What are you talking about? She didn't make it about herself at all! She wasn't flashy in any way. She didn't wave her arms around or move upstage, or physically move in any way that would draw attention to herself. She simply stood where she was already standing and sang.

She was not flashy in her singing either. She may have used vibrato, but no more than she should, as it was a solo, and did not add any scales or anything ridiculous. She simply sang the song the way it should have been sang. And I'm pretty sure that everyone still got the message. If you didn't like her singing, you could have just left the video.

Your opinions are so right, she is perfect just as you are, and excuse me for not sharing or appreciationg your musical expertise to be able to discern between her attempt at interpreting and someone truly anointed worshipping in song. l mean, Mariah Carey in "Fly like a bird" sounds more pure than this... rendition of a cabaret singer wannabe.
