Hey i got one of those subs in a sealed box and im runing it with a 300w orion cobalt mono amp, i want to upgrade the amp and get the 500w mono or the 600w 2 channel or the 800w mono cobalt orion amp what do you recommend if im only runnin one 12 im thinking of getting the 500w amp its 175 rms wattage and 250w x 1 channel at 2 ohms as opposed to 80rms and 150w x 1 channel on my current amp, is it worth the upgrade and will it make a difference? please respond this only vid i found of same sub.

heres a tip flip the subs face'n up or too tha seats i no ppl face them that way blah blah blah to face them that way u need to dynamat tha hole truck to give it tha effect of bounce off tha truck or else u end up with tha rattle i hate itt i have 2 10" how many ohm r thos u think ?

@kevinthematthews on ANY website you buy these off of it says for sealed and bandpass boxes recomended.. im not tryn to b a dick im just saying that these werent built for that.... they need atleast one side seald to sound good.

@shawanostoner sealed boxes are shit. bandpass boxes are shit. ported or vented boxes make your subs perform as they can, but they are limited in sealed boxes. air movement is a HUGE part of making your subs perform to their abilities, and with sealed boxes, you're just not getting any air movement.

i used to have 2 12 of those and damn they were loud , i was trowing 900w rms to boath of them they sounded as loud as the 2 12 cvrs i had....too bad they dont have them on 15's....i sold the kicker cvr 12's and the perf tek and bought 2 15 kicker cvr's.....not bad for the price i paid lesss that $100 a pair
