It's interesting. The catchphrase "ave it." was never going to be used. According to his book, they wanted to get the thing done in one continuous take, and he was so happy with himself when he nailed it on take two that he shouted "AVE IT." the producers loved it so much they kept it and that's how it all started. :-)
