  • @poypolma that's where I'm at with this. I've gotten accepted tk every college I've applied for but Berklee is the only one that matters to me. But even if I do get accepted, I'm definitely gonna need some help money-wise.

  • Does anybody know if you must go to a community college FIRST before going to Berklee?? Is that true?

  • very inspiring..I really want to be part of the Berklee Family.. Music is never a job for me, but my way of life. Surrounded by lots of talented musician is a great honor for me. Hope I can get a scholarship. T,T

  • AND YET AGAIN. Another YouTube video FILLED with discussion comments. fuck.

  • when you go to a music school, it doesn't mean that you will be a famous rockstar. It means that you are allowed to do what you love to do, and you are learn to understand music better and are help to express your self, those that say a music school are a big money scam, are so ingnorant. But one thing you don't get to learn in a music school is passion for what you do. if you don't love what you do a music school are probley not the thing to do. thats my opinion of it.

  • @simonguitar123

"when you go to a music school, it doesn't mean that you will be a famous rockstar. It means that you are allowed to do what you love to do, and you are learn to understand music better and are help to express your self..."

Says who? Nobody needs Berklee in order to do what they love to do nor to understand/appreciate music better.

  • Oh my god. They are so good! I want to go when I'm older, but I REALLY doubt I'll make it.:/

  • @KarateCop

Going to college at berklee isn't about everyone that goes there coming out with a high paying job. Its about the fact that people get to live their life doing a career they love. Not everyone gets to be big in the industry. That's called a difference between talent and knowledge. Its called life. Their list of people that have made it big is enough proof.

  • Can we learn to shred like john petrucci??

  • @goldmandarrell what did u have to do to get accepted there??

  • Hey, does someone know what is the name of the song wich starts at 0:52 ?? Thx

  • @ThatOnePianoGuy now the school is crazy hard to get into. im here right now as a freshman. prob the best place ever, but all my teachers tell me how hard it is to get into. a couple years ago it was just as easy as applying, now berklee is the place to be and they get thousands of applicants every year. my teacher said like 8 or 9 thousand kids applied this past year.....and like 950 got in. its up to you if you wanna come here...work your ass of and youll be fine.message me if you havequestion

  • Cypeer high five to the first person to who tells me the name of the girl at 4:05 I love that voice.

  • @michaelj179 i would love to know as well.

  • All I know is coming to Berklee is the best thing I could have done for myself and my music career. My knowledge of music has expanded 10 fold and my composing has taken leaps and bounds since I started. Berklee has taught me how to take my ideas and accentuate them, taking them places I never thought possible. So say what you will But, there is no other way I could have attained the education and experience I'm getting now. BTW as a transfer student I'm saving a TON of money.

  • I NEVER SAID U NEEDED SCHOOL IK THE MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT IT OMG

  • *correction* (Man, am I rushing this.)

  • *coreection* why would *you* be stupid enough...

  • Thats pretty generalising to think that everyone who graduates comes out the same as the guy you know. People enter as perhaps average to amazing performance abilities with an interest in something like film and media, composing or even music therapy. You CANNOT just pick those skills up off the street.

  • @Realteen

Your argument is based on the fallacy that in you must be assisted in order to acquire a skill. Anybody with determination and persistence can pick up any and all techniques without the assistance of a formal music education. If what you were saying was true then Roger Nichols couldn't have become a studio engineer simply because he didn't have the education background to do so, nor could Bill Evans have been a jazz pianist for similar reasons, yet both went on to have great careers.

  • @Realteen

It's sheer ignorance to assert that education is a prerequisite to great musical ability, whether inside or outside the studio. The Beatles had no formal music education. Steely Dan (Don & Walt) learned rudimentary theory and from there learned everything by ear. Stevie Wonder learned everything by ear and feel, obviously. Much of the great film and TV composers had no formal music background, or very little. Berklee isn't a golden ticket to success.

  • @Realteen

Indeed, considering the ridiculous tuition and the lack of personal development, I say it's better for people to save their time and money and learn directly by listening to the music they like and learning from there rather than being force-fed a specific method. Furthermore, as was said before, most graduates don't come out and find work in music. Most wind up working part-time jobs trying to pay off their debt to Berklee which is asinine.

  • What people don't seem to realize is that formal music education is unnecessary in order to be proficient. Most of the greatest artists had no educational background whatsoever. They educated themselves. People get suckered into these institutes only be spit out of an over-populated system which leads nowhere, except maybe in debt. The worst thing an artist could do is have their individuality stripped away. When you join a univeristy such as this, you become an automaton rather than an artist.

  • @KarateCop You really need to look into the Berklee college before making such a swooping statement. There are plenty of courses you can take that don't necessarily doom you to become just a performer.

  • @Realteen

But that's just the thing. People are paying exorbitant amounts of money only to come out sounding like everybody else. An artist's true wealth lies in his individual expression, not his ability to conform to a preconcieved notion of how music ought to sound. I knew somebody who graduated from Berklee. Before he went there, he played local gigs for pocket money. After he came out, he played local gigs for pocket money.

One can bypass music education and come out just fine.

  • @KarateCop idk I've heard really good things about Berklee yes, most artists just went with it and succeeded going to a high class music college will allow you to meet other people make friends (personal level) and expand your skill even if its the slightest way and also idk if its true or not but a friend told me that thre were record company's that stop by sometimes so u might get signed. also,no one is forcing you to go to this school unlike elementary intermediate and high school...

  • @bambamsamsh

If you require a college in order to meet other musicians, there's something wrong with your approach. If you're just hoping for a record label to sign you, to be handed success on a silver platter, you have the wrong idea. Have you ever heard the term 'indentured servitude?' That's what being signed to a major label is for most artists. They buy up the market in order to keep it free so that they can push their big money makers, and you'll wind up in debt to them.

  • @bambamsamsh

You're right: nobody is forcing you, so why would be stupid enough to blow about 100 grand to go there and learn to sound and act like everybody else? The fact is there is nothing -- absolutely NOTHING -- which can only be learned at music college. Also, why shouldn't I deter them? You cannot teach somebody to be successful. Great art is the result of self-discovery, not fixed method. It requires patience, practice and persistance, not 100 grand.

  • @KarateCop i was giving examples dude. why are you so mad at this anyway? if you go and hated it thats one thing but because your pissed that it costs to much and that it gives you absolutely nothing in return i am getting the idea that you haven't gone and your dream was crushed because you didn't have enough money. but thats only a mental picture. furthermore you aren't being like EVERYONE the video said that there are plenty of different styles you also have many more options to....

  • @KarateCop expand your understanding of the musical world. i don't see why that would be an issue i mean you can get paid on and off campus and u only have to pay tuition once right? and if you calling hundreds and hundreds of people stupid because they wanted to explore further into their education in music theory and such, i believe you have no right to do so you have no reason to think for other people.

  • @bambamsamsh

It costs a LOT of money to go to Berklee, let alone find housing in the area and support yourself. Money doesn't grow on trees. I have no control over whether somebody goes to Berklee. However, I think that anyone who has yet to go to Berklee shouldn't be mislead and conned into going because of misinformation, i.e. there's stuff which can only be learned there.

As for myself, no, I have no inclination to want to join any music college -- I don't need to waste my money.

  • @KarateCop How Would you know that, you havent been too Berklee, and one of the most famous musicians went there, by the name of Quincy Jones

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

"How Would you know that, you havent been too Berklee, and one of the most famous musicians went there, by the name of Quincy Jones"

Correction: Quincy just happened to go to Berklee. So what? That's one person out of how many? Thousands? Tens of thousands? What school did The Beatles go to? Oh, that's right: they didn't go to music college -- they just learned by themselves.

You can't teach a person how to have soul and individuality through a college cirriculum.

  • @KarateCop Yeah, Quincy Jones, Esperza Spalding, Keith of The Black Eye Peas, John Mayer, Lalah Hathaway daughter of the late great Donny Hathaway and host of more than 130 grammy winners have went to Berklee, for everyone you name I can name another 10, you dont become the most legendary music school in the world for nothing, You can teach a person how to have Soul if the person teaching it has it, If you went to Berklee you would know and recognize that

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

The Black Eyed Peas are poor musicians; Keith could've just as well have come out of reform school. As for the rest ...meaningless. Whether or not someone goes to a music college doesn't mean anything in the real world. The music industry is looking for a product that they can make money off of; they don't care where or how the musician was brought up.

Just because one out of however many thousand students goes on to have a career is meaningless. Most wind up in debt.

  • @KarateCop Black Eye Peas poor musicians, yeah ok if you say so, Yeah Keith couldve went anywhere yet he chose the best BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC and the people you dismissed as meaningless owe their career guidance and start to Berklee, hence the reason they come back and pay constant tribute by helping future alumni achieve their future goals. 80 percent of the students that attended Berklee Work in the Music Industry so I think we have a lil head up on what the industry is looking for

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

Berklee is anything but the best; there is no such thing. And who cares how many people Berklee pays off to come in and have awards handed to them on a silver platter?

You said that 80% of students attending Berklee work in the music industry. Really? Care to back up your banter? I think not, not unless you consider working gigs at local bars to be "working in the music industry." Give me a break. Most of them wind up in debt. I know because I've read many a review.

  • @KarateCop There is a such Thing, Go to any other school and see how many grammy winners attend there school, Then compare it to Berklee, They are The BEST no one comes remotely close, A grammy is based on artistic merit not Cd or download sales, I served my country In the US Army, thats how Im paying for Berklee, no gets paid off to go to Berklee, get a grip, your hate on Berklee is so mad displaced it makes no sense, oh i read reviews, stop playin, aint that many reviews in the world

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

The grammys are a sham. That whole show is just a way for the big music industry to pat itself on the back and promote the artists they want. The alleged link between Berklee and the Grammys means absolutely nothing. For every artist that's come out of Berklee, there are hundreds if not thousands that did not attend. What of all the "Schools" they went to? Oh, about 'jazz theory,' question: did any of the past jazz masters you people incessantly study attend music college?

  • @KarateCop This is futile, because on the real, Your a Joke fa real, your baseless comments have no credibility, so im done, I know whats really good, Im here and your not, thats Whats Real and nothing you say or do will ever change that, Peace and Im Out

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

You're "for real"? Typical egotist. Let's see: You came here and spewed your nonsense about 80% of alumni leaving Berklee to jobs in the music indusrty yet could never prove it. I proved that most alumni wind up unemployed/working menial jobs and in debt to Berklee. Looks like you've failed.

Yeah, you're there and I'm not. Guess what else? I'm glad that I'm not. There is nothing unique about them and their smooth-jazz techniques which can be picked up anywhere.

  • @KarateCop You are so far off you don't even know.

  • @KarateCop Those that can't, teach, those who can, go to Berklee. Jealous hater. Typical. I live and work in the music industry in Los Angeles. EVERYONE I know who went to this school are working, and not only working but making a killing in the business. Just go back to your parent's garage and weep that they never sent you to Boston. We wish they had sent you to Ukraine.

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

No, they didn't. At most they had formal classical training, but that's it. Everything they did, they did from ear, naturally, without being handed a fixed method by a music teacher.

And about the reviews: the vast majority I read were negative, lambasting the school, its cirriculum, intuition, et al. And spare me the typical PR nonsense about Berklee being "a family." Berklee does not promote individuality -- it strips the individual away and creates smooth-jazz automatons.

  • To draw a conclusion for a whole institution based on reviews of a few compared to the many, I really dont think its reviews, from you responses you just got mad hate for Berklee, and on the real thats your choice, but itll will never change the greatness of what Berklee is and will always be, Berklee is more than an education, its a family, its a network of endless possibilities, but you wouldnt know that cause you havent attended

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

Berklee makes most of its money by luring unsuspecting students to their campus (via their slick marketing campaign). Most of these people have delusions of grandeur, thinking that a Berklee diploma will be their ticket into the spotlight and a healthy financial future ...until reality has its way with them and they wind up playing local gigs just as they used to, working to pay off their insane tuition to Berklee.

  • @KarateCop How the hell would you know what Berklee does, theres not one person at Berklee thats not talented, and made a choice by audition to get in. Your opinions are just what they are opinion not truths baased on facts. Delusions of grandeur yeah if you say so, you havent seen the talent nor do you know where they are destined to be, just because you didnt follow whatever dream you had doesnt mean others have too

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

Yeah, they made a choice to enter Berklee, just like I'm making the choice to inform people that Berklee isn't some golden ticket to success and skill. I love how defensive people like you get whenever somebody points out the truth.

About the Black Eye Peas: name for me one song, just one, that they've composed which people will remember several years from now. You cannot do it and I'll tell you why: they write horrible music. They're just a passing fad.

  • @KarateCop How Would you know did you attend Berklee, your on the outside looking in with an opinionated skewed view based on anything but truth, Its your opinion that no one will remember one of their songs, trust no one sales millions of cds and goes un remember, Your one person compared to the millions that bought there music, so in that case id say majority rules

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

Go back to what you originally said: "Yeah Keith couldve went anywhere yet he chose the best BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC" That's a provocative statement not based in fact but in opinion, is it not? You asked if I went to Berklee. The answer is a resounding "no" but yes, I have seen it and I have seen and heard the students and teachers there. I've read a wide assortment of reviews from people who have gone there, about how everybody is rushed through the system...

  • @KarateCop No its based on fact he made a conscientious choice to attend Berklee. having seen it, or heard through others or reading about it, isnt knowing in any way shape or form, you make blankets statement based on your own misplaced bias of something you have absolutely no idea about, what you say is straight disrespectful as to seek to kill others dreams because the unfulfilling of your own, Its better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

"having seen it, or heard through others or reading about it, isnt knowing in any way shape or form..."

Oh, I think I have a more-than-good idea what Berklee is all about. They're not so much a college as they are a brand name to sell to Joe Public. I've seen teachers from Berklee giving demonstrations online and was completely underwhelmed. Former alumni post their first-hand accounts and you dismiss them out of hand because of your bias.

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

...about teachers skipping classes altogether, or showing favortism towards certain individuals over others, about the insane cost of tuition and how they wind up in debt to the college sans a career in music.

You didn't name a single song by the BLP that would be remembered several years from now because you couldn't and both you and I know the reason why: their music sucks. Sure, they sell millions, as did Britney Spears, Justin Bieber and countless other untalented hacks.

  • @bambamsamsh

My biggest problem is how much it costs to go to one of these things. I took formal music theory lessons a long while ago. Those were private lessons over a few month's time-span costing a little over a grand. I came to find out that it wasn't worth it, that I was doing the majority of the learning by myself anyway. At any rate, they wound up offering me a job as a classical guitar teacher to which I refused. 99% of what I learned that is useful I learned on my own.

  • @bambamsamsh

Theory is readily available from multiple sources, be it in books, on websites, et al. Ditto for jazz theory. However, what most people don't seem to realize is that the past masters who are so venerated and imitated didn't go to any jazz school. They learned everything directly through the music (some had been reared in classical music training, as have I, but that's beside the point). The point is that with or without formal training, one can become a great artist.

  • @KarateCop im not saying that u NEED formal training at all im just saying its a personal mater. you know what. how bout we stop and you and I can leave the computer and u can go get a coffee or something and ill go draw or w/e get us both off the computer. k?

  • @bambamsamsh

Here's the misconception: "You CANNOT just pick those skills up off the street." that was posted by Realteen. This is what people are told, that there's no other way to learning music than to undergo formal lessons.

Any technique or skill involved with the art of music may be observed and learned by yourself w/o anyone else's assistance. Therefore, spending about a hundred grand to go to a music college is a SEVERE waste of money.

  • @KarateCop Really your making assumptions fa real, and its mad funny cause you havent attended Berklee, nor have you put out any product that backs up anyone of your statements, Free Will is what it is Free Will, Who are you to tell someone dont go to Berklee there just taking your money, Berklee is one of the only schools to embrace individuality and nurture it, any other school puts you down if your not about classical as a foundation when it isnt the only foundation for music

  • You'd know this if you attended Berklee, You know that the level of theory taught here isnt classical based its Jazz Based, no matter how someone does music they were taught on some level whether it was formally or not, They are no guarantees in this world you can spend a hundred grand at any school on any career and it doesnt guarantee you success, Music is no different, Berklee is a vehicle to take your skills to another level, what you do with it after is on you

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

You still never backed up your original statemtn that 80% of the students end up with jobs in the music industry. Back up your claim.

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

Actually, don't bother trying to back up your 80% claim. At studentsreview(dot)com, they give a much more ACCURATE perspective on Berklee alumni.

About half of the alumni surveyed said that currently things are going well for them. Only 16.7% went on to graduate. 66% said that it contributed 0-25% to their success with just 16.6% in the 75-100% bracket. 50% are unemployed, 25% white-collar, a shallow 8% top management and 16% self-employed.

    Quite a stark picture.

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

A small handful of them go on to become music teachers, which means that they're merely perpetrating the problem.

Overall they scored a C+ grade with students -- not exactly top-tier if you ask me. 51% said that they wouldn't return.

You said they hold auditions and only allow in the best. Here's what somebody said: "Don't worry about getting accepted, they will try to convince you that you lucked out with a slot, but they accept everybody who has the ability to pay."

  • @KarateCop Believe what you want heres, the bottom line, you deal in ignorance, conjecture and futile fallacies, Your completely ignorant about Berklee, because 1 you havent attended, 2 Your looking through the eyes of someone else, not your own cause once again you havent attended, No one needs your validation to attend Berklee, nor your self proclaimed wisdom on why not too, If you know so much of what the industry wants, where is your product where is artistry

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

You keep harping on and on about me and my supposed failed dreams when in fact you know absolutely nothing about me, but then, what else can you do? I've already pointed out that 50% of the former alumni are unemployed, thus destroying your bogus claim that 80% of Berklee students go on to enjoy lucrative careers in the music industry. FACT: Most people who leave Berklee wind up either unemployed, in white-collar jobs or self-employed.

  • One persons art doesnt become less because you said its not Artistic and you dont by, you dont like it, keep it movin, They have millions of fans who think differently, and your opinion is not affecting a dog on thing in there grand scheme of things, complete picture of what a schools alumnus is doing would require a complete review of all not some of the people who attended, And though others may not have attended Berklee through business relationships that were taught by some one that did ie..

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

Yeah, keep bringing up the Black Eye Peas. They have "millions" of fans? So did Hootie & The Blowfish. So what? Look where they are now. The BLP will wind up the same.

It doesn't count much for nothing who Berklee pays off to come in and try to sell their brand via slick marketing campaigns and cheap YouTube videos. The emphasis is placed on established celebrities rather than the students, similar to how some students are favored over others.

  • Quincy Jones who attended Berklee help develop and teach Michael Jackson, James Ingram, Patti Austin, Frank Sintra, Stevie Wonder, were all indirectly influenced by things taught to Quincy Jones at where, oh yeah BERKLEE, Herbie Hancock doesnt give out scholarships for scams neither do Gloria Estephan and a host of others, your hate for Berklee will never degrade the greatness that is taught there, and what they influence in the future of musical culture

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

You brought up the "greatness" that is taught there. Hmm, let's see: a couple 30 minute lessons a week focused around jazz from the 1940's and 50's. How is that 'contemporary,' let alone "greatness"? Scam institutes like Berklee are partially responsible for the depression we're facing musically, all of the horrendous music being put forth. They teach all their students the same mundane jazz techniques, the same solos, the same everything; everybody there sounds the same.

  • @KarateCop Yeah and how they hell would you know what were being taught you dont go there, Mr outside looking in, theres a bunch of so called mundane artists here that could wipe the floor with you all dam day long, I dont need to justify anything to you nor does anyone else, I go there and you dont, you judge with no credibility of your own, put something out there

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

But once again, so what about them and their half-baked jazz technique? I'm not mr. jazz, nor do I care to be. But here's the point: most alumni do NOT come out of Berklee to employment in the music industry, despite your alleged 80% figure (where'd you even get that number?) but rather to UNEMPLOYMENT or menial jobs, working to pay off their exhorbitant debt to Berklee. In fact, one former student who went for three years came out to unemployment and $200,000 in debt.

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

    Here's another golden nugget:

"Further examplifying the phonies of Berklee, the school calls itself “the most prestigous contemporary music school”. Good marketing technique Berklee, YOU'RE THE ONLY “CONTEMPORARY MUSIC SCHOOL”. It's like the Cleveland Browns calling themselves the best professional football team in Cleveland. They're the only professional football team in Cleveland!"

    Well said.

  • @KarateCop That would be contemporary and jazz school, that would go to said they deal in real world application of music not just classical, Theres nothing phony about that, they record speaks for itself, IE My professors who have Doctorates in Music From North Texas and Mahattan School of music understand how prestigious to get in to a school of Berklee's stature. Your hate and despising will never diminish that ever

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

My "hate" will not "diminish" your appreciation for your professors? That's just wonderful. Too bad that the majority of reviews I've read don't share your sentiments. So your professors have doctorates in music, huh? What have they accomplished in the music industry besides being able to tout their 'advanced musical knowledge?' Since when does the theory make the musician? First comes the musician, then the music. The theorist is just another observer.

  • @KarateCop They make 6 figures thats what they accomplished cant say the same for you, now can I, Your way of thinking is so through jacked its funny as hell, but its cool, do you, Im gonna do me with my 10K scholarship and my forthcoming CD, displaying nothing but originality, Id love to see just what you do on stage, and see that nonsense your speaking back up something remotely close to artistry

  • @MusicByKhalilTV

It's a SCAM, plain and simple. So what if a small handful come out to well-paying jobs (or the select few who do end up working in the industry)? They'd be beter off playing the lotto when the odds are already stacked against them.

Yet again, I don't owe you proof of my musicianship. Since the alumni are writing your campus off for the most part, and you're going around spewing your 80% figure, the onus is on you to prove it.

  • @KarateCop you would usually need to take a music class here, it is the persons own choice to take courses and pay tuition if they want to they should so its best not to deter them because who knows if they did go they might have gotten to something incredible not to say they wouldn't not going but it makes the chances higher

  • Ok, this has been bugging me for like 2 years now lol....WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS THE SONG AT 4:04. PLEASE ANYOONNNEE lol, it's probably an original, but hopefully its recorded somewhere on this god forsaken planet.

  • i wish i could study music at berklee, but there are not that many opportunities out there with a degree in music.

  • A place where Rap and Hip Hop doesn't exist, sign me up.

  • @bobcatmonster Rap and Hip Hop is as important as any other genre....

  • @bobcatmonster

it may will shock you, but you can study some hip hop in Berklee too xDDDDD

  • I need a favor from people who were admitted to Berklee

Please watch my most recent video and try to determine if I would be admitted if i auditioned

    /watch?v=wGxX5TxgsLg

  • too expensive. i'll just go to a college and get my music degree. same thing, just wayy cheaper.

  • Berklee is such a crap ass scam..

  • @Whatisthescore everybody says that!! could you expand a little more on that?

  • If you are more Kurt Cobain, it is not the college for you. If you are more Celine Dion, this is school has really good training, i was more Kurt Cobain, but i met alot of great people that i will always remember!

  • In sum, I am not paying f**king 15,000 dollars (the same amount as a college course) just to master Pro Tools or Cubase/Nuendo. These schools seriously need to bring the cost down. This only shows how demanding people are, about how everyone wants to get in for LIES! Maybe thats why the music today sounds like crap on the radio. THIS is the reason!

  • In sum, just learn the material yourself. If your so passionate, its not hard at all to just MIX a track on the computer, or tape recorder. Your computer has a sound recorder. Buy an audio interface and maybe even a digital audio workstation and learn yourself. Good luck in the music industry.

  • passionate passionate passionate so many people are so closed minded about music schools they get a job in music and just take advantage of the business for the money. Youtubers are the ones that piss me off, they think they know everything, they try to attack anyone with the same knowledge, its just THIS bad. I'm not going to a stupid music school, even if I have the talent and passion for music. I would go if it were free, but the prices are RIDICLOUS and the schools are ridiclously demanding

  • Why was his comment flagged? I was wandering the same thing. Does anyone know?

  • I went to Berklee

  • @JadeBlack1 is it a good college?

  • anyone goes to Berklee ?

  • what's the song's name at 4:04?

  • the only way to get treated fairly at Berklee is if you are a valuable asset to their advertising campaign.

  • @Whatisthescore dude you've commented multiple times on this video... what's up your ass with berklee?

  • @maxpowd3r He was either:

    A. not excepted to this great school.

    B. had to drop out because music is too hard for him.

    C. to poor to afford to go.

  • @NailsForDinner lol agreed!

  • @NailsForDinner well, people have beef with berklee for alot of reasons either cause they were moderatley good and saw alot of people who left because its not really the best school for performance, or just slacked off too much, or studied too much.. who knows, its expensive though man and that can be good reason to get mad at a place, college loans are no joke

  • 4:08 sooo good, what kinda style of music would you call that?

  • I have picked up electric rock guitar 1 year ago...I am hoping to audition for Berklee. -Is there anyone who goes to Berklee who could check out my video and let me know if I am anywhere near good enough...I have a few guitar vids posted

  • @nickshredsguitars yo i go to berklee and honestly you have A LOT of work to do man. fuckkkkk. hahaha

  • berklee i'm coming

  • so which is better, Berklee or MI???

  • i wish i can get in that school. i found my passion and love for music at 11th grade. kinda good, but don't think im good enough. is it a too late of a start to pursue music?

  • @randomclip12 its never too late man, its just that if you have a TRUE passion, you WILL be good enough, i have a friend that started guitar last summer, i started guitar 3 years ago, my friends passion with guitar made him just as good as me in a matter of months, and its all because he practiced for hours and hours, and i just didnt have his passion, when i see him play he just closes his eyes and i can see passion, ever since i saw his passion, it inspired me, i now have that same passion.
  • I've been on the fence between psychology and music; This just inspired me to fallow my dream for music.

  • yean donnnnnaaaaaa!!! : ))

  • I saw no euphoniums. I am mad. :P

  • 4:05 till 4:15 ...wow! what a great voice... what's the name of this song??thanks

  • I'm 14 and from Curaçao. I play guitar. And I know I'm gonna be there in 4 years.

  • @Bedeimentu Berklee isnt worth it unless you get a scholarship you might as well go to a Conservatory or somewhere more branched out in the Music Industry such as MI were the artists are just as good and the reason why they're more successful there is because they have the Music Industry surrounded around them. Example what are you going to do when you get out of Berklee,if good enough you'll go to Nashville or LA,possibly NY but not Boston in MI they have bands and celebrities at their doorstep

  • @tommie997 What does MI mean?

  • @tommie997 what is MI?
