  • I would LOVEEE to talk to him and find out how I can do that with my Wing Chun.

  • Great Grand Master Tsui Sheung Tin is still with us, but unfortunately is sick with some form of leukemia/cancer and so may not be with us much longer. Please send prayers/ positive energy for him.

  • @Silverlin212

    cancer is gone!! :)

  • @Cogan2010 I only just recently found out. He Wing Chun'd the cancer without the help of western medicine! He truly is amazing!!!!

  • Nobody ever has a bad thing to say about Tsui Seung Tin, but Leung Ting on the other hand...

  • Cool. is he still with us? Love the look on his face sometimes like "He won't stop this!"

  • Such a happy man, i feel such pride knowing he is my Grandmaster. I love learning this, but i must say, I've never done anything, and i'm sure i never will do anything more difficult. Love it! :)

  • WTF..............IS HE USING CHI? THATS A TRUE MASTER OF LIFE

  • @BBFOXHOUND No it's just a real wing chun structure (force from the the stance, use body power behind the arms, with the right angles)

  • @Thetraveller04 well, you're right, but it's all powered through 念力 or mind force. Don't forget that an internal relaxation, generated via the subconscious mind is used to support his entire body and structure. It stop his body using muscles in the way that every other person does, and makes him virtually impregnable to other people's force.

  • 0:42 incredible!

  • This is the man that IP MAN named nicknamed the "KING OF SIU NIM TAU" AND also said had surpassed him and reached the pinnacle of wing chun which is being able to use nim lik to fight.. truly amazing... 5* vid!!

  • the living legend

  • What's great is that it's a small old guy against young tough-looking guys. You know that it's all about proper form and not relying on muscle power or athleticism.

  • SiFu very good.

  • FINALLY by god there is somebody who actually fights with REAL bodystructure in wing chun !!

every wing chun, which kinda looks like that is the "TRUE" stuff.

all the other WT crap, Emaz and what ever else is total BULLSHIT compared to that.

there is reasons why all those wing tsun guys who go to mma or fight against sb else in general, look terrible or simply getting their asses kicked because sadly our world got poisoned by commercial clubs like WT which are just disgraceful for this system!

  • Phil are you based in Sydney or HK?

  • @77dozo Sydney

  • @phrostphil OK, I know you. I love what you have done with this clip and the backing track. Its great to see a view of a highly regarded g.master teaching in his own domain. Most folk would of never seen this type of training and it proberly leaves them wondering. I've traind a few times there and every time I go I wish I could stay, I just shot some emails off to the guys that did..lol, its a profound experience when your drinking from the well. Thanks for the clip!

  • sweet man,

  • Lol, Sisuk Ma's short-shorts :P

  • This is a dope dub!

Also for sure The Master is he.

  • Nice vid . Thanks for posting . Do you have more ?

  • Lucky bastards. They have a chance to learn from first generation Ip Man student.

  • Why have I never heard of this guy?! He's amazing.

  • this man should never die without passing over his knowledge

  • @ammar3arafa i believe he is trying. there a quite a few that have learnt from him over the years. a couple have passed away sifu jim being one of them.

sibak Ma and Wing are two that knows his system. then some others in HK now that are learning the nim lik aspect (or trying to). a few are close.

  • shiiiiiiit that guy definately has a deep knowledge of structure and use it to transfer energy...^^

  • And how hard is it 2 learn? Looks as if u just gotta Learn where to hit and what part of the body to use when he's attacking, how long would it take to learn and would it be difficult?

  • @Johnny87Au the method is very simple, but it is by far one of the most difficult things you will ever do. Sigung still teaches in hong kong, but if you're interested, one of his longest training students (Mark Spence) runs a school in sydney called Chi Sau Club. The beautiful thing about wing chun is that you never stop learning. P.S. It's not about where to hit, but how you use your body and mind that's important in wing chun. It's about you, not the opponent

  • @phrostphil

Thanks mate, im actually signing up for a unlimited student here in sydney, theirs only 1 wing chun academy in sydney so im guessing its mark spence right? Do u have any idea how long hes been training with Sigung? Exactly what im after, authentic wing chun!

  • @Johnny87Au yep. Mark Spence used to be the manager of the wing chun academy but now he runs his own school called Chi Sau Club in surry hills. There's a website for his school - just google 'chi sau club'. Mark has trained under Sigung Chu Shong Tin for the last 25 years. Definitely the best in sydney imo and also one of his longest standing students. He also ran his own bouncing business for 8 years in NZ.

  • what exactly is he doing guys??

  • @Johnny87Au he's demonstrating to his students how to overcome brute muscular strength by using relaxation, body structure and mind force.

  • @phrostphil Could you tell me the strategy for him to practice Qi? I once follow a master in Hong Kong. And he told me that getting Qi from Wing Chun is much slower than from Tai Chi. Even with a life time of 40-80 years ["young" to "now"] to practice Qi of Siu Nan Tao, there shouldn't be many people able to achieve his level.

So I sincerely want to know how he gets this.

  • @idmangqn mind force

  • @phrostphil I'll try ^^

  • si gung is good no doubt

  • @ElPoderDeLaCaca Maybe in his prime.

  • @ElPoderDeLaCaca

What phrostphil said is true. when he fought, his fights were incredibly short either because his opponent surrendered or was incapacitated. He is famous for his skill, not what he says or how he teaches. In his prime, he was a force to be reckoned with.

  • @ElPoderDeLaCaca Can ya find a 76 years old Krav Maga, Vale Tudo or UFC fighters of the same calibre? If Chu Song Tin were to fight in a match, it would have to be under rules and conditions that is agreed by both sides. I don't see any fighter with a successful career in the UFC who uses Krav Maga for the simple reason that Krav Maga was not intended for the sports arena.

  • . why is he so awaesome???? he was a personal student of Grandmaster Ip Man. nuff said.

  • @jdiddy666 there was plently of personal students of yip man that are not near his level. he is so good because a. he is a freak. b. he put the time into his SLT to get this good. and continued to do so. let's give the guy some credit for the work he put in.

  • thats amazing , when i go to hong kong this year il check out his place

  • @ElPoderDeLaCaca

Your right, they should let a 70+ years old man go against the young and welll conditioned fighters. *Sarcasm inserted here*

  • I agree, Tsui Cheung Tin is truly a master above all others in every sense of the word. I have seen him for barely few hours and yet can tell with full confidence that his teachings is by far the truest and most practical and effective way of using Wing Chun. I have learned immensely just by having watched him here for few hours. I am an 18 years Wing Chun practitioner by the way.

  • I am not from TST lineage but I really respect him for his mastery of the internal side of Wing Chun. There are not so many who do it and a few might do it while not even realising it. Sadly most are practicing and teaching Wing Chun as an external art because few are patient enough to practice right.

    Thanks for that video.

  • yep, def true here, the siu lim tao form is actually a compilation of known dim mak (internal chi exercise) forms

external power is merely the manifestation of internal will....

  • thank you this is great

  • relaxed power, just the rotation and structure of a bong sao makes it strong, there is no tention in your arm, thats what he is showing you.

  • WC is not a sport, but you can see him effortlesly moving thouse young guys all around,,,he must have somepling, right?

  • Thanks man! I'm realizing how good my sifu is b/c I can now go back to these vids and see what these old men were trying to comunicate. I find that you can't explain everything that these masters have - you have to experience them live. None of these dudes ever look as powerfull as they are. Jose Grados looks like a small dude, but he's a master who is constantly growing in his expression of the art. TST is an old man, and he's moving people 20 yrs younger... I love it!

  • You know I just saw that it says "King of Sui Lim Tao" but he's really showing more than the 1st form. This video really helped me see the importance of body structure, and the bit with the shoulders is amazing - to turn someone away by turning your whole body is proof that you've been practicing!

  • I like 30-32 seconds b/c Tin turns the guy away with his shoulders b/c Tin's structure is good.

  • That sounds so rad. By the way, I am not by any means the fighting oriented martial artist. And I do think that sometimes people abuse the name of "sensei". And I really don't like that' that's why I think that sparring is a great way to measure if your "sensei" if full of B.S. or not. (Not to mention way of life, philosophy and all the rest because a sensei is not a coach, is a mentor)

  • Salutes. Just great.

  • Great stuff. This is real internal Wing Chun if I am not completely mistaken.

  • Such good structure :) The "little idea" in action...

  • awesome old man

  • totally AWESOME!! good to see some new videos of sigung on the web. Phrostphil, are u one of the boys from Sydney that moved to HK?

  • the coolest shu shong tin video ever~~:)

  • I can't get enough of this video. Sigong's the best!

  • Wow, his structure is so impressive. I think I'll go work on my Siu Lim Tau now *blush*

    Great video!

  • It's always nice to see a Grandmaster in action. Cheers.

  • chu chong ting, is good

  • i still want to see him do a one inch punch - any volunteers?

  • 43 seconds

  • fair enough. i meant the show jim fung im gunna punch you in the air across the room
