  • you have some great stuff here

  • i enjoyed this vid

  • I feel awesome living on Quality fruits and jucing

  • i need to get me some of thoes anni-oxidants :P

    J/K good video, very helpfull

  • This is such an informative and comprehensive video. This is so useful for me to motivate myself towards healthy living.

  • 1:20 x'D

  • ALL plant foods have ALL 8 essential amino acids. It's not opinion, it's fact.

  • Thanks for the great facts

  • Can man live on friuts and nuts alone??? Great vid learned a lot.

  • She is right on the money. The only condition is it has to be "Ripe, Whole, Fresh, and In Season Fruit", in order to for the fruit to be packed with all the nutrients she was talking about. It takes time to learn what's in season, basically by trial and error. But it is well worth the extra time and money in the long run. Shop at many different stores and find out who carry's the best/local/organic fruits. Eat plenty of greens and natural fats like avacodos as well. Fruit alone is not...

  • fiber is digested by the bacteria and produces short chain fatty acids which increases leptin sensitivity, lowers insulin levels and increases satiaity. I did not believe lots of fiber and low caloire foods can be so saitiating, boy I was wrong. when I increased my veggies and lower gi fruits over time it does reduce your cravings for the processed and sugary stuff. I wouldn't of believed it without experiencing it myself considering I have been a lifetime sugar addict.

  • for better nutrition, you should always organic fruits not other industry produced fruits product

  • Its called Fiber just for the heads up :)

  • I'm not that good at understanding English..what does she say at 5:53 ? viber or something..how it is spelled right ?

  • @xoxovirtuososue She says FIBER

  • @arainsb123 oh yes, thanks! :)

  • Yep, fruit is good - even modern fruit. People on candy diets aren't running marathons and reversing disease.......but high-fruit eaters ARE!!! - see the 80/10/10 diet, Michael Arnstein, Dr. Doug Graham, Harley, and me: Gary on the PATH Unwinding.

  • That's one bad ass looking pineapple. Brb buying a pineapple.

  • Anyone who says fruit shouldn't be eaten by anyone is an idiot. Thank you.

  • the fruit you eat today is not the fruit your ancestors ate 2,000 years ago, there is no relation in sugar content or size, dates are probably the closests things to a natural fruit. Current fruit is candy.

  • @TheShorterboy Fruit plenty of fibre---absorbs cholesterol & cleans bowe. Fruit---natural sugar that gives energy

& is easily handled by the body. Fruit like apples that have pectin & fight heart disease,Lecithin in watermelon that fight prostate cancer,Vitamin c,a,b,e, antioxidants etc. God gave us a part of the tongue to enjoy sweet tasting foods,a natural comfort.Grapes provide alkalinity & Wine !. Now go back to your crack pipe

  • So beautiful!

  • (cont) And like she says, they also contains tons of vitamins, amino acids, healthful enzymes, etc..So while it may be nature's candy, it's candy without the sin, just like nuts contain good fats, not bad fats.

  • It is nature's candy. However when you eat whole fruit, you're also eating tons of fiber which help the body to metabolize and neutralize the fructose.

  • I got to get me some apples.....that was a long list must be worth it.

  • i have crazy fruit cravings for the last couple of days XD... i haven't eat nothing but fruit today oO

  • Sometimes eating strawberries makes me want to eat more sweet things, so I get natural then un-natural sugar : /

  • Great info right here. Thank you!!

  • Glycemic load is more important than the glycemic index. The issue to read about is fructose and the liver converting it to fat.

  • What sort of bananas have 200 calories each!? A typical banana has around 100 calories and even larger banas only have around 120 calories each. Therefore, 2 bananas will have between 200 to 250 calories. Also, an apple has around 80 calories, so just an extra 20 to 40 calories in a banana are negligible. Bananas rock... they are so tasty! I'm not sure why they have such a bad reputation.

  • @Flint1545 Yeah she's definitely wrong about the bananas.Bananas are one of the healthiest foods!

  • did she say vitamin b12?

  • question- is frozen fruit little bit better then fresh? i heard that somewhere just want to know

  • You're awesome and I love your nutrition advice. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom!

  • You're awesome and I love your nutrition advice. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom!

  • I love your clarity and simplicity. The information is relevant , well organized & helpful.

The backdrops are vibrant and attractive. I enjoyed your video Natalie- Thanks for the Sweat! CoachHealthyMe

  • Flouride?! FLOURIDE?! The government really must not like us. Call me crazy but it seems like they're trying to put it in everything now. Either that or apples are just originally packed with poison.

  • Veronica Belmont's twin sister?

  • The videos posted have been informative, and well researched. I don't think I have seen any health related videos as well done as the ones I have seen by Natalie (psychetruth)

Thank you for being honest and simply giving the facts about our food industry today.

Families of today need to educate themselves on nutrition, and these videos are very easy to understand with a "no nonsense" approach to a healthier lifestyle.

  • Hi #UN#, Let's stay in touch with my vlog channel ! Feel free to Subscribe, Like, Comment, and make Favorite to @ciciliciousnyc! <3

  • Water is considered a chemical

  • Actually an enzyme is a chemical that loswers the activation energy of a chemical reaction between other chemical. So it is a chemical

  • Fruits are welcomed to any diet. They contain so much vitamins and minerals. The natural sugars from fruit are packed with minerals while refined sugar are not. In that sense, fruits are much healthier but sugar is still sugar.

Eating fruits and vegetable and exercising daily is the key to a healthy life style.

  • Unfortunately she's wrong in one sense - an enzyme is NOT a chemical, it modifies a chemical's reactants to reduce the activation energy required for a certain reaction to take place.

  • Great Video !! Thanks

  • isn't fluoride technically bad...?

  • look at her tits in this video

  • 1.19 thats the sound I want to hear...

  • @BelgianBass

lmao, her choking on your dick?

  • @BelgianBass Your comment have been making me crack up for hours how.... Every time I think about it I crack up again.... I think people are starting to think im weird.... I cant explain them :)))

  • Comment removed

  • Nice video - I like how you organized it into specific benefits. The visuals in your videos are always fun too, smart with all the short attention spans out there :)

Not sure how often you read comments & I see you don't reply to them... but I have two questions I'll ask anyway:

    1) Would you do a video on the 80/10/10 diet? (Speaking of fruit!) I'm very into it & it would be fun to see your thoughts on it.

    2) Why don't you delete (or never approve) the really lewd, sexual comments?

  • Fruit makes me spacy, weak, air headed.

If there are no minerals in teh ground after decades of beign worked, is it in the fruit.

    "Flouride"?

    EW: Enzyme propoganda, look deeper.

Fruit is better than modern anti-life junk food. That is why people feel better, but it is not a long term strengthener, in my experience and view.

  • @AOZXRAY That's dead right, the ground that fruit and veg is grown in should be fertilized with manure and vegetable matter, not just nasty zombie chemicals from BASF and monsanto and other evil big agri bastards!! GROW YOUR OWN FRUIT AND VEG PEOPLE!!!!

  • In other words... Wait? did she just say flouride was a mineral? I guess this is 2008 maybe she didn't know the truth about flouride yet. Flouride is a toxin which some studies have ranked more toxic than lead.

  • Natalie is high in gracious index

  • Sugar in fruit is not refined sugar. It's good for you and our bodies need it. I don't believe anything medical doctors say anymore.

  • honestly there is so much to say about nutrition that she can't put everything into one video. I find all of her videos very helpful and modivating. who ever leaves perverted comments on here, it would be nice if u would stop. it's disgusting.

  • Very helpful :-)))

  • .. but it still sugar and it acidifies your blood and tissues. And when you say apple, I'd like to ask, did you try wild apple? Not the sweet ones planted in your garden. Even 30 yrs ago in my grandmother's garden there were no sweet apples. Even pears were tasting dodgy. So I can imagine what fruits were 10+20k years ago. I bet, you'd better choose eating grass then. I couldn't balance my pH until I removed sweet fruits from my diet. Any experience from others?

  • 2 bananas = 400 cals? not quite.

  • you're videos are slow... get to the point

  • I would rate this video as 6/10 What Natalie fails to address is what kind of fruits are recommended. Generally, I would divide fruits into 2 broad categories: 1- Sweet 2- Acidic I eat granny smith, but never a sweet apple. Kiwi is good, mango...no so good (unless it's still green, yummy!) Concord and dark skin grapes are better than sweet white grapes. Most fruits are less sweet when they are less ripe, so I prefer those. Any food that is closer to its embryonic stage is generally better...
  • fruit is mans food

  • i'm addicted to her pussy.

  • I know fruits are good duh!! My sister loves bananas she ask for all the time! The big ones she says often I find them whole in her bed saving them for later when she's hungry!!!

  • Whatta fuck am I doing? Why am I eating all this crapfood and candy?? Why am I doing this to my beloved body??? Oh Im so over this shit!! Im gonna go buy fruits right away!!! *feels stupid*. :/

  • An apple a day keeps Alzhiemer's away!!!

  • I have heard that flouride is bad for people. Especially when it comes from toothpaste. Do you agree?

  • Natalie, This was a really good video. I was not sure on fruit and blood sugar problems. Thank you so much for this one. I am going to email this to all my friends too. Doug in Calif...

  • Like those pictures :)

  • fruit is good no matter what, better than candy, junk and shit. I really dislike this ortorexic nutricionists. They must be starving em self.

  • Fruit has fiber on it. So the absorption of the sugar should be slower than that of candy. Bah, what have these 'doctors' come up with now? What do they eat? Only steak??

  • I'm pro apple, but since when is Fluoride a vitamin or essential mineral?

  • I don't like fruit. I like prime rib. I will try and eat more just cause you are so pretty.

  • this is gay

  • i love your video! it was very informative. thank you :)

  • I'll anti her oxidants.

  • @futoncat thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard

  • Are raw fruits healthier than ripe fruits and if so how much less nutrients do ripe fruits have.

  • I find most fruits more enjoyable than candy... I am not sure how healthy a watermelon is... but I would rather have a chilled watermelon that is so juicy and sweet, than any thing else including ice cream... apples are generally sweet. Bananas not my favorite but ok, grapes are sweet, oranges usually sweet etc.

  • Very good quality and informative. Jerry G.

  • Why havnt I met a girl like Natalie ! She is fabulous.

  • @KelferMookie perv go suck ur mother tits PERV!!!

  • Thank you saving me hundreds of dollars going (back) to a nutritionist. Solid information - a lot of which I've read in the past. It's great to have knocked back into my head (:

  • The psychetruth is they are scientologists that are promoting anti psychitry!

  • @cherkas009 - scientologists are crazed cultists who need to be deprogrammed for their own good

  • wow! your water video has already got me drinking 3 to 4 bottles of water within the last hour. I'm thirsty! but the fruit video realy opened my eyes to the fact that I can eat mostly raw foods like fruit, vegtables, etc. in place of all the pre-packaged processed stuff i eat...i can regain the proper health i need and am meant to have and i don't have to feel guilty. 1 good choice can lead to another. thanks for your videos. they help me want to make healthy choices.

  • apples have flouride in them due to the pesticides sprayed on them... thats not good, eat organic only!

  • @prickett233 i still think apples are good for your oral health after a meal even without the pesticides. (something about combatting plaque naturally)

  • natalie, now that i've watched so many of your videos i find myself so much more attracted to fruits and vegetables and quinoa and walnuts. My diet is on the right track because of the wonderful information you share with us. Thank you so much :]

  • Cyanocobalamin (B-12)

  • i just wanted to say thank you, i finally understand the benefits of eating fruit. you have a great way with words and i appreciate your ability to take something so complex and break it down into a short little video

  • I'll start eating fruit if you kiss me =)

  • this video has inspired so me so much that i ate over 12 fruits while watching your videos lol

  • Natalie! Come back to youtube! We love you! You're sooooooooo prettty and soooooooo smart and soooooo great!!!!! The interwebz isn't the same without you! I need to see you in a bikini drinking a fruit smoothie on a beach in the Lesser Antilles! Come back now!

  • I would be down to marry Natalie.

    She's smart, pretty & healthy.

I fear having kids with a woman who would let me, herself & my children eat junk.

  • i love your nutrition videos!

  • Kiss me Natalie :D.

  • @mrpoopdaddy I fucking love your name

  • You can eat that many apples via apple juice

  • Thanks Natalie for all your hard work to educate us on how to look after our health. :)

  • Fruits are great, but you forgot to mention to clean the Fruits & Veg.

  • Dont eat fruits??? What expert is saying such crap? Fruits are the best thing you can do for your body!!!!! High in vitamins and nutrients!!!!!! Of course people need to move in order to burn cals. There are several types of sugar! These guys are no experts, these guys are.....fruitloops :-)

  • natalie what do you think of the paleo diet?

  • 11 grams of fiber in mcdonalds meal? Im amazed, did they spill some real food into it?

  • Bullshit, greens and grains have more nutrients BY FAR.

  • natalies amazing with all these facts so glad i found this channel

  • unfortunately vitamin B12 is cyanocolbalamin or methylcobolamin, not Pantothenic acid, lol

  • helpful thanks

  • Its not 400 calories in 2 bananas.

  • Fruit good, fruit roll-ups not so good.

  • i love how Natalie in a background of kiwi @ 7:40

  • Fresh Fruits have natural and organic suger which doesnt make u fat, only the white crystal and bowder suger makes u fat which iz found in cakes, cookies, and other desserts.

  • @YoSeCualEsMejor

not true. anything that contains fructose gets processed by the liver. if you eat more than you burn and more than is stored as glycogen, the liver converts it to fat to store for later energy use. though fruits have enzymes and co-enzymes to help metabolize the fructose in them, if you eat too much, it can cause weight gain. processed sugar, corn-syrup, etc. do not have the enzymes and co-enzymes to metabolize the sugar. this is why they have a more dramatic affect.

  • @fredlfb good thing i work out an hour a day LOL

  • fruit is healthy its what nature gave to us duuuuhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! just dont crash and over duje it protein or carbs bitttttches

  • okay....natalie...there's something you need to understand....GI isn't everything. yes fruit is low GI but, fruit also contains fructose, which isn't good for you. small amounts are fine but the liver turns it into fat and is uptaken by the liver hence it's "low" GI. but that fructose is turned immedetly into triglycerides and stored in adipose tissue...meat has an insulin response....and it has a glycemic index of zero. that alone disproves it. You want vitamins and minerals eat your veggies!!!

  • A lovely lady and very knowledgeable!

  • Enzymes are chemicals? B12 is pantothenic acid? Losing credibility here, Natalie.

  • hey is it healthy to eat the 5$ fruit the mexican guy sells near my house? I wonder is it natural fruit? please answer i eat that like twice a week or more

  • @localSickened sure its healthy

  • I love fruit

  • ya fruit has alot of nutrurenst in it but with all the cemicals in them from the farms its way down. sorry for spelling

  • I love Natalie

  • Thank you so much to fight back against these lies on food and give the truth to people.

  • 2:35 Why is flouride in apples. I thought that the water in fruit was flouride free.

  • @gerisboyle Don't worry!! This is not in amount to worry you!! This is needed in that amount in the body. But the fluoride in the way it is in the water is bad and should be avoided.

  • I was addicted to sugar now I'm addicted to Natalie!

  • @stormtdx1 hahaha luv it

  • @stormtdx1 that's hillarious!

  • 20 and a half apples? holy shit!

  • Thanks, this video was very informative. I have wondered about the sugar content and how healthy that would be. I am so glad it is all good cause I DO Love to eat fruit a lot.

  • I had 20 apples in a meal once. Yum!

  • McDonalds has 11 grams of fiber? Really? That's 44% of our daily value of fiber!

  • Your rationale is based mostly on the glycemic index, which pretends that diabetes is caused by high glycemic index foods. The controversy, now, is based around whether liver metabolism of fructose is the real cause of insulin resistance.

  • Pentothenic acid is vitamin B12?!

NO WAY, it's vitamin B5 - the clue is in the name.

  • fruit has sucralose, some are high on the glycemic index, apples and pears I believe are low on the glycemic index, and pineapples and watermelon are high in the index, blueberries and strawberries are high in antioxidants.

  • @EMOTIONALLOGICABLE Fruit have sucralose? A artificial sweetener that is man made? Really?

  • @timmyxdl maybe I'm thinking of sucrose. It's one of the two guaranteed.

  • very helpful information thank you because you uploaded it for us so we know about our health

  • Fruit is high in amino acids and fiber, vitamins and water content. The only warning I have heard is that you are supposed to eat them only. What is your thought on this food combining idea?

  • never doubted fruits benefits, but I had heard similar myths about the high sugar. Thanks for this awesome video

  • I LOVE FRUIT!!!

  • can you plz make a vid about how to prepare lunch for school

  • wow you're my new bestfriend lol... Very interesting video

  • very helpful, Natalie. Thank you!

  • I agree with the eating of fruit though. There are only a few species of animal on earth which bodies do not make Vitamin C. Those include primates (and humans). That's because we (are supposed) to get Vitamin C from fruit! A diet that does not inlcude Vitamin C containing fruit, is not a healthy balanced diet, period.

  • (continued)

The fact that Fluoride gets added to toothpaste and water is shocking and totally insane. But I guess in a world where mercury (the most toxic non-radioactive element on earth) is used in leaky dental fillings, any other insanity is also possible! (All dental amalgam fillings leak mercury, which is more toxic than arsenic!)

  • Another thing: Fluoride should not be listed as a (beneficial) mineral. Our bodies don't need fluoride. It has no health benefit for us or our teeth! Fluoride is actually very toxic and should absolutely not be put in toothpaste or water. Hopefully in apples it's bound to something that renders it harmless.

  • She made a mistake: Pantothenic acid is Vitamin B5, not B12. Vit B12 is cobalamin. B12 is only found in animal product - it's not found in any fruit. Interestingly: Vegetarians abstaining from B12-containing animal product (meat, eggs, etc) eventually suffer health consequences when their bodies run out of B12, unless they supplement. (Just one of many proofs that human beings are omnivorous.)

  • I lost weight with only fruits

i ate them every time and how much i wanted

1 meal a day and the rest was FRUITS!!

    10 KG IN 45 DAYS!!

  • I lost weight with only fruits

  • I never feel satisfied with fruit alone. I still feel the high fructose in fruit is not the greatest in making me feel satisfied and full. I definately need to be eating fat or protein with fruit to feel good. Too much fruit is still too much sugar I feel.

  • @2626mummy1111 Too much -anything- is too much. That's why we call it too much. If you're in good shape, keep doing whatever you're doing, but if you're not in good shape, keep in mind that feeling satisfied long-term isn't the same as feeling full, it's getting your blood sugar balanced. If you keep eating continuously until you feel full, you probably are eating too much.

  • 80/10/10 !!!!

  • Natalie rocks!

  • Wait, why is this video a video response to Chris Crocker? That's so random...

  • YOU ROCK!

  • hehe treebark is also full of fiber, yum yum! :)

  • I love most fruit and all their juices. I especially love the taste of black cherries and their juice. Yum.

  • @chiyer Juice isn't a whole food:The sugar's too concentrated & the fiber's missing. Every anti-fruit fallacy becomes the truth when referring to the juice. Juicing is processing, juice is a processed food.

  • @lazur1 As they say, 'Everything in moderation.' As long as you're getting the juice straight from the fruit and nothing has been added to it and it does contain some of the pulp, it should be fine, especially in moderation.

  • @chiyerano A perfect proportion of pulp & sugar is in whole fruit. Why avoid it? In real-life, sugar intake via juice is almost never moderate: 3-4 oranges make 8oz OJ. In a restaurant you'd order 8oz, at home you'll drink at least 12oz,(4.5 - 6 oranges): Not moderate sugar at all, & w/almost all fiber removed, it's consumed & absorbed much faster than 6 oranges, no matter how much pulp. If you refuse to drink water & eat whole fruit, juice is better than soda..that's about it.

  • @lazur1 How would you know how much juice I drink? For all you know, I may not drink anything more than 4 oz. a day. If YOU are having problems consuming juice then YOU probably shouldn't drink it. As for me, I focus on having only pure fruit juice meaning juice with no additives or high fructose corn syrup, along with water. I am not worried about it, I've been doing this for years without a health problem. When mixed in with a well balanced diet in moderation, juice is fine.

  • @chiyerano Nothing personal. I don't drink juice. If I did, I'd wouldn't be satisfied w/ less than 8oz , any more than I'd drink less than 8oz of water. If you're drinking 4oz of juice per meal, you're exceptional, & certainly not what I'd call a "juice-drinker". Works for you, great. Can't argue w/your personal fitness & health. Fact remains: You've left a lot of nutrition behind in the the fruit, sped up absorption of sugar, & consumed more sugar than you would if eating the fruit.

  • @lazur1 It still contains much of the pulp and it seems to me that if the juice has much of the pulp and has not been pasteurized, then much of the nutrition is still there. Fact remains: It is the man made artificial sugars (and trans fats, and overly processed meats, grains) that are causing much of the common diseases and illnesses we know of today. Man is acting like he understands the science in all these foods and he doesn't. It's time for man to work with nature and not against it.
