They are a good band n this song is fantastic. Couldn't believe this played in the intro to lip service - soon every dyke and its dog will be proclaiming them the greatest band ever..... I think its great that bands like this go generally un-noticed, it means silly lil teenagers and radio dont get to play them to death

No, it's not "cool" to be the only one around you who knows that band. There are enough good-yet-unknown bands out there.

As far as I know, the band broke up partly because they didn't get the recognition they deserved. And I don't believe The Delgados would change had they had world recognition. I don't think any of these reasons apply.

The Delgados are BRILLIANT and therefore they should've gotten more recognition, period.

If they'd been from California they would have gotten it. That's sad.
