  • They killed all of these personal TNG Crew scenes just in favor of the action scenes.

  • @SchmidtFilms86 I got a bad feeling thats right.

an a shame because its those fine little moments that made tng the great series it was.

  • seriously, did the script writers just "forget" the TNG episodes with Lore? Data's "brother?" Why do they have the cast acting like they never saw another Data robot before?

    lulz, I'm lame.

  • @Purplecatsoup30 Well lore was as complete as data. b4 was... Diffrent

  • when I look at this scene it seems a bit amateurish and probably why it was cut but then it strikes me it's perhaps because the actors are too comfortable. they are probably really good people and happy and they are enjoying and relaxing in the process. too comfortable in a way.

one might also simply point out that data could simply replicate however many of himself he wanted unless they are alluding to an untouchable soul.

  • test

  • What is it Riker says at 1:10? Is he saying, "It's a family"?

But, aww, poor Data. He finally find a brother who is not a total psycho but instead he's a prototype with no guarantee to ever become a "normal" person. How disappointed Data must feel. I believe tough, that had Data lived, he would have learned to accept and love B-4 even if that was the case.

And I really think there was too little B-4 in the movie. He wasn't treated like a new brother, but as a plot tool only. How sad.

  • I think i know why they deleted this scene: At 0:54, check out the lame editing.

  • This ten forward is so uncomfortable and cramped looking compared to the E-D.

  • All these deleted scenes have so much heart and soul and mind, why did they have to go!

  • Why did they delete all the good scenes?

  • @llamapi3 So that we could have discoveries of our own.

  • Worf should have mentioned Jadzia

  • These were the scenes that actually made it feel TNG, and of course they delete them.

  • 10 forward looks like my junior high lunch room......

  • Data likely tells others that B4 is "a work in progress" LOL

  • I am reminded so much of Rain Man by this scene!

  • datas brother is mentaly challenged

  • There is no spoon

  • Why do they delete moments of intense character development?!

  • @leavellscott0481 I have no idea. I'd say it's because the audience expects more and more action these days but Nemesis was pretty full of character moments (many of them bad, unfortunately), so I have no answer.

  • They should not have stopped there, but delete the entire film!

  • @marcd30319 Maybe I hall delete you next time I see you

  • data has done that before, tried to teach another android, thats probably why he looked so sad in the end of this clip

  • 1:35 - I love that "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING" look that Data has on his face. They should have kept this in the movie. Hilarious.

  • Wtf... the last several seconds of this scene was actual proper sci-fi. If they had writers that could write that, who the FUCK was responsible for the travesty that was Nemesis?

  • Once again, proof that they left the best moments from Nemesis (the few that there were) on the cutting room floor.

  • That was so sweet! It reminded me so much of Lal. Very heartfelt, I would have loved to have seen this in the movie.

  • Nice way to slow the movie down to a crawl....I can see why this scene got deleted.

  • it is funny how people appear and dissappear

  • If they made a movie around Q it would have been the best Star Trek movie ever.

  • The spoon is soooo entertaining.

  • Q sucks cock

  • I think it would have been nice had the TNG cast had one final film that dealt with the Q character but I guess that John De Lancie would have been too old to play the character since he was 54 when Nemesis was released.

  • @KooturKoot EVERYONE LOOKS FAT ! YAY ! LETS SEE WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE WHEN YOU HIT 60, I WANT PICTURES !

  • aww, B4 is so cute. He's like a child. I always thought of Data as a child, but B4 is totally an infant.

  • @msinvincible2000 has anyone forgotten Lal Data's daughter

  • @makutateridax200 of course not, but she's dead

  • @msinvincible2000 data must be using the same teaching program here i see some similar scenes here that are also seen when data taught lal

  • awww... Data looks so sad :'( should have kept this in the film, it was sweet ^_^

  • @TheSecretdahlia I was just thinking that. You can tell from his reaction he was disapointed by B4.

  • Really good, they should have put this in the movie.

  • At 1:33, I almost expected B4 to hang the spoon on his nose!

  • haha and it's also funny the look Data gives Troi. It's almost a 'Help me...' look XD

  • I wish they had added this! i think it fits perfectly in with the movie, especially how the ending goes... :'(

  • Is that Lore?

  • @Phantomerik24 That's B-4, the model that preceded Lore.

  • did anyone see the amazing temporal portal in the scene?

  • @davincent98 what??!

  • @bigabs18281 Sorry, I was watching Rifftrax before I saw this and I was just commenting on the unfinished effects with the extra that was in the shot on one side but not the other

  • LOL! B4 i just like "Omg! What the fuck is thi- WHOA! IT'S REFLECTIVE AND SHINY!"

  • Klingon honey moon for the win

  • Comment removed

  • Data looks embarrassed.

  • Holy shit Worf!!!

  • Worf is a bigger buzz kill than Buzz Killington.

  • B-4's face XD

  • data looked so sad. i cried at the last few data scenes from the movie. i really like data. he comes second next to cmdr wtr.

  • Biggest mistake was not getting Ron Moore and Ira Behr in to write this film.

  • Everyone stare at the special child.

But seriously.. Data isnt just dissapointed in B4.. he looks fuckin pissed off in the last ten seconds of the video!

  • This isn't on the DVD, this and the bit where Wesley actually speaks

  • enterprise d ten forward, voyager mess hall, enterprise e ten forward, nx01 mess hall, all are the same set :P

  • So is this the equivilant of Ten Forward on the Enterprise E?

  • @blammers No that's the mess hall Ten Forward was an actual Bar on the Enterprise D.

  • I like the Spooooon

  • HOW can any self respecting writer/director even DREAM up this crap?

  • I'm a HUGE Star Trek fan and so is my friend Chris, who is 36 years old. He says they "pussified" Star Trek with this movie. They KILLED DATA?! Data really even go out in a blaze of glory. He died in a wimpy way like Kirk did in Generations. Its so sad that Star Trek is practically dead now. That new movie isn't even classic Star Trek. Its just a sad state of affairs. It all started with that raspy-voiced smoker lesbian Janeway.

  • First I thought that B4 is Lore.

  • 1:46

    I LIEK TEH SPOOON.

  • 1:35! PRETTY SHINY OBJECT! B4 is so amusingly slow! What a weird and disturbing family the Soongs are!

  • *sigh* I wish Worf had at least mentioned Dax.

  • the enterprise E is maded as a assault class cruiser uno galaxy class wa sonly for Exploration thats why they had so softy episodes in TNG

  • "If they survive..." lol

  • @rmatrem yeah, that made me laugh too.

  • somebody to spoon with

  • JJ says that star trek Countdown is canon but paramount dosent make it canon untill ist seen on screen.

  • I don't remember worf doing all that stuff with dax

  • dax got killed befor the honymoon. and there was a war on so they probobly couldent leve DS9

  • @spikeS1983emp Dax wanted 2 do something "super" relaxing.

  • jesus Ten Forward sucks ass on the enterprise E. it looks like they used wall sections from scott baccula's enterprise.

  • its not as luxurious as the galaxy class, e was essentially a battleship made to combat the borg.

  • Worf's one to talk about honeymoons...How rough was Casperia Prime, again?

  • This film is about opposites! Picard's opposite or shadow was Shinzon (cold, angry, rigid, capable of dreadful things), Data's opposite was B4 (slow, weak, stupid). I didn't like the film at first, but now, being a bit wiser, i really see what this film is about! I mean, who likes to see one's opposite in oneself, to face it?

This film is about facing your own shadow, your own darkness, for who better to mirror our character other than the people we meet? This is a great but underrated film!

  • actually, I find this film the only one in the TNG big screen saga to have an cinematographic intention...i do not have complains regarding the stories of the other TNG films, but the budget and production were very low. Nevetherless, I think that the death of data wasn't necessary at all.

  • @brav0wing Interesting viewpoint. Still doesn't cancel out the majority of the film's crummy bits (like that assassination scene at the beginning, Picard violating the prime directive, the fact that LORE was out there and the writers didn't even touch him, Data's lame-ass pointless death..)

  • @Stigmatainmypants Okay, I just have to point out that Lore was NOT out there. They deactivated and disessembled him, not to mention the fact that he's EVIL and has a very bad ethics program.

  • IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN LORE! B-4 SUCKS!

ahh, xanatos, demona, coldstone, and puck, the gang's back together

  • Lore sucks. B-4 could be the next Data. Yay for B-4!

  • B-4 does not have the mental capacity to rival even a dog, so you are wrong.

  • B-4 does eventually becomes Data in the comics. He takes command of the Enterprise when Captian Picard retires from Starfleet, and becomes the Ambassador to Vulcan. This happened right before Romulus was destroyed.

  • the comics are non-canonical

  • That's true.

  • Pity that this scene wasn't in the film!

It reminds me the scene from The Offspring, where Data teaches his daughter Lal how to behave in social groups!

  • poor data at 1:42.

  • I love Klingon honeymoons!

  • Data looks soo sad! Oh no, my brother is retard!

He is an android but still a retard!

Dad, why didn't you just recycle him and spare me the humilation?

  • what makes it really sad is that B-4 is his OLDER brother.

  • LMAO @ 1:34

    xDD

  • "There is no spoon"

I bet Data was trying to teach him that LOL.

  • I love B4's "Lolwut." face. Add's so such humour to the character.

  • yea, lolwut is a good way to describe B4's face. His jerky body motions are funny too.

  • Wish they would make an extended cut of Nemesis.

  • nice edit..added visuals and sound make it nice. Wish they had kept this in the movie.

  • Data wasn't embaressed by his daughter Lol but B4 has his face and voice etc....

  • This is a sad scene

  • I always wished the had done a Star Trek movie centered around Q.

  • Q is da BOMB! I love him! One of the best characters of the ST franchise. :)

  • Q should be in star trek 2 and screw with the new younger old generation crew because the timeline changed.

  • ITA with that!

  • @PhillyGal4Ever dont meant to sound rude but wtf u and this other guy mentioning Q for??

  • @PhillyGal4Ever one of the best antagonists ever.

  • Not really sure why this was rated down.....I guess someone doesn't like Q.

  • At least a cameo in one of the movies would of been great....hell they somehow put whoppie goldberg character in....why not Q?

  • They can't now can they?

John de Lancie (the guy who played Q) has passed away now, hasnt he?

    :(

    so sad...

  • Um. No. He's alive and has a movie in production.

  • Oh sorry! My mistake!

Next time I hear a story like that I should really check its validity. Thanks for the correction.

  • @clokverkorange Indeed. But Q is in his own way "good" so he rly cant be a villan. Ok, he is very arrogant, but that just makes him even cooler :D

  • @clokverkorange Same.

  • 1:32

    THERE IS NO SPOON.

  • Brent Spiner is a brilliant actor - look at how much he can say with just one facial expression!

  • I think Worf should have made some mention of Jadzia, so as to acknowledge the fact that he was married, although we can assume that Riker and Troi and the others obviously knew. I am not sure whether it is meant to be "Ten Forward", it seems more like a mess hall type place like they had on Voyager.

  • Ten forward on E seems so cold, sad, utalitiarian and uninviting.

  • Those large windows on D were a decompression hazard if they had struck space dust anyway.

  • From what I understand, the windows on starships are made of "transparent aluminum" (Star Trek 4 reference) which makes them extremely strong and durable.

  • The E is a Sovereign class which strikes me as more battle ready than the Galaxy class, so smaller windows would make sense cos its probably harder for a phaser, disrupter or torpedo to get through armour plate than transparent Aluminium.

  • Data's expression at the end confuses me a bit. Is he embarassed? Or is he disappointed, maybe he expected more from B-4? Or maybe it's sadness? Unless it's all of them together! :)

Brent Spiner really is such a fantastic actor.

  • did worf do that on his honey moon with jadzia?

  • Worf and Jadzia went to Riza if I am correct. Jadzia's idea to go not Worfs at all.

  • is b4 in many scenes(haven't seen it yet...)?

  • LOL even a Klingon Honeymoon's a battle.

  • You gotta love those Klingon's and their 'rituals'!

  • I wonder what female Klingon masturbation rituals look like...

  • it probobly involvs a barbed dildo and some BDSM.

  • This scene should have been kept in.

They cut too many 'character scenes' in Nemesis.

  • Data's face at 1:41 says it all

    lol

  • Damn. I didn't realise how small "Ten Forward" was on the Enterprise E.

  • Troi is such a tramp. How is she gonna flaunt her marriage in front in Worf like that?

  • She theoretically knows that Worf had been married and felt comfortable talking with him.

  • Kinda sucks for Warf being that he had the hots for Diana there.

  • poor worf lost his wife Jadzia Dax in ds9

  • Perhaps he just misses what they once had, even though it didn't work out. Klingons have a hard time forgetting!

  • Lol Klingons are too funny

  • You're funny

  • lol @ the blue/green screen constantly sucking the edges of Rikers head.

  • Lol. that was sweet

  • I like the glance between Data and Troi at the end of the scene, the slight embarassment.

  • haha Worf: "...If they *survive* the challenge, then move on..." lmao, Klingon honeymoons sound like fun.

  • Hmm - how awkward... I mean talking about their wedding in front of Worf who 1. Was dating Deanna Troi after Riker. 2. The recent loss of Worf's own wife.

  • It explains much

  • I like this scene. There's nothing wrong with it. I think it wasnt added because it would of thrown off the action pace of the movie, action was totally the theme in this one. Hopefully they add it in the dvd with no more deleted scenes.

  • Did nothing to enhance the story but nice to see Trek crew hanging out.

  • LOL, klingon wedding rituals - classic !!!

  • B4 is like a retarded child. All we need is the DUHHHHHHHH and GAGAGAGAGAGAG and the illusion is complete.

  • aww, i thought it was kind of cute. lol.

  • This would have added nothing to the film. They leave stuff on the cutting room floor for a reason.

  • This scene is very cool! They should've left it in the film. Data! Data! Poor Data.

  • indeed lore was so bad en b4 is so stupid.

  • B4 was incredibly lame. I'm surprised they didn't come up with something better.

  • Every one look old as hell, especially Troi, she shouldn't have had plastic surgery

  • Its Data's retarded brother, Bubba...

  • That's B4, dr Soong's other creature. He created B4 before Data ;)

  • That's not Lore, is it?

  • Not too shabby! :)
