Most of the wrestlers slagging of Ultimate warrior never drew a fucking dime compared to Warrior. No matter what ANYONE says, this man was such a draw, WWF made hogan lie down clean for him at Wrestlemania for 2 fucking titles, thats the bottom line, you can talk about his in ring work all you like, but the bottom line was, he drew more money than you did and was smart enough to realise that merchandising his character to ensure future profits was the way to go rather than be a slave to vince.

Soooo...ummm....basically...what the Warrior is saying here is that in between his absences from wrestling he went and got himself a basic high school education.....Nice job....retard.
@zeustruth: Ultimate Warrior speaking: "Uh, I like, uh, figured stuff out about life...and uh, I learned new stuff like uh, history and stuff..." Yeah.....
i remember rock and flash usa powwer team dingo warrior watch him evolve into the ultimate warrior then just warrior itellegent man great gimmick i beleive him about hogan i salute you warrior
@DGuillen74 Not really. He was the Warrior before he came to WWF. "Dingo Warrior" had the same look as "Ultimate Warrior"...just not the platform to blow up the way he did.
Yep and Vince was a pimp. Warrior was lame, no doubt; he was a one-note wonder from a Conan-movie, not a wrestler.
And I take it back about Hulk being over-rated; I forgot about Shawnna Michelle Hickenbottom, Vince's personal boy-toy-- I mean What the FUCK was up with that?
Yeah yeah, "asses in seats--- " SAVE it, he lost more money then he brought in, he was BANGING Vince.
You're WAY out of line attributing those sales to Hogan and not Andre.
Hogan was always a big-mouth whore, and Vince is his pimp-- pimps and whores always make more than most people, that don't mean they're better-- it means they SUCK SATAN'S COCK!!!
Integrity and intelligence, you gotta be a little surprised about how down to earth he really is. He also did exactly what he just said - moved on with his life, not hanging on the superstar thing like all the other guys. Fan or not, you gotta agree with the things he said, male mentoring is missing in our society.
Hogan was a major opportunist, Jesse Ventura said that Hogan even ratted out the wrestlers who tried to unionize in order to make a little more for himself. If someone's ego is big enough, and is willing to make a collossal ass of himself, then they can get famous with absolutely no talent if they play their cards right and kiss the right asses-- look at Arnold, who says "play by the rules" after taking steroids for 30 years.
This nutjob changed his name to "Warrior" legally by deed poll, that is sad, he's lucky to be alive, bugs should be eating his body 6 feet under but he must have done SOMETHING right during his cocaine and steroid use to still be breathing
More power to Warrior, Goldberg and Hogan, guys who never sold out to Vince McMahon or overstayed their welcomes to appease him. Soon as they didn't have any more value to Vince, he would phased them out quicker than a fart in a tropical storm. Vince is a shady businessman, and more power to the Warrior for making Vince pay him what he thought he was worth, or held up the pay per view for his dough, GOOD FOR HIM! Vince McMahon is no saint.
Gee... the guy can actually speak and think. You'd never know that watching the WWE video bashing the Ultimate Warrior. Vince threw this guy under the bus, as did a lot of other big names in the business. Granted, he might have been unprofessional at times, but they made him out to be a dumb, insane, dangerous, psycho. Then you hear him speak and you realize it's a load of bullshit.
@seattle0002 What did you expect? That the man can only bawl and snort? People who play the bad guys are normally very good and kind guys. And people who are playing a guy who is wild and insane are very intelligent in real life, and that's what Warrior is.
@seattle0002 Yeah and that talk like it was warrior who was the only one Unprofessional, What about Shawn Michaels (WWE'S golden boy) in the mid to late 1990's,
@Stevebromley Point taken, but Warrior changed his name not because of some has-been need to hang onto his past. He did it to protect carny scum like McMahon from controlling his ability to use the name and make money off of it. Considering he was The Dingo Warrior before he even worked for Vince, he had every right to use at least "Warrior" to make money with. Changing his name legally, while extreme no doubt, helped him to keep rights to the name.
The Warrior wasn't a great wrestler, just like Hogan and Goldberg. Oh wait, those three guys sold more tickets than almost anybody in history so clearly it's not mainly about technique.
I love that while Vince and his employees are still bashing the Warrior, he has moved on and has new goals instead of trying to relive his wrestling glory days forever like Hogan and Flair. The Warrior was one of the best, as exciting as Austin or the Rock without having to play a two-bit punk to do it.
@TheBronzeSkull -"he has moved on and has new goals instead of trying to relive his wrestling glory days forever" LOL he didn't have a choice! NO wrestling promotion really wanted to work with him and he DID try a comeback and it sucked!
@viciouscanadianvixen Give it up. No promotion wanted to work with Warrior? McMahon brought him back twice, the second time absolutely desperate. I'm sure McMahon would bring him back again if he could. WCW paid him huge bucks and he brought in like an 8.0 quarter hour in his debut, and 400K buys for the PPV. NWE brought him back a couple years ago and made $50K for one match. Yeah, Warrior at this point is old and gone so long that yes, his ability to draw is probably gone now.So what.
@peterp21 ...give what up? giving you a reality check?! lol vince brought him back and he tried to scam more money from him and no showed; wcw brought him in-had the WORST match in wrestling history with hogan and wcw ratings tanked for a while because of it, and he did the same dirty thing to them. every promotion that has ever dealt with him has had the same problem. he's blacklisted because he's an asshole plain and simple to work with and he thinks he's better than what he is.
@peterp21 ...the problem with jim (hellwig) warrior is he didn't give 2 shits about fans-including you. he cared only for himself and none for the business in any way shape or form. you're delusional if you think he's some sort of great man. he's a dick and there isn't anyone in the business out there who will tell you anything positive about the douche.
@viciouscanadianvixen And where did I say I give a damn whether Warrior likes me or the fans at heart? Because I don't. He's not my friend and he's not my family, and I don't have any business dealings with him either. And where did I say he was a great man? I don't really care what kind of man he is. He is a unique guy with a unique view and uh, good for him. Like I said, I have no personal relationship with the man. I'm a wrestling fan, and I like the Warrior as a wrestler. Deal with it.
@peterp21 i didn't claim any of those things-YOU RESPONDED TO MY COMMENT WHEN NONE OF MINE WERE DIRECTED AT YOU making false and plain stupid claims that he was some sort of money making hero you dumbass. he isn't "unique" he's a raving lunatic trying to be intelligent (seems familiar!) if you didn't give a damn, you wouldn't have felt the need to respond to my comment in the first place. think before shooting off your mouth. you're the one who needs to "deal with it"...whatever "it" is! LOL
@peterp21 ...you're the one that needs to grow up pal. i never said anything to you to begin with and you responded with your stupid drivel trying to make him sound like he's a great man-i simply responded explaining why he isn't, why you're flat out wrong about him and why people don't like him, when you seem to and think no one has any right to hate on him. get real!
@viciouscanadianvixen You responded to my post. I said nothing about him being a "great man". And about no one having a right to hate him, WTF? Am I impeding you from liking him? Maybe it's best we don't post to each other anymore, as doing so seems to getting your panties into the twist of all twists.
@peterp21 are you retarded? i responded to the bronze skull's post and you stuck your nose in and blabbed good things about him. i responded in kind with the many cons that outweigh the pros and you retaliated like you just discovered you have no balls. i keep all my comment responses-i never once responded to anything you wrote-i responded to others, but not yours. you and jim hellwig must be on the same cheap glue! lol
@peterp21 Damn true. Wrestlers, actors and many other public persons may be the greatest assholes in private life, but as a movie fan I only love the movies the actors play. As a wrestling fan I just love the character the Warrior played. And this character was the BEST in whole wrestling history! No fucking question 'bout it. And by the way... I don't understand why the hell those shitty haters are watching this!!! They should get a life!
@Thoemme666 ...i too loved the warrior character when i was a kid; that doesn't change the fact that he's greedy and untalented. saying he's the best in wrestling history is a bit extreme when you have someone like mark calloway-the undertaker-THAT'S probably one of the best and long lasting gimmicks. you're telling the "shitty haters" to get a life, when you cruise here, defending an untalented has been, trying to relive his glory or something. lol
@Thoemme666 i'm pretty neutral when it comes to wrestling. wwe/vince or independent you won't find a wrestler, promoter, company, cameraman, writer, lighting guy, anyone in the business who has anything positive to say about him. i had a telephone interview with him once and it reminded me of an episode on a crime show when they talk to the psychopath and there's no rhyme or reason to anything being said. it was seriously pointless. his head is up his ass and in the clouds all at once. lol
@robertj0076 "geez he makes himself look like a 72 year old hes not the same WARRRRRIIIOOORR.. i known and loved" What do you expect? Were not in the 80's no more. He's moved on to other things.
Why can't he look Warrior in the eyes during the interview?? Either Scotty is a bad interviewer or he can't handle the power of the Warrior!!!! j/k good stuff though
I was a total mark for warrior as a small kid. we all were. even after hearing about how much of a pain he was in the locker room...and him holding Vince up for money, etc... but even today I'd totally become a 5 year old boy again if i heard his music hit.
Hey I like how i read these few comments about my guy and u guys gave hime positive reviews. I think Ultimate Warrior was one of the best out and indeed stands out from all the rest, its the fact that it was so brief. I still love and respect the man an character period regardless of what others say.
Warrior had a great character with great promos. But holding up your boss before a match for a previously unnegotiated amount of money is just idiotic.
The Character of the Warrior was the best and his interviews were amazing and creative surrealism. James Hellwig is a intelligent and creative guy for coming up with the character and creating a great stage presence with the interviews. The interview did not have to make sense , it was all about using your imagination. If you carry on doing the same thing all your life you will of wasted your life and missed out on so many other things. Nice to see him doing something positive.
@ShadowlooTrueVGM This is what pisses me off about the disinformation about Warrior. WWE painted his promos as ridiculous, inintellgible, crap. WWE let Warrior make the promos. Why? Because he was the Warrior, from parts unknown. What's to say he'd even speak English? WWE know this, yet they make out Warrior was a nutcase. It was his character. I sometimes wonder if, had 'Taker left in similiar circumtances, if WWE would have painted him the same? 'He talked about the dark side and death, lulz!;
@warriorofwrestlingv3 A valid and often overlooked point about the warrior. Also most people and wrestlers these days who make fun of him don't even know him and have never met him? Even if he was off the wall you can see from this interview that he is well spoken and has obviously turned his life around. I don't think a man should be judged for the rest of his life based on an artificial wrestling gimmick.
@papillonaquatique agreed, he's turned his life around and became enlightened, he's nothing like he was back in the day, if vince and the rest of the stooges would let stuff go, warrior could come back and be a mentor to the younger guys and be an ambassador for the company next to cena
@shinobizach89 How do we really know how he was back in the day, though? Brutus Beefcake said that the fact that he didn't hang out in the locker room, drinking/drugging, etc. with the boys, they became offended as a result. He was usually a quiet guy and kept to himself alot. His first marriage was crumbling at the time also. Also, keep in mind Vince was very resistant to anyone doing things outside of wrestling (films, family, etc.) back then. He was basically a slave driver.
@papillonaquatique Well the shit thrown on him by ww and wrestlers r simply gossip and a shit machine Vince created to "Destroy" him.I guess they failed miserably.
Watch "self destrucion of the ultimate warrior" and see for ur self that its a propaganda-litle vengeance they created against him, just because he had the balls to stand on them and not be a puppet.
@MrMethadrine I did see bits of that DVD. I wouldn't buy it if I could get it for free! If I wanted to buy professional propaganda I would go down to my local bookstore and buy a copy of Mein Kampf!
I don't see why the WWE needed to release a DVD bashing one of their employees. It comes across as not only completely unprofessional but also pathetic to exploit one of your employees that is struggling with real life personal issues for your own profit.
@MrMethadrine Not necessarily. I mean Vince has been known to profit even from the deaths of his employees. That man will stop at nothing to make a quick buck so knowing that I think the only motive is uncomtrollable greed.
@papillonaquatique Originally, they asked Warrior to be part of the DVD, if I remember correctly, so they buried him with it instead. They were planning to do the same to Bret Hart if he didn't agree to be part of his own DVD feature-it would have been entirely focused on the Montreal Screwjob, not on the fantastic career he had. That's why he agreed to come on board and do the thing. Warrior didn't, however, so Vince, the petty rich man, used his money to try and destroy him. Didn't work though
@warriorofwrestlingv3 it can't surprise anyone by now, that vince likes to do a little bit of revision on history now and then, especially when he gets pissed off at one of his wrestlers.
I don't understand the trash talk about the Warrior, should people talk trash about jesse ventura, and Hulk Hogan for their tv shows did they sell out? Anyone can have a political agenda(Jesse Ventura). The trash about his interviews, did anyone really understand what macho man was talking about? NO! Vince has f-ed alot of old superstars over. Hulk talks good about him in "The Self Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior" in one line how much was cut by Vince? People loved it when he came back done!
Thanks to Mr. Warrior's influence, I have also read the Great Books of the Western World to fully develop my intellect. How about a boob shot here Mr. Warrior?
@Keyo717 The Tea Party is the ones with the balls in their mouth? That doesn't sound right. I thought it was the left wing that sucked on Obama's balls. And then they tell people that if you don't want to lick the back of Obama's balls then your a racist.

Yeah yeah, "asses in seats--- " SAVE it, he lost more money then he brought in, he was BANGING Vince.
postalmeter 9 months ago
@shadowowl1
You're WAY out of line attributing those sales to Hogan and not Andre.
Hogan was always a big-mouth whore, and Vince is his pimp-- pimps and whores always make more than most people, that don't mean they're better-- it means they SUCK SATAN'S COCK!!!
postalmeter 9 months ago
Note what he says:
"Anyone who followed my career knows that I've had some lengthy and sporadic absences---"
IOW, he's BI-POLAR, and would disappear for long periods during depressive episodes, and he'd work during MANIC ones.
Hopefully he's on medications now.

Integrity and intelligence, you gotta be a little surprised about how down to earth he really is. Silks 9 months ago
@Silks

Vince McMahon is no saint.

btsforever 9 months ago
Gee... the guy can actually speak and think. You'd never know that watching the WWE video bashing the Ultimate Warrior. Vince threw this guy under the bus, as did a lot of other big names in the business. Granted, he might have been unprofessional at times, but they made him out to be a dumb, insane, dangerous, psycho. Then you hear him speak and you realize it's a load of bullshit.
seattle0002 9 months ago
@seattle0002 What did you expect? That the man can only bawl and snort? People who play the bad guys are normally very good and kind guys. And people who are playing a guy who is wild and insane are very intelligent in real life, and that's what Warrior is.

Did I hear him say that it's sad how old wrestlers hang on to their characters? Didn't he legally change his name to warrior?
Stevebromley 10 months ago 3
@Stevebromley Point taken, but Warrior changed his name not because of some has-been need to hang onto his past. He did it to protect carny scum like McMahon from controlling his ability to use the name and make money off of it. Considering he was The Dingo Warrior before he even worked for Vince, he had every right to use at least "Warrior" to make money with. Changing his name legally, while extreme no doubt, helped him to keep rights to the name.

Fiendishfoe666 10 months ago
The Warrior wasn't a great wrestler, just like Hogan and Goldberg. Oh wait, those three guys sold more tickets than almost anybody in history so clearly it's not mainly about technique.
I love that while Vince and his employees are still bashing the Warrior, he has moved on and has new goals instead of trying to relive his wrestling glory days forever like Hogan and Flair. The Warrior was one of the best, as exciting as Austin or the Rock without having to play a two-bit punk to do it.
TheBronzeSkull 10 months ago
@TheBronzeSkull -"he has moved on and has new goals instead of trying to relive his wrestling glory days forever" LOL he didn't have a choice! NO wrestling promotion really wanted to work with him and he DID try a comeback and it sucked!
viciouscanadianvixen 10 months ago
@viciouscanadianvixen Give it up. No promotion wanted to work with Warrior? McMahon brought him back twice, the second time absolutely desperate. I'm sure McMahon would bring him back again if he could. WCW paid him huge bucks and he brought in like an 8.0 quarter hour in his debut, and 400K buys for the PPV. NWE brought him back a couple years ago and made $50K for one match. Yeah, Warrior at this point is old and gone so long that yes, his ability to draw is probably gone now.So what.
peterp21 9 months ago
@peterp21 ...give what up? giving you a reality check?! lol vince brought him back and he tried to scam more money from him and no showed; wcw brought him in-had the WORST match in wrestling history with hogan and wcw ratings tanked for a while because of it, and he did the same dirty thing to them. every promotion that has ever dealt with him has had the same problem. he's blacklisted because he's an asshole plain and simple to work with and he thinks he's better than what he is.
viciouscanadianvixen 9 months ago
@peterp21 ...the problem with jim (hellwig) warrior is he didn't give 2 shits about fans-including you. he cared only for himself and none for the business in any way shape or form. you're delusional if you think he's some sort of great man. he's a dick and there isn't anyone in the business out there who will tell you anything positive about the douche.
viciouscanadianvixen 9 months ago
@viciouscanadianvixen And where did I say I give a damn whether Warrior likes me or the fans at heart? Because I don't. He's not my friend and he's not my family, and I don't have any business dealings with him either. And where did I say he was a great man? I don't really care what kind of man he is. He is a unique guy with a unique view and uh, good for him. Like I said, I have no personal relationship with the man. I'm a wrestling fan, and I like the Warrior as a wrestler. Deal with it.
peterp21 9 months ago
@peterp21 i didn't claim any of those things-YOU RESPONDED TO MY COMMENT WHEN NONE OF MINE WERE DIRECTED AT YOU making false and plain stupid claims that he was some sort of money making hero you dumbass. he isn't "unique" he's a raving lunatic trying to be intelligent (seems familiar!) if you didn't give a damn, you wouldn't have felt the need to respond to my comment in the first place. think before shooting off your mouth. you're the one who needs to "deal with it"...whatever "it" is! LOL
viciouscanadianvixen 9 months ago
@viciouscanadianvixen Grow up. You said exactly those things in your response directed to me.
peterp21 9 months ago
@peterp21 ...you're the one that needs to grow up pal. i never said anything to you to begin with and you responded with your stupid drivel trying to make him sound like he's a great man-i simply responded explaining why he isn't, why you're flat out wrong about him and why people don't like him, when you seem to and think no one has any right to hate on him. get real!
viciouscanadianvixen 9 months ago
@viciouscanadianvixen You responded to my post. I said nothing about him being a "great man". And about no one having a right to hate him, WTF? Am I impeding you from liking him? Maybe it's best we don't post to each other anymore, as doing so seems to getting your panties into the twist of all twists.
peterp21 9 months ago
@peterp21 are you retarded? i responded to the bronze skull's post and you stuck your nose in and blabbed good things about him. i responded in kind with the many cons that outweigh the pros and you retaliated like you just discovered you have no balls. i keep all my comment responses-i never once responded to anything you wrote-i responded to others, but not yours. you and jim hellwig must be on the same cheap glue! lol
viciouscanadianvixen 9 months ago
@peterp21 Damn true. Wrestlers, actors and many other public persons may be the greatest assholes in private life, but as a movie fan I only love the movies the actors play. As a wrestling fan I just love the character the Warrior played. And this character was the BEST in whole wrestling history! No fucking question 'bout it. And by the way... I don't understand why the hell those shitty haters are watching this!!! They should get a life!
Thoemme666 9 months ago
@Thoemme666 ...i too loved the warrior character when i was a kid; that doesn't change the fact that he's greedy and untalented. saying he's the best in wrestling history is a bit extreme when you have someone like mark calloway-the undertaker-THAT'S probably one of the best and long lasting gimmicks. you're telling the "shitty haters" to get a life, when you cruise here, defending an untalented has been, trying to relive his glory or something. lol
viciouscanadianvixen 9 months ago
@viciouscanadianvixen So you know Warrior personally? Or do you just believe Vince and his bunch of paid shit-talkers?
Thoemme666 9 months ago
@Thoemme666 i'm pretty neutral when it comes to wrestling. wwe/vince or independent you won't find a wrestler, promoter, company, cameraman, writer, lighting guy, anyone in the business who has anything positive to say about him. i had a telephone interview with him once and it reminded me of an episode on a crime show when they talk to the psychopath and there's no rhyme or reason to anything being said. it was seriously pointless. his head is up his ass and in the clouds all at once. lol

Hey I like how i read these few comments about my guy and u guys gave hime positive reviews.

@ShadowlooTrueVGM This is what pisses me off about the disinformation about Warrior. WWE painted his promos as ridiculous, inintellgible, crap. WWE let Warrior make the promos. Why? Because he was the Warrior, from parts unknown. What's to say he'd even speak English? WWE know this, yet they make out Warrior was a nutcase. It was his character. I sometimes wonder if, had 'Taker left in similiar circumtances, if WWE would have painted him the same? 'He talked about the dark side and death, lulz!;
warriorofwrestlingv3 9 months ago 29
@warriorofwrestlingv3 A valid and often overlooked point about the warrior. Also most people and wrestlers these days who make fun of him don't even know him and have never met him? Even if he was off the wall you can see from this interview that he is well spoken and has obviously turned his life around. I don't think a man should be judged for the rest of his life based on an artificial wrestling gimmick.
papillonaquatique 9 months ago 30
@papillonaquatique agreed, he's turned his life around and became enlightened, he's nothing like he was back in the day, if vince and the rest of the stooges would let stuff go, warrior could come back and be a mentor to the younger guys and be an ambassador for the company next to cena
shinobizach89 8 months ago
@shinobizach89 How do we really know how he was back in the day, though? Brutus Beefcake said that the fact that he didn't hang out in the locker room, drinking/drugging, etc. with the boys, they became offended as a result. He was usually a quiet guy and kept to himself alot. His first marriage was crumbling at the time also. Also, keep in mind Vince was very resistant to anyone doing things outside of wrestling (films, family, etc.) back then. He was basically a slave driver.
WarriorSmurf 7 months ago
@papillonaquatique Well the shit thrown on him by ww and wrestlers r simply gossip and a shit machine Vince created to "Destroy" him.I guess they failed miserably.
Watch "self destrucion of the ultimate warrior" and see for ur self that its a propaganda-litle vengeance they created against him, just because he had the balls to stand on them and not be a puppet.
MrMethadrine 7 months ago 12
@MrMethadrine I did see bits of that DVD. I wouldn't buy it if I could get it for free! If I wanted to buy professional propaganda I would go down to my local bookstore and buy a copy of Mein Kampf!
I don't see why the WWE needed to release a DVD bashing one of their employees. It comes across as not only completely unprofessional but also pathetic to exploit one of your employees that is struggling with real life personal issues for your own profit.
papillonaquatique 7 months ago
@papillonaquatique This means only one thing. He hurt them.
MrMethadrine 7 months ago
@MrMethadrine Not necessarily. I mean Vince has been known to profit even from the deaths of his employees. That man will stop at nothing to make a quick buck so knowing that I think the only motive is uncomtrollable greed.
papillonaquatique 7 months ago
@papillonaquatique Originally, they asked Warrior to be part of the DVD, if I remember correctly, so they buried him with it instead. They were planning to do the same to Bret Hart if he didn't agree to be part of his own DVD feature-it would have been entirely focused on the Montreal Screwjob, not on the fantastic career he had. That's why he agreed to come on board and do the thing. Warrior didn't, however, so Vince, the petty rich man, used his money to try and destroy him. Didn't work though
warriorofwrestlingv3 6 months ago 2
@warriorofwrestlingv3 If that is true then Vince is one petty man.
