You know how at the end he click at that lamp? When I was little I used to watch this show like everyday. And we had a lamp similar to that one in our kitchen. One night me and my older sister where in the kitchen and before I ran upstairs to be I looked at her and said "See you soon!" And click out that lamp. She used to watch the show with me, so you can guess she got a huge kick outta that.

Luna always used to scare me when I was little. She reminded me somewhat of the Moon from Legends of Zelda, Majora's Mask. But of course, now I know she was just a nice gentle moon.

Either way, this was my favorite song through the whole show. It taught me moral values.

I swear to God. When I was little, for whatever reason, I thought Luna was the spirit or representation of Bear's wife or something. I think it was because they always sang about saying goodbye to good friends. Needless to say, this was always my favorite/least favorite part of the show. Favorite, because it was so well-sung. Least favorite because it meant that the episode was ending. I love you, Bear. Goodnight.

I was already an adult (19 i think) when this show started but I still watched it cuz my bro was about 11 n he watched it so I had an excuse :) I think this was probably the last educational kids show out there. First, we lost Captain Kangaroo, then Mister Rogers. Now Bear is gone because Luna went away. I'm 59, and the show was very comforting and reassuring to my inner child. That child had some bad times but Bear and his friends helped soothe some of the hurt. I have warm and wonderful memories, because of the gang at the Big Blue House. Thanks, Bear.
