@cryoman2561 Version 1 was twice as complicated to assemble and people understandably weren't willing to pay that much more for it, so it was discontinued. My other card's aren't $7 unless you are buying a small quantity (<20) with custom printing, but it also makes more sense to think of them like promotional items (shirts, pens, flashlight, key-chains, etc). In that case you'll find that many companies pay that much or more to have their logo on much less interesting objects.
