Nice Set I've never seen it running. I have a set like this and would like to sell it, it is all new and boxed never open I might list it on eBay this weekend. seller ID- BK-Jeweler send any questions if you have an eBay account.
Very pretty set. I would like to have been riding the real model. These trains, I understand, were individual units, that could be coupled together and operated by the same engineer. They are adopted as cab cars at the rear of trains, saving time, also avoiding locomotive rotation and train wye. They actually operate in KEYSTONE SERVICE trains, NEC New York City-Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. They were also used for the SURFLINER Los Angeles - San Diego corridor.
Nice set. I saw the real ones on a trip to the East Coast in 1981. I really like these cars. It's hard to believe these cars, when new, wore the Pennsylvania Keystone emblem when new!
Thanks for posting this. I've been wondering how this set sounds like. Williams aint that good. I kno MTH made this in an earlier time and man I missed the chance to buy it :( I used to ride in it several times. I hope MTH brings it back :)
MTH cataloged a Metroliner set, but never made it--they didn't get enough orders to justify going into production. The model in the catalog photo was from Welz.
Thank you for posting this, as all of your videos. I like the simplicity of the video. Sometimes I play them while I am working, just to hear the clickety-clack of the trains on the rails. Just ordered another Williams loco myself.

Damn, railride, your stuff is so cool ^^ I was never into a hobby passionately enough to have a setup like yours. I think it rocks!

It's funny cuz Bachmann was the only HO company to make these and Williams was the only O company to make these. And Now they're together.

Not a bad looking set at all... too bad you couldnt maybe upgrade the sounds with an aftermarket chipset or something...
