Wang In Sik is excellent here. He's rarely anything else but this and the scene before fabulous. Rumour has it that Bruce Lee chose him for his role in way of the dragon after hearing how rougfh he'd been with the Chinese stuntmen on this film. Needless to say he did not shine so brightly in his scenes against Bruce. He is however fabulous against Jackie in Young Master and in Dragon Lord! A true legend!
That's an honour. Where I live the martial arts scene is fairly basic: the nearest hapkido club is 120 miles away and we are confined to karate( which is taught more as a sport than anything else locally), judo ( best club of the lot), Muay Thai and a TKD club for kids. We did have two styles of kung fu in the nineties but the instructors moved out.
so this the great HIS, ive seen him more than i thought now, as he only came to my notice 'radar' when i saw Young Master[he looked different then!]. i guess he was a bit old to be a big 'player' when the golden era late 70's came along. so i guess most of his top work would have been in the low budget days! films i dont normally seek out! oh well FistofUni is comin in soon, and its one a the few ive spotted of his that did get a remaster/upgrade.5/5

"Elder? Are you hurt?"
Dude just got slashed like a dozen times, bleeding profusely, and she has to ask? Oh well, aside from that, this kicked ass.
