Netefrog is CLOSET DOO GUY ABOUT TO COME OUT,HE HAS THE SLOWEST SLED IN TOWN,HE WANTS THE FASTEST,WHAT DOES HE DO=GET A SKI-DOO#1 FOR A REASON LADYS AND GENTLEMAN!!!!!!!!!!!
The engines are not designed to do the same thing you putz. One is designed to be a small output high hp engine with performace while the other is designed to maximize fuel economy while still producing decent power.
@TheOfficialK Buyers of these sleds will be older people who just want to get out and ride, not mess around with a 2 stoke with about 10,000 miles max out of a 2 stoke whereas a good 4 stroke in a sled will last 200,000 miles
@TheOfficialKC I can totally see where your coming from but there is a reason why cars and stuff isnt 2 stokes just 4 stroke, but i how eventually they can make a good powerful 2 stroke that will last because in a sled a ski doo 800 will last under 5000 miles and the etec is said to be having the same problems by dealers just somewhat more realiable. So right now a four stoke has somehwhat a purpose in a sled espesially with all 4 stokes bein used in so many aplications.
@jtangjerd The reason 2-strokes are not in cars is emissions and fuel economy. Until recently they have been bad. Modern direct injection and oil injection has turned them around. It wouldn't be surprising to see them in cars in the future. The reliability benefits of oil injection plus the efficiency benefits of low friction in 2-strokes and light weight could bring them to cars again. Just look at outboard boat engines.
Leave it to the chucklehead crowd to not grasp that power isn't everything . . . .

HAHA you call them retarded? what kind of motors are you puting out? and if u think there that dumb why are you even watching this?
BUDS907 1 year ago
Rotax you are retarded. You obvioulsy know your E-Tec 2-strokes are better. You should have just made a 400cc 2-stroke E-Tec. Same horsepower, 33mpg.

@jtangjerd I reliable built 2-stroke can outlast a 4-stroke.
And with E-Tec it will be lighter, have less maintenance and get better gas mileage.
TheOfficialKC 2 months ago
@TheOfficialKC Well they say that it is more reliable and has better mileage but that's BS
jtangjerd 2 months ago
@jtangjerd It's not bs if you know how a 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine works.
