions, the ones vying for the corrupt NWO agenda are not true illuminati- they are wannabe's using the knowledge to corrupt you.

  • the arrivals gave really creepy content to this music ... Im kinda conditioned/programmed with the arrivals content ... this music is the trigger

  • the arrivals anyone?

  • The Arrivals brought me here.

  • This is my favorite soundtrack from the movie. So very deep, peaceful, touching, and heart breaking all at once.

  • from about 03:00 to 3:30 is the best part, you can hear the violin crying

  • THUMBS UP FOR SHERLOCK

  • Finish it

  • WHY DOES MY FEET SMELL SOO FUCKING GOOD.. eventhough it smells like dorritos?

  • @shepper1080

I believe that to not just listen but -understand- classical music, you have to be mature engouh, without hatred against other genres. Well, your comment is a bunch of swearwords that just shouldn't be under this masterpiece ! Calm down ..

  • clint mansell and justin bieber heaven and hell

  • how do you do it Darren Aronofsky? How do you make such great films with a great composer to make such great music

  • chicken skin <3

  • wow. funny how i came to this, coincidentally, after watching The Fountain a week ago.

  • epic music !

  • Don't worry we're almost there.

  • This song would make Chuck Norris cry.

  • @Ekono1000 Chuck Norris only cries because he allows it.

  • @Ekono1000 then we finally found a cure to cancer

  • @Ekono1000 Blasphemy!!!! lol

  • @Ekono1000 This song is actually a recording of Chuck Norris crying.

  • @Ekono1000 Considering he's a fundamentalist christian I'm sure it wouldn't take much to make Chuck Norris cry.

  • @Ekono1000 ^_^ allen harper.!

  • haven't watched the movie but it sounds really great and the music is amazingly beautiful, true art right here.

  • this song is as beautiful as the film<3.

  • The first time I listen to this score, I was amazed by how beautiful it was. I shed a tear and couldn't stop listening to it, such beauty.

  • loooooooooooooooooove

  • Clint your a genius

  • 37people are illuminati

  • @hoobastank7000 Stupid comment and I cant believe it got 2 thumbs up. Dont take brilliance and "enlightenment".....(get it).....and compare it to anything else.

Few know and most will never.

  • @SOJOA Those of you who think you know everything are annoying those of us who do.

so "enlighten" us with your silence!

  • the arrivals anyone?

  • I remember watching this film. I was only 11. But it touched me in so many ways and I couldn't fathom what I experienced from the movie. It made me so scared and I cried in my sleep for so many nights. But I realized that this film is profound touching the core of a human being's spirit. It's beautiful and haunting.

  • There is something about this film that is rarely seen in the film industry today. Its beautiful and obscure which in most cases means that it wont fare well with the mass majority, as a society we tend to want instant gratification without any effort involved. I wish this was different. The Fountain is one of my favorite films and soundtrack.

  • Oh my God this is not humanly possible.

  • This is one of my favourite piece of music

  • i like free naese

  • You know it's a true peice of music when three years later after hearing it, it's still in your favourites.

  • Staring into the eyes of your loved one .. and just crying..

  • you dont need words to explain how you feel about music, you just need your imangination.

  • When there's nowhere else to go: Shebulba.

  • @ThoughtOnFire222 *Xilbalba

  • *Spoiler kinda*

This film made me not only feel certain feelings i never thought i had, but it also made me look at death as a beautiful thing. Those words "I'm gonna die" with a smile on his face just did it for me.

  • It really is a shame that more people don't listen to this music anymore. It's so breathtaking.

  • Darren Aronofsky + Clint Mansell = Excellence.

  • I've never seen the movie.. But this gives me a sense of it being okay if you are the last man in existence. Like the music and emotion itself is breathing. :) Incredible.

  • Not as good as Lux Aertena (how ever you spell it)

  • بريك محاسبة الذات والابحار في الخيال

  • @Majo0ody1000 Break self-accounting and sail in the imagination. Sir I believe those words speak for everything this song is meant for. To truly enjoy one song you must not listen with your logical reasons but with your mind, soul and heart. But to do so you must lose yourself in the music.

  • Is most awesome if you hear it with rainymood...

  • @LegoPoopOfficial ...God's not person though...;-)

  • @LegoPoopOfficial hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, oh my soul, best youtube comment ever.

  • @LegoPoopOfficial that made me laugh. idk why. it just did...

  • @LegoPoopOfficial Lol....priceless......

  • Dude, Clint Mansell is too obsessed with the world's end .....

  • Thumb Up If u think the music of the fountain movie is kind of same but have a bit difference

  • @greatisnothing

    This IS from The Fountain.

  • this album was released long time ago, I'm still listening to everyday. I love it and too, Clint Mansell. Wanna see his gig ;-D

  • each tune u made .. make me crin..

    the last man standing ..

    Yes it's me !!

  • I want this played at my death place every year. :33

  • this is inhuman. and I'm serious, there is something about this film that made me cry and it's the first time I've ever cried for a film. to be honest this film kind of scares me :s

  • @TheGuims07 this film is the road to awe :) :) :)

  • @TheGuims07 This film brings out the human in us....and it is not scary....its beautiful. Emotions are to be cherished...and enjoyed. Be happy you are a human being, my friend.

  • @TheGuims07 it pretty much brings all the sad thoughts in the back of your head to your immediate thought and get very depressed

  • @TheGuims07

To be honest, I didn't really understand The Fountain

  • @TheGuims07 then it has succeeded so very well.

  • @TheGuims07 ...that sounds more human to me.

  • @TheGuims07 ...emotion is what makes humans human.

  • @Lifter85 It takes more than emotion... my dog has emotions, doesn't make it human

  • @Lifter85 no speech is

  • @TheGuims07 I feel you cried because your subconscious was exposed to the disconnect that is has with your conscious self.

  • @TheGuims07 Love can be scary dude.

  • @TheGuims07 spiritual

  • @TheGuims07 watch Mr.Nobody.. its the same type like this film

  • This needs more views!!!!

  • When I die, I really hope this is the music that plays.

  • It is hard to do my homework with all this music going on

  • piano is the most beautiful instrument ever made

  • @Gelliny so true :)

  • movie and the music... amazing...

  • I havent seen the movie yet but these soundtracks seem to be far more epic to be made for a romance.

  • @HIMrocksHIM

    It's not just a romance.

  • @brajamtho757 i saw the movie now and i agree with you its not just a romance

  • @HIMrocksHIM It's quite hard to describe The Fountain... it has way too many facets to be pigeon holed into one category... I've watched it 3 times and I've found new meanings in it each time... It's quite a masterpiece...

  • @Carrion29 it was fascination. after i watcched it i tried to make a conclusion but i couldnt i felt like there is more to this story than just love.

  • @HIMrocksHIM it's not a romance just trust me and watch it..honestly changed my life that movie

  • @ElevenE11even i have watched it. i have to say it was an incredible movie. what do you mean by changing your life?

  • @HIMrocksHIM i watched it several times, i didnt understand it at first but after i started seeing different messages, and it just changed my perception on death and has opened up many theories after watching it about death

  • Seeing death as the end of life is like

seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean...

  • this music plays at the best scene of the film

  • This song is the most emotionally moving thing I have ever heard in my life.

Oh, and I'm a "metalhead" in the sense that I love metal, but I also love this music. In fact, my two favorite genres are classical and metal. If you're too close minded to enjoy music like "the Last Man" then I sincerely feel sorry for you because you're severely missing out.

  • @Tacticious Actually, most of the metalheads i know like classic music. It isn't surprising anymore.

  • Top comments are gay LOL.

  • @MidnightGIow I wonder if you're a closet case, a (very bad) troll, deaf or just an asshole...

  • Whenever somebody says they are a "metalhead" it reminds me of the metalheads in Jak and Dexter

  • CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE IS CLINT'S CHANNEL?!?!?!!?

  • "The Fountain" is probably Hugh Jackman's best film. And his most underrated.

  • It touches my inner self. You'll feel it when you experienced shudder. Epic!

  • desperate is the word.

  • 1:04 (scared me)

i was deep in to the music i dint noticed that part

btw this is an amazing song

  • ..Finish it..

  • This music is just awesome.

This music inside the movie is beyond limits.

  • this song reminds me of ww1

  • @jmantime why?

  • @jmantime

That's hard to believe. How old are you?

  • @brajamtho757 21 i didn't say was there i'm talking about the combat footage that i've seen

  • @jmantime

    It was a bad joke.

  • Brakuje jakiegoś pierdolnięcia

  • 3 2 1. WAKE UP

  • This isnt just a song its art no im wrong its a masterpiece : )

  • @xAssasinsBladex NO ITS A MIRACLE

  • THE ARRIVALS are close, have you prepared ? Wake up people !

  • Breivik shoud have listen to this song instead...or just hang himself

  • @TheGator2000

You have no understanding of life. No understanding of pain - death - visions. He had to make things up to have a reason to stay alive. the society around him letted him down. He was dead inside... pains that you wouldn't be able to understand, if you didn't go through it yourself. So please shut it - he isn't crazy.. he is just human. A human who wanted revolution - so no one else should get through the pains that he got through.

  • @egonsss90

Why do i allways see 'metalheads' make this exact same comment on every fucking video that does not involve metal? No one gives a shit that you're a metal head and you are capable to enjoy other types of music. Do you think you're so special because you like metal?

  • @neverhoodyn He's responding to stereotypes of people who like metal and people who like this.

  • Comment removed

  • @egonsss90 Despite other people's comments being mean and unkind, I appreciate this comment. It accurately shows you can appreciate vastly different shades of music. I would agree, some hard rock music I listen to gives me other unique emotions, but this...

... this gives me despair. I wallow in this despair, as though I am living through something comparably tragic to the plot in The Fountain.

  • @egonsss90 Me too my friend...

  • @egonsss90 Don't define yourself by genre's of music dude you are missing out on so much beauty in music by doing that, I know when you're young it is easier to fit yourself into a pigeon hole to fit with some clique at school or such places, Listen to any and every genre you will discover some tota gems you never thought could exist outside of your defined bubble.

  • Comment removed

  • @egonsss90 Duuuuude me too!

  • What an amazing musician. It brings out so many emotions it's kind of hard to describe what I feel listening to this. its just fantastic.

I had to listen to his music when I heard he was gonna make the soundtrack for Mass Effect 3.

  • FAVOITED!!!! LIKED!!!!!!!!!

  • Darren Aronofsky is a cinematic genius, and Clint Mansell is a musical genius..I love all the movies they do together

  • @pastlament Guess it's ok to call yourself a fetus? I mean I'm not saying it's bad. I get what your doing, but I don,t get why you got so bitchy about it.

  • beautiful...and yet so sad...reminds me of things...yet also makes me question them...as well as everything

  • The arrivals is the best

  • how can death be a disease? it's what makes us human.

  • @megacool213 Death is a disease, meaning a imperfection, that can be fixed. And no, death is not thew definition of human, everyone is unique and you might choose to have that definition for yourself for whatever reason, but the definition of what it means to be human is something that can be heavily debated, as the body is the vessel, not the captain.

  • Death is just a part of the life !

    Beautiful song <3

  • Death is just another disease, I will find the cure.

  • @sicaRius2K Everything will taste death and it is not a disease.

  • @sicaRius2K Death is by no means a disease. The reason people can make such great memories and live in the moment is because everything will eventually come to an end. It's part of what keeps most people moving forward. Personally, I wouldn't want to live forever even if, hypothetically, "death was cured". Over time, things would grow dull. Nothing would be special anymore. Eventually, people would be trying to un-do the cure. Also, you can't stop natural disasters from taking life.

  • @xShadowKissedx Well, consciousnesses lives for ever, and that is the beauty of creation, there is always something new, something to discover. Yes, being stuck in human bodies that heavily restrict our ability to experience the universe would not be good. The idea of finding a cure for disease also means getting a body, tool, vessel, whatever, that is of sufficient quality to full fill wants and desires. Then, that is when death needs to be solved. There is also much we do not know about death

  • @xShadowKissedx It's a quote from the movie you twat. LOL thx for the essay tho TL:DR

  • @sicaRius2K Well then I am in the wrong, so I apologize. ^ That is how I feel though. I like that word "twat" as well. Lol.

  • So beautiful, how can you express so much sensibility :']

  • kai fa dai gorizo kai fadai gorizo bininininiin
