hey stewart, lovely playin m8, some of the best playin i've heard as yet on youtube (that includes the greats), concise playing and beautiful tone throughout.
would you mind telling me what your approach to interpretation is? it would mean a lot to me and would help me a lot. in particular how you approach the learning and interpreting of a piece.
Sensational!! When are you coming to Oz? Brisbane to be specific!! By the way... what is it about mathematicians and music? They often seem to go together.
No Oz plans as yet, I'm afraid. Mind you, I've never been there and would love to go; is there a good guitar scene in Brisbane? As for the maths-music link, it does seem to often be true and for me is largely to do with similar skill sets: I tend to use largely the same process in constructing a proof and interpreting/preparing a piece. Of course,I can't speak for others, but that's my tuppence worth...
Not a bad guitar scene here. I think Phil Houghton still lives here. Karen Schaupp lives around the corner from me. John Williams visits every now and then. By and large it's a pretty tight circle. And, of course, the climate is very agreeable.
great job, now buy yourself a colour camera.

Hmmm. When I say John Williams visits every now and then I meant he visits Brisbane... not my house.
