  • dude i was looking forward to place inlays on my bass neck .. that kind of inlays Billy Sheehan got on his Yamaha att ltd bass .. any ideas about how to .. without using any cutting steps .. god i could cry if i did that to my bass neck !

  • is it possible to inlay inlays without cutting into the fretboard?- i know some people do this but i mean as in..uhm..do i need some really really thin inlay if im just gluing it there or is it ok if its not super thin? it wont really change the intonation of the strings will it? the strings dont touch the fretboard all the way down do they?

  • Use a wood chisel set. It'll take longer but you can get a tighter fit.
