You can't take the blame of slavery off the U.S. Just like every other kind of production it's about supply and demand. The Americans demanded slaves and the Europeans supplied, and reversed. It's the working together between these countries that created slavery, and all those countries are to blame. And yes the Dutch had colonies (I am Dutch myself), why do you point that out? A lot of European countries had colonies, though thankfully not any longer.
