people aren't truly dead until the people who hold there memories die. these guys hold there memories with there music. so the music is still alive :)
@imsofreakingcooldude Fuck you, when you die I'll Laugh My Ass Off. Thats what its like for saying this songs sucks, just shut the fuck up. R.I.P Ritchie, JP, and Buddy
@MisFire45 LMFAO, first your english and writing skills, are absolutely terrible. You should go cut your wrists pussy, because you clearly have a terrible taste in music. i wouldnt laugh my ass off when you die, ill laugh my ass off when i kill you. Fucking faggot.
good song i lost my dad at the age of 56 of cancer my mom told me about ritchie valens big bopper and buddy holly she has it shocked the whole world around
Eddie was a close friend of Buddy and it hit him hard, when he recorded this tribute song he kept breaking down in tears so had to do several takes. The recording studio had to put together the many takes to result in the final that you hear now! :-(
@1691bhm Right on the money with that. He & Buddy were close, & from what I understand, he had to leave the booth after the recording to be alone, & then came back in & told the producer if he released that, he'd never record for him again. So Tommy Dee had the released version. Eddie never really recovered from Buddy's death.
Eddie's good but the version that I knew of from my mom is by Tommy Dee. check it out think it's a bit better.....sorry Eddie! I sent Tommy Dee's version to my mom and she cried....being from when it happened.
With a crual irony, Eddie Cochran died in a car crash 14 months after the plane crash. He was only 21, thus even younger than Buddy Holly. The song Three Stars was a posthumous release. All those wonderful people who died before their time. The world would be different. probably better, would they have lived.
im 16, im from london(england) and i cried when i first heard this, i aint a fagot that for sure, but this song make youthink of those lost ones... jee where gonna miss you, everybody sends there love
You can hear Eddie's voice cracking as he's singing, Damn! that must have been a hard one for him to record. By far the most haunting vocal in rock history ! R.I.P. Eddie Gee we miss you EVERYBODY SENDS THEIR LOVE !!!
A little public service announcement:For all those, with a down syndrome relative, more or less 35 years of age. Get them in, for a full physical. They are prone to heart problems, lukemmia, and fast growing cancer. You just may save a life,of a great person.
