it actually wasnt truly playable on the internet. all the netlink was was a fancy x-band peripheral for the saturn that had an internet browser. i aint gonna lie, i played a few games on netlink, mostly duke nukem and saturn bomberman but i regretted it after getting hefty phone bills each month. the way it worked was the netlink actually called the person you wanted to play to establish a connection. if he was out of your phone area then it'd be long distance. see the problem? fun times though.
i hope you mean the arcade game, the saturn one sucked really hard with shitty graphics and the whole shitty package around it to make it look like a 2 year compared to NFS.
Well that's instrumental, more rock-oriented music for most. It's a kind of style. On the palette of soundtracks, I find CCE's some sort of relaxing. CCE Seaside is PERFECT as a night-theme song.

Yep, even though the first one was graphically horrid, this one was not much like Daytona at all.

there's something quite surreal about seeing the opponent cars stick to the track like that

Yup, I have this game now. I like the improvements and extra features, but the music just isn't the same.
