  • Your hair looks great! I have yet to have a decent twist out..........Still tryin though....

    thanks again for the video.....

    ~Pat8rice

  • Please do a tutorial on your 2nd day style, it is gorgeous. Loved you on black girl long hair too. I'm counting the weeks until my hair is out of extensions, you are my style inspiration.

  • Beautiful

  • very nice! thanks for the video

  • Very pretty. glad you got two days. Did you retwist it? Did it last the third day?

  • Your hair looks very nice.

  • Your hair came out really cute. I never thought about twisting it in two layers instead of one big one. That probably helps with definition.

  • Thus is REALLY lovely!!

  • This looks lovely I can no wait to gain some length to do styles like this :0)

  • I think you found yourself another style. Looks great.

  • Pretty! The flat twist out method is my favorite way to do twist outs. I dont do the flexirods at the ends though. I'm not the greatest twister, but I'm getting better each time I do it :)

  • Thank you for this tutorial! I did in on a four day old twist out with the orange rollers. I like how bouncy it turned out lol I kept whipping my hair back and forth :)

  • It came out so good! I agree with one of the responses please please please make a video on how to stretch hair after washing. Shrinkage is no joke! lol

  • your hair styles came out very nice... i will use this method- it doesn't seem like it takes a long time to set the twists.

  • Do you have a video on how you did the twist? I'm an not any good at the two strain twist! UGH

    BTW your hair is gorgeous.

  • Hey Fiya, Please check ur inbox.

Great twist out turn out btw! :-)

  • Cute hair style on you - success.

  • I love the curls! I will try this for Friday! I just wanted to know if you could make a video on how to stretch your hair after washing!

  • But I think that you don't need this lot of product. You think that you need a lot of product but it's not truth, it's too an alienation. I advice you to try to use only olive oil for example. Don't afraid to keep this oil in the hair because it has no odor in the hair. It's composition is very similar to human serum. I am pride that afro hair don't need a lot of product, a lot of money... it's a bias/ prejudice.

Escuse me a new time for my bad english. I am french

  • @rachel5091 It's not a lot, it's simply what works for me.

  • i've tried the first style and both my sister and aunt loved it!! it wasnt so pronounce as yours-mine had like a retro flair to it but it was girly and pretty! thanks.

  • What do you mean by doing your hair in 2 layers?

  • :)

  • Very cute!

  • oops, disregard

  • really really cute. did you do it on wet or dry hair? Thx for sharing!

  • Yes, The Back is gorgeous as well! I will be trying this method ! Unraveled my 2strand twistout yesterday after it been up for 3 days and it still wasnt set the way i hoped for:( So i will be trying again!

  • @wilsons1980 That's what happened to me the last time I tried it too! Don't give up!

  • @br0nzeqt Thanks will do!

  • I really like your hair. I'm gonna try it this week!

  • I'm a natural newbie and was wondering how you dry and stretch you hair. I've been hearing people mention "stretching" and I have no idea what it means. Anyways, I will definitely be trying this style out (once I figure things out)...keep coming with the style videos, I love them!

  • Really like it. I too do mine in two layers and I put the ends in bantu knots

  • Cute Sis!!

  • I did something very similar for my Christmas look. I got lots of compliments.

  • Looks awesome!! Just a suggestion. When youre unbradding it, use a good pomade like Carols daughters honey hair mimosa! It is awesome with sleeking and minimizing frizzies! Ive managed to be able to wear it down for a couple more days with little to no frize and my hair is JUST like yours! LMK if you do!

  • I heard your song on the radio last week. I got so excited :)

  • i wonder how this would look on slightly shorter hair than yours??

  • Abosolutly Beautiful!

  • Looks great

  • Oh, I love the Day 2 Style. Do you have a tutorial of that style already?

  • Beautiful.

  • Both styles were cute! Thanks for sharing.

  • Very nice.

  • sexi af

  • You look adorable!

  • LOL This was the most I've seen you smile in a video lol

  • @Tribesbez HAHA I know! I was excited because I had to be at work in 10 mins and my hair actually came out good!

  • That is so cute! My hair is so tight that it never comes out as pretty as yours.

  • That is such a cute style .....

  • Love it!!

  • this is too cute!!!

  • Did you dye your hair or is the red-ish tint from henna??

Loved the style btw :) You're one of my hair inspirations :)

  • @tiomacarter Hey thanks! The red tint is from henna :-)

  • Cute and FULL!!

  • Cute, cute, cute!

  • ou i LOVE it!

  • Lady, you are simply lovely! Thanks for the hair tips. All the best for a great 2012!!!

  • @AfroTee Thank you!

  • Me gusta

  • Looks great!!!

  • I twist my hair in multiple layers as well. It always turns out cute. Love it!!

  • Suuuuuper cute. Love it!!!

  • Your hair looks lovely up and away...shows off the beauty of your face

  • @empressm6 Thank you :-) For most of my life I hid behind my hair but now I love wearing it up!

  • Surprised it didn't hold up so well for the next day. I do the flat twist ALL the time now & it holds up really well 2-3 days & I just to redefine as needed since it doesn't take that long to do

  • @MamacitaNatural Yeah I know...blame it on the rain.

  • i think we don't need artificial and commercial product... i use only olive oil in my hair. Escuse me for my bad english, I'm french

  • @rachel5091 Lucky you! I need a lot more than oil to keep my hair looking good. Most of the products I use are natural though, not artificial. :-)

  • What do you think of the sugarberry pomade? I think I might want to try it bc I am realy not into the burnt sugar smell.

  • @REDSKINTYGUH11 I LOVE the scent! I've had the burnt sugar pomade before, and I wasn't crazy about the scent either... the Sugar Berry is great because the scent is lighter and doesn't seem to last too long.

  • Very, very, pretty - both styles! Do you not consider retwisting at night? I hope it looks as good with a wet set b/c that's what I'm gonna try.

  • @candygirl2319 Yeaah, I thought about retwisting that night, but I was so exhausted after a long day. I'd like to try this on wet hair too..my wet sets always last much longer.

  • nice!!!

  • May I ask, what are you using to keep your hair consistently moisturized? I think I have a really similar texture to you and your hair ALWAYS has the best sheen, it just looks soft all the time !

  • @forthetvshows Water, Leave in, Shea Butter Mixture, and the Pomade to seal! The pomade is what gives it a nice sheen. I recently did a updated regimen video. Check it out.

  • Very nice!

  • I like my 2 strand flat twist outs. It's my staple style. I usually banging knot my ends and the curl pattern is nice.

  • Very cute! Your excitement was contageous! Lol

  • @Zavqowiah789 LOL it seriously made my day.

  • totally forgot about the flat 2 strand twist out...did it once in the summer on a whim!

  • I love it...shoot I got excited too...LOL

  • Love it!!!! Very pretty and fluffy

  • It came out nice girl!!!!

  • Next time try to bantu knot the ends instead of the flexi-rods

  • @083107210422 I'm definitely going to try that next time!

  • Great style. I love your genuine excitement when it turned out successfully. I can so relate to that!

  • very cute

  • You are such a gorgeous girl! Looks great

  • your makeup is divine ;)

  • Very Pretty. Thanks for showing the actual flat twists and the rods. Gives me some ideas. ☺

  • I do this all the time. 2 rows in the back, one section on each side and one in the middle slanted forward and either left or right. I love the flat twists better because there is no separating needed at all. I haven't used the flexirods (might try that). Definitely try the pineapple method when sleeping. I usually get a good 4-5 days before I put my hair up. Good job as always

  • Soooo p-r-e-t-t-y...Luv'n it...Dat bun is daBomb.com!!!

  • I like this alot, both day 1 & 2. Keep the vids coming. I get new ideas from your vids.

  • Loved it! Both styles!..... Have you considered the pineapple method for preserving this twist out?

  • @Mokeadunni Yup..I use the pineapple method. I just do two ponytails instead of 1.

  • Looks great!!

  • Im doing this TONIGHT! LOVE LOVE LOVE

  • Came out amazing!

  • I love both days!

  • looks great!

  • Love the hair and the makeup! Thanks for sharing! Can you please do a tutorial on you day 1 look?! Its gorgeous!!

  • super super cute!!!!

  • Seeing the progress of your hair gives me hope to keep on in my natural hair journey! This was really cute!!!

  • Wow, this came out really really nice. I look forward to trying this.

  • I like it.....will try it on my hair. Thanks for sharing:)

  • Cute, actually the high puff looked cute as well.

  • very pretty!

  • Awesome! It'll be my 'do for the New Year's! You look great!

  • @knitaholictoo That's awesome! I think I'll do the same :-)

  • Really cute, argh, I never get the fullness I want with twist outs. :-(

  • I have the orange and the red rods, and the red rods are perfect for your hair length; it's very similar to mine.

  • @jndavis83 Thanks! I'll have to pick some up.

  • Congrats Girl!! Hope to see more videos from you before the end of the holiday season! Xxxx thanks again for the twitter announcement :)

  • @irisnaturelle No problem ;-)

  • @Lifeisagift1990 I did a twist out prior.
