  • The teaching on the Maharishi's is so amazing. I find that statement to be the most profound one, thank you for sharing. I treasure this one.

  • thank you ! so true and inspiring !

  • I think that this empty state of wanting comes from the fact that Mankind has been displaced from creation and placed in an unnatural world of money, career, and a false image of human existence and purpose. Since we were all born into this state which we accept as "normal". our spirits cry our for what is missing from our lives. That is the connection with our mother Nature. We have no idea what was really intended for us so we dont know what we want. But we know something is missing.

  • Neither right nor wrong in wanting mic-or lotto. Attachment to wanting or not wanting leads to proportionately dissapointing outcomes. Obsession is borne of fear. Fear attracts. Fear promotes miracuously synchronic negative co-incidences. Fear is the opposite of Faith. Faith engenders Grace. Grace is the escape clause from this twin headed dilemma. How so? I do not know! However any mechanism for redirecting your attention from the over grown garden of your mind.will work. Life will flow..

  • Isn't to 'not want' a want to 'not want'?

  • If I really look, inwardly, I think I find that most of my emotional misery comes from wanting something or someone that I don’t have.

I've contemplated the following anxiety-triggers, this afternoon: we're miserable because we don’t have 1) the perfect lover 2) the perfect job 3) the perfect boss 4) the perfect bank account balance. When we covet, we are miserable. Miserable, miserable, miserable.

  • this is similar to lester levenson's directive to "stop wanting, and have!"

  • The whole issue of "wanting" usually has do with greed, short-lived thrills, or addictions. "Wanting" a family, regular affection, and useful work are not things we should "Mooji" away. I spend years in a Buddhist temple and now my wants are simple: To live in a state of love, to care for animals and people, to do useful work, to make a difference daily, and to share that journey with a passionate, sensual partner. Don't translate the "not wanting" into a defeatest attitude of "not trying."

  • people chase hapiness because they're afraid to death of depression. again, they hold on to the temporary passing moods.

  • Not to want - such a simple and powerful instrument on the way of being happy.

  • i could never want an object, i could never jumb with joy for recieving an object a "diamond" or "car".. However, i WANT abundance, i WANT a Lottery win and trust me, the relief of winning it will bring the most amazing joy i could imagine, it won`t be from a "relief of agitation" it`ll be joy for the dreams i can now fulfill, the family i can make happy, the traveling i can now embark on, the freedom i will witness, escaping the shackles of a working life. Anyone explain?

  • An example of "disability implant" (first series of the first run): I want to escape I don't want to be captured I want to start I don't want to stop I want to go forward I don't want to go back I want to be awake I don't want to be asleep I want to be competent I don't want to be incompetent I want to remember I don't want to forget I want to be light I don't want to be heavy I want to be treated honestly I don't want to be fooled etc
  • There was an ancient implant (in prior common shared realities), called "disability implant"

The first sequence, which is "I want to" / "I don't want to", is designed to seem like your own thoughts. The items are projected from gold (positive) and silver (negative) balls and there is a black explosion which sends out dividing sheets of black energy

  • fantastic words :)

  • Amazing words of wisdom!!!

  • Your desire stands in the way of the natural flow of Light from within. An object can not dissolve into a feeling within the more subtle aspects of your being. It is an effort to force energy inwards and is in direct opposition to your natural expansion.

  • Ask someone what he *wants*, his answer will reveal what he thinks he *lacks*.

  • Ask someone what he *wants*, his answer will reveal what he thinks he *lacks*.

  • Ask someone what he *wants*, his answer will reveal what he thinks he *lacks*.

  • it clicked! beautiful.thank you

  • I never really understood the meaning of Psalm 23 until now...

"1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul...."

The "want" is what torments our souls and we are constantly tempted with want. "Want" deceives us into believing we are not whole. When we are free from want temptation has no power. Freedom from want, gives us rest and restores us in our being. Wow!

  • "If you don't know what you want, what is the purpose of want..." It never occurred to me before hearing this that if I am unsure of which direction to take, simply be still. I always felt I had to have some big plan going. The funny thing is, as soon as I let go and resolved to be okay with not knowing what to do/what to want, everything unfolded for me perfectly. Let go and let God? Maybe that's where that saying comes from :-)

  • i want to want! it's soo creepy ....

  • i like how he logically attacks the source, the thought..everything comes from thought.

  • im pretty sure everything comes from awareness which is not a thought and cannot be seen or attained with effort , awareness that which a babies in

  • now, intention to get rid of wanting is the same wanting....You see? You dont need neither wantign nor not-wanting anything. Whatever happens in you, just happens and it is That. Nobody can explain this. don't even try. Total silence.

  • What to do when you get things you don't want but you get them ?

  • What if desire comes, and the joy is in the desire, not the need for It's experience? In other words, joy is before the desire...

  • Thank you for speaking of this. Somebody asked me what I want to do in the world-"There must be something"-and they almost had tears, because they felt my potential is being wasted-and how could I explain my work in the world is being done in every moment of my being, walking around in nature, smiling at the check-out lady-all I ever wanted fulfilled constantly.

  • excellent

  • What a person wants is not wrong but it takes time and we better "to forget" what we want and just then we can have it from another place,

person and way-that is the paradox of being creative, calm but doing owr best not just staying hopeless...

  • ... that's why it's called ... 'the pursuit of happiness '... in the West... we chase after holograms of need...

  • I like how its a conversation rather than a lecture

  • Another incredible video of this Man... I have been suffering from the things in this video for some time now. His videos always seem to pop up at the right time for me. It's the best series of videos you could suscribe to on the entire youtube

  • Hey post the next part too.

  • thank you!

  • I don't even know what I want. Be that.

    Wow

  • We all want the same thing, to feel good. Let's face it, all we ever wanted, always want and always will want is to feel good. You can feel good now. You wanna stop wanting, then just feel good. Feeling good, a high vibrational frequency, that's all. You want to feel even better, be still and keep quiet, works as well.

  • Hi! When I alot more time to be still and keep quiet, I become lazy to work, no money and get hungry. When I don't use my mind to work, I ended up sleeping in the park. When I don't have goals, I become poor. Why is that? Any suggestions? Thanks...

  • Being still and keeping quiet doesn't necessarily mean not doing anything at all. You can still get things done and at the same time feel that inner stillness within yourself. He's talking about being quiet within. While you're living here is necessary that you take care of your needs first without a doubt. The wants that he talks about are things we don't need, materialism and trying to fill a gap. Be still inside and you'll get the point.

  • Thank you so much JSantana for your reply. Any more suggestions on how to remain in Awareness or Being always because I always fall. We don't have satsangs here in the Philippines. I only depend on internet! Thanks...

  • Anytime my friend. We all tend to fall because I fall back too into the ego mode. What I highly recommend is for you to notice everything that goes inside your mind and just observe it without any interpretation, just allow every thought to come, allow everything without resisting. After that you will begin to notice why things happen the way it happens and another thing when you fall into the ego mode, take a few conscious breaths. Focus on your breaths as it goes in and out. Thank you!!

  • "... when you get the thing now, ok, the agitation stops, and it is the relief from the agitation that you're interpreting as the joy you're receiving."

Particularly exceptional satsang, thank you! :o)

  • @CannabisHeals That was deep when he said that...
