alot better method is to have some body ride as close to you as possible head on then turn into your tracks the get your sled on their tracks that way you dont have to fight the powder cuz you would be on a packed trail

my way is to just lift a bit the back to get some snow under it..and then shake it like hell and it will get unstuck..(it work for me)

Well, not up here, cuz the snowmobiles are modded to run in high presssure dry air, the air up here = standing on a 1600m mountaintop, so we loose power in that mod
