i wish this today actresses would look at this clips. the idea of a complete actress ended with madhuri dixit. today some actresses only have boxoffice success with zero acting skills like katrina. some are excellent in acting but are not good dancers like rani, kareena. some have excellent acting skills and are a little above average dancers like Ashwarya and priyanka but can`t seem to get the box office recognition they deserve. i miss the Hema , Sridevi, and madhuri days.These 3 had it all

Well said vinodgopal ji. I will go a step further and venture to say that she was best ever before and after. That is , considering all her talents. Meena kumari might have excelled her in tragic roles, Savithri of south might have excelled her slightly in histrionics. But her beauty, talent in all types of roles-comic, tragic angry, pathos, dancing ability, voluptuousness, provocative etc., none ever even equalled her leave alone excelled her.

i think she is the last of the complete actress the industry ever had. Ever since there are imperfectionists only. Sridevi easily passed the acid test of 5 industries - Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi and had been the no.1 actress in all of the 5 industries. Thats an achievement nobody else has ever matched up with her.

Aishwarya does not even come close to Sridevi in dancing or acting. Although i would have to say that Meenakshi is an even better dancer than Sridevi, she just lacked Sridevi's looks and charm.

actually I have always said nice things about sridevi. You can check all the sridevi videos by halimili. I must admit I have not been good with sridevi fans but that does not mean I hate sridevi. She is one of the most talented artists to ever grace in Indian celluloid. Her performance in films like Lamhe, Chaalbaaz, Sadma, Chandni etc.. will continue to inspire new generation of artists. My absolute favourite is Lamhe. She was simply brilliant.

Same here. I am not a very loyal fan of Sridevi but admire her talent a lot. I think the first time i really started liking her when I watched chaalbaaz. I could not stop laughing. She performed 2 distinctly different role to perfection and deserved all the accolades that she got out of it. My absolute favourite is of course Lamhe which I thought she was brilliant. I am glad that in midst of all the ugliness we agreed. Nice to see a surprisingly refrshing tone from you.
