I knew this existed! I've tried to tell people for years about Evils last jump and nobody seemed to remember except me. Well, after years of telling people and nobody rembering, I started to think it never happened till now! lol I remembered how disapointed I was that he wasent going to jump :( Little did I know it was his last. Bummer. I loved Evil. He was my hero growing up.
My grandma worked at Michael Reese hospital where Evel went after he crashed. She was an xray tech..and she xray'd him..his whole body. She came home that evening with an xray of his pelvis!!! She came home and showed it to everyone, "there is his pelvis, no broken bones. and there is his penis." HAHA..it was awesome. She still has it. It's the ONLY THING I asked her to will to me when she dies. What a great keepsake for a grandma to pass on, huh?

@KanedaJones That's what I was thinkin. I thought for sure this was gonna be one of those videos mocking Evel showing the fonz jumping the sharks. I don't remember this one.
He crashed into the cameraman...and the camera man lost the eye. This upset Evel more than any of his other crashes because he hurt someone else. You can read it in his biography.
I was there, I was 9 years old. Evel was my hero. I remember getting to see Telly Savalas and Jill St John chain smoke with some sportscasters, then they announced that the jump was calcelled and that you could trade your tickets in for other events at the ampitheatre.
You do know his last jump was in 1981, not 1977, right? Just figured you should know so you can fix that.
